Hey booze, this is madame a francier or holland, as most of you guys know me by now um, so i'm here i want to give you guys an update on the hair that i got from studio, tequila the tape in here. So i got the hair. I ordered it, i think in december um and i did my install in january. So it's been what like three months, i have installed the hair twice in that time and wore it about anywhere from four to five weeks, maybe more um each time on her website. She does say that the the tape-ins can last anywhere between eight to twelve weeks. I personally cannot keep a hairstyle in that long, just because i like to change it up, switch it up all the time, so you know wearing these. For you know, four or five weeks was a stretch for me too anyway, um the first time that i put the hair in, and it was pretty simple to to put in you know as a diy, especially as a first timer, which i do a video for It so i'll post that link to the video in the description, but it was super easy to put in, and i wore my hair mostly in wash and goes, and i had no trouble with shampooing my hair, deep conditioning, my hair. I didn't have any trouble with any slipping and the hair. When i went to take the hair down, it was a little um, i don't say complicated, but it was. It was kind of tough taking it down um, because, even though i had been washing my hair deep conditioning like maybe once a week, there was no slippage like this hair was not going anywhere. It was in there um. So i don't like that can be a pro for people who can wear their hair, for you know, eight to twelve weeks without the urge to you know, change it out. So that is a pro for sure um and i did get it out. I got some tape and remover from amazon from the hair shop which i'll post a link to for you all uh. Then it's an alcohol-based uh solution and it says it's gentle on hair, rapid release and dissolves residue see, and then you use this. You pour it in between the two sandwiches, so this is two tapers together. You would pour this in between and then let it sit for. You know a couple of seconds just to let it start working and then you're able to gently. Take the tape ends out and then, if you have any residue or any glue from the tape, ins or tape left on your hair, you can use you can use this or you can use coconut oil, which is what i did the first time around. Just to help kind of get it all out of my hair um, so i don't know that i knew it was coming when i did my research on tapings. So i i wouldn't want you to be discouraged from trying them and, like i said, if you can wear a hair, you know hairstyle for eight to twelve weeks without you know the urge to to take it out or change it. Then it's for sure a pro um when it was time to redo my hair. I had decided that i wanted to do half amount of what i originally put in i put in about 40 sandwiches last time, so the second time around i did because i didn't want as much volume i just wanted to have a little more fullness to my Regular wash and gos - and i also trimmed the hair, so i i want to say this is originally like 26 inches, and so i trimmed it to blend it in a little bit more with my natural hair, i also put some color on my hair and the Tape ends, but very little like i didn't it wasn't drastic or dramatic at all. It was just like a hint, a color like implied um, but it took the color fine. It didn't loosen the curl at all. This is the exact exotic curly hair. So it didn't loosen it, it stayed um if i didn't want to lift it to make it lighter and make the um highlights more noticeable. Then definitely you need to let the bleach sit longer on it, but it did not change the quality of the hair at all also when it was time to put them back in and like i said, i did half the amount that i did last time. Second time around doing it, you know on myself it was pretty pretty easy breezy, because i knew what i was doing by now. I have my groove and um to re-tape the tape in because you have to use brand new tape um. I got some off of amazon, the lady from studio tequila. She actually, i asked her on her instagram. You know what she suggests and she suggested walkers taping, which i'll post a link to in my description box as well. So i was able to clean these with the solution to take off any residue and then once they were dry and clean and after i shampooed the hair and conditions, i was able to just put new tape on with no problem and then applied them to my Hair and again about four to five weeks and when it was time to take down, i put this on. I left it on a little bit longer than the first time and i had absolutely no problem taking them out. I also had no problem with any slipping as well, and i mostly wore my hair in wash and goes, and maybe two braids and ponytails, so i'm very impressed and pleased with my experience with this hair and um. What i found, though, with my hair, i'm about a 3b 3c and as the days go with my wash and goes, my hair tends to kind of straighten a little more and get you know more wavy. So i would like to try the um her just curly, hair or curly tape, ins that might be a vibe that i'll go for later um right now i am doing protective styling, so this is a wig that i have on. Obviously, i'm doing protective styling right now, just to give my hair a break, because you guys want to remember that take-ins are not a protective style, your hair will be out. You will be manipulating it and messing with it and if you are all about healthy hair growth and hair care, then you'll want to keep that in mind and also give your hair a break. And that was one of the reasons why i didn't you know want to keep them in, for eight to twelve weeks is because i wanted to be able to let my natural hair rest, but yes, i definitely recommend this hair. I love it. I had no problems with it, everything that she said that it would do on on her website and on her youtube channel. It does and i have no complaints, so i say it's another thing. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns in the comments, but thank you all for tuning. In
