So guys i just got back from the hair salon. Today i got my hair treated, i dyed it jet black and i had it still pressed and i had it trimmed. I'M not gon na lie, though sometimes when they trim in my hair, like i just feel like how is my hair ever supposed to go when you're like, i feel like they're really seriously just keep tremendous a minute, because i get my head trimmed all the time. So i'm just like: why is there still so much to train? I think next time i'm gon na be like no trim. I'M gon na not trim my hair for like four months because honestly, like i'll, see my hair growing and then they'll trim it and then it's gone back to the same length and i'm like baby. What'S going on, but anyway yeah. I, like my headshot black, because i just feel like my hair, just looks so much better in my opinion. Anyway. Oh my god guys just an update on my camera because in the last vlog i was really complaining about my camera. It wasn't the camera. It was my memory card. Basically i needed to format my memory card. So now i format my memory card. I don't have that issue. So if anyone ever has a recovery, they are issues with their camera. It'S the memory card. I'Ve never dyed my hair before ever, but i decided to dye my hair this time because guys, i'm so tired of wigs, like literally so tired - and i just feel like my natural hair - is not full enough or long enough for me to rock it in styles. That i would like so i decided to get tape ins because i feel like it's more flexible, but the only thing that i'm just not too sure about is like. If i have tapings, let me see, because basically, i've ordered yaki straight tape. Him because i feel like, even though, like i saw my hair, i don't feel like. I have silky straight hair. I still feel like. I have some sort of like texture to it, so i got i bought the yucky straight one, but my thing is what about? If my natural hair starts to pop, will it just look crazy with the tape? Do you know what i mean so i'm like? Is that really is that going to be a tester that lasts a couple because i feel like when you do a still press? It kind of lasts, if i'm very, very honest three weeks. I guess that's a good long enough to have a hairstyle. I thought those papers are actually taped because you can't just take it out yourself, it's a bit long, but that i'm honestly, just tired of which i can't stick one more thing down on my head. Ah, these are the tapings. I'Ve got 16 inches because i want it to still look a bit natural. I don't want to look like i've got mad long hair and it's a hundred and i got 120. So it looks like this. I feel like this matches my hair so good. What'S the color of you and they give you like extra, i feel like this goes with my hair quite well. What do you guys think? Oh, is my hair darker. I think my hair is actually darker than it guys my hair's dark. I might have to diet jet black, then, oh, how is this gon na look? I just don't know if i make something to eat before my consultation because i am hungry. So i'm gon na make my hello fresh, oh yeah, i'm gon na do the prawn thai style curry, because it's literally what 20 minutes and it's number four i ran away from heartbreak because i didn't want my hair to smell. Let me taste this cause. I'Ve! Never really made this before. Does anyone else get really impatient blowing hot feet like i just want to eat, and then i've been on top of my gums and then my gums are sore for like weeks i did what i was exactly trying to avoid it's too hot, but it's really nice. I really like this because there's one curry, i really don't like, because this one's red thai curry - i don't like green thai curry - got nothing in return from my pain. I never thought i'd be so empty, so i made such a difference like the way you blow dry your head, and that's me very well, i'm telling you i just like my hair stronger. It does, and this is not even pressed. This isn't even pressed extensions yeah. I did middle because i could have my hair up and with side. I couldn't have my hair up, so this is love it you, like it hi, it's just my hair guys. I really love it. I prefer it up. Oh, so, basically guys we had a few issues, because my hair, my natural hair, is quite short so when she was doing it for me, she was limited to how much tape she could be put in the front and then also when she was layering it, because My hair at the front literally comes to here. She didn't want to layer it too short, because then it would look weird on it straight so and also the lady that did my trim. She basically gave me like a blank cup, so it was like was a bit choppy, so she tried to layer it in a way where it doesn't look so choppy, but when my hair grows i'll have more versatility with it, but mainly for me, though, i think I want to have my hair up rather than down, because if i wanted to have my hair down i'll just wear my wigs tonight but yeah guys, i've got hairpins. Let me know what you guys think i just really want my hair to grow, so i have more versatility, but i'm not mad, hey guys. Basically, i felt like yesterday i was just very chaotic, because i was getting my lashes done later. That day that i had got my hair done, i was getting my brows done later that day that i got my hair done. So i thought i didn't really speak enough on my tapings, so i just want to quickly just round up my whole experience. So obviously, before i got my tape here and you guys saw, i went to the hairdresser's to get my hair dyed jet black, because obviously i need the extensions i was getting. I wanted to dye it gently and i just wanted it to blend a lot better. I got my hair treated. I just get my hair treated regularly just to keep my hair healthy and i got it trimmed and i got here so pressed because i had a consultation with the lady that was gon na. Do my taping and in the consultation she basically says, come like. Do the consultation as you would have your hair, so she could see you know the length of my hair, my hair, texture and stuff like that. So when i had my consultation, we done it over face time. She basically was like to me. You know my hair is quite short normally she does, like you know her to the chin level, just because of the blend, and she said my hair is healthy enough to have tapings because um and then throughout the week leading up to my tapers. Obviously i had a wig put in because obviously i had like work to do and stuff and then, after that i took the wig off and then i washed my hair and blow-dried it. Because i just i assumed that you know i had to cover clean hair. But then, once i got to my appointment, she did. Let me know that she washes my hair anyway and blow dry there and stuff anyway. So heads up for that, you don't need to come with clean hair and then, as i was doing, the tape and she did mention because i got yaki straight hair - i'm not gon na lie. I have all the tape before even consulting like an actual hairstylist. What would be the best tape and she did actually let me know that she doesn't actually like working on yaki straight hair. She feels like it doesn't blend as nice as other textures. So just a heads up, because i know i was talking about oh yeah. I got yaki straight hair because i just believed it would blend better, but she did say that with my, she normally likes to go with like the person's natural curl pattern and then just straighten it out, because it has more of a like a texture that blends Well with the person's raw hair, so you know it's the next time. I do buy tape and she mentioned that. I'M combo, i think it's cambodian kinky curl or something like that, but you can always. I would suggest, asking like an actual hairstyle. It'S what texture tapers to get and not be like me and be too fast. I wanted to kind of try to pins now as well, because one i really am over wigs and i'm just over gluing hair on my skin and my head, like sometimes i just want my whole head out, and obviously i spoke about in a previous um video. Like a while ago, my forehead has always been like her insecurity of mine, which thank god, i'm finally over, but honestly, sometimes it does get me sometimes, but obviously, when we was doing so anyway. I just want to have more of my head out. I want to be able to put my hair on ponytail high bar, like just have a lot more versatility just feel like i have my hair out, but obviously my hair is quite short at the moment, so you know just give it some thickness, give it some Length - and just you know play about with it a bit more so that when i go on holiday, i wanted to see if, like tape, is like a better option for me, because you know like in the heat and stuff you can just put your hair up And also she did say to me: oh yeah also she does that she prefers not to work on relaxed hair, so you don't feel like you have to relax your hair. If this is something you're, considering there's other ways to like get your hair, you know straight or to you know, release your texture a little bit. She said, there's this other thing that she does called painting treatment or something which is a lot better than relaxing your hair, like relaxing your hair is just too permanent like yeah, she was like yeah. She done this and she's done something like that, and obviously you can get pins and stuff to match your curl pattern and stuff and like she was jumping in the water. Everything containers were fine and stuff, so i just wanted to test it. While i'm in the uk first before taking something like this on holiday, but i'm thinking to do something like that for my holidays coming up, but obviously i'll be keeping you guys updated. You know in terms of like how lasting they are and stuff um. Is it painful? No, it obviously does feel a bit tight so like when i'm putting my hair up, i'm still a little bit like hair. Maybe i should have pushed it like that. Do you know what i mean, but then again i don't know if it's because i'm not used to it as well. I say it's like i'm trying to be careful, but the hair stylist was like. Don'T try to be careful just like treat it like a shovel hair, but i'm still there like. Oh, i need to be careful but yeah if anyone has like um tape, ins and stuff and has like more experience with it comment below. Let me know ways to like maintain, not maintain it but like to get more use out of it yeah i might just be in a baby, or do you use that because i just feel like i'm being too careful like when i brush my hair, i'm like. Oh well, anyway, if you guys have any questions, leave them below. If i can help, i will, if not, you know, i'll direct you to the hairstylist that i used. If i think of something i'm sure i will let you guys know in upcoming vlogs, so yeah like comment and subscribe and i'll see you guys very, very soon, baby see me on tv now the love is real. Dark

Ngozi Alia: Adeola your bone structure is stunning. Short hair like a pixie cut would look so bomb on you! Love the tape ins though!

R B: The tap in's look so natural! Regarding trims, I used to feel the same until I started straightening my hair regularly. Since regularly trimming my hair, I find that it is growing back healthier, whereas before I had length but super thin ends.

Sahara: I’m glad you made this video because ngl been searching everywhere for a British influencer with type 4 hair to do this style. I’m also tired of wigs I just wanna get a silk press but I know my natural hair is short and thinner when pressed.

zahra: You do not need to trim your hair if there are no split ends. If you are finding your hair is splitting continuously, you might want to review your hair care routine.

Esther: I’m so proud of the woman you’re becoming. It is inspiring- you are just loving yourself more and more.

Sinitta Cato: I’m so glad you tried this, not going to lie I didn’t even know they made tape ins for kinky hair so I’m too excited. I’m doing some research because I want this done. It looks so natural on you love it

Sunethra: You look so happy, makes me happy. Hope your natural hair grows and continues to be healthy. Your self care is paying off. Skin is glowing! <3

distiNCT NCTzen: leave outs have BEEEEN the wave, its the best of both worlds srsly !!! also just treat it as if it’s your own hair, you can yank it, put it in water anything, its really easy to fix and it’s hard to damage it from this everyday things anyways

Kay Ade: Yep! It should be kinky curls for type 4 hair. I wish the Black ladies who go on shows like Love Island get this instead of wigs. It's more natural looking, very versatile and easier to manage.

ShanTheFilmGeek: Love the tape ins I’m sick of wigs too, tape ins might be the way to go!

Sherreen Golding: Hey deola, I’m loving the natural glow, smoothness and complexion of your skin.x Glad you’re finding wigless alternatives so your hair can grow.x I rarely style my hair with heat or tugging but I do wash it every 3 weeks, use hot oil treatments and take my vitamins everyday. In between washes I use Cream of Nature leaving conditioner spray to revive my hair and scalp, and Kera Care products to moisturise… my hair has grown past my shoulders.x

the seven: I love watching your vids particularly on bad days just to feel more confident and productive ily girl!

SHAKORA DOMINGO: I’m addicted!your hair looks so good, after watching this Ive spent so much time looking at natural tape in for videos

Ana: Looks so cute up in the ponytail! Tape ins proper suit you I wanna get them even more now

Shanice Buckley: I found tapes very uncomfortable and inflexible. I have afro hair and have microring and I go to Vixen and Blush. They provide the hair and the results are incredible!! They also last 3 months

Amaani: OMG THESE TAPE INS ARE THE BEST THING UVE DONE looks amazing and natural!!

Michiko: Girl you look amazing love it and your video's as always

AdeeBrown: The tape ins look so good

Ely Imafidon: You’re really tempting me to get tape-ins now!

Toniaaa: your skin is GORGEOUS

The1stDominant: There is no need to trim unless you NEED a trim so even if that’s 7 months then don’t !

Chioma Nwano: Love the tapes and I really wanna try it out! Could you share where you got the tape ins and also the stylist? Thank you

Hadesina: Trims every month, even every couple months is not necessary. I get my hair trimmed probably once a year and it’s fine. Constantly cutting your hair is going to halt the growth
