Hey you guys, it's ivy i've been wanting to share this news with you guys for the longest, but we'll get into that a little bit later. First, yes, this is a traditional sew in you guys. I was going to do tape ends, but i just kept going back and forth from my mind about them. I'M so big on protective styling and honestly me wearing tape ends is not a protective style like all of my hair would have been out. Basically, tape ins remind me of tracks, but like a upgraded version of tracks, um, i can't type in tracks. In between my hair, i already tried those micro links, micro beads and i hated them. Okay, i hated them. So i personally think that tape, ins and micro links and beads, i feel like they're for textures one two and three. If your texture is in the four like me, i just feel like it causes us so much turmoil and stress, like literally literally you guys when i had those micro links, it was the worst experience like it looks good, but it's not a good experience. So i'm sticking to what i know with a middle part bust down 30 inches, and the good news i want to tell you guys about earlier - is that i did these extensions with my own hair. Okay, it's very long overdue um! It'S i don't even know. I don't know why i haven't done this sooner. It'S just it's extremely hard to source raw hair. I finally found a raw vendor um for indian straight, and i love it. You guys this is some of the prettiest hair. I'Ve ever had it's full. It'S thick. It'S like butter, it's literally like silky butter and it matches my natural hair. So good like this, is my hair. I'Ll show you guys. This is my hair here, okay, you can see my trash. This is the indian straight hair. It is raw virgin hair, and this is the luster hope. Let me turn it up. This is the luster on the hair. The luster on the hair is very nice. Let me show you guys the ends now i haven't trimmed the ends yet so this is how they will look. I literally just finished my hair and i love it now. I was going to go in and cut layers and such, but i don't even think i'm going to layer it. I think i'm going to leave these bundles just straight. Silky 30. Inches like this is going to be my go-to hair. Whenever i want this look, but i wanted to just come on here and share with you guys, because if i didn't - and you guys seen me with this sew-in y'all gon na keep asking me what hair it is. So i had to literally tell you i didn't want to tell you guys what i have to tell you, so how i did this natural sew in was literally my same method. I'M going to show you guys just some clips of my hair throughout the process. This is not going to be a full tutorial. If you guys want a full tutorial, i will have that link below um. This is just just a little overview kind of like just showing you guys what i'm doing with my hair, so um yeah stay tuned. For that, i'm gon na do a few slow-mo okay, so you guys can get a better feeling, okay guys. So what we have right here is our braided base. Now i didn't braid my hair too too. Neat um. I like to keep my braids kind of neat, but not too tight, because i am going to use a weaving net and i like, if my braids are too tight and i have the net on and i'm sewing the hair on. It'S going to be extreme tension. So i like to do my braids a little bit looser, you guys can see they're kind of big it's kind of loose and i just did um. I just did them all going like this and they're connected in the back and um. You just want to make sure you have your really tight and secure perimeter braid, which is going to be around your head, and then this is my leave out in the top. So not that much leave out at all. You guys, like the tiniest amount, and then i have this right here - is leave out as well. I was gon na make this a sew in with um a ponytail, but i decided not to do that last minute, because um, i'm gon na keep this in probably most of the summer, and i just don't want to deal with the leave out in the back And a whole bunch of leave out right here, because that was my whole thing for not doing the tapings is because i want a protective style. I already have to worry about my leave out. I want to be held responsible for more hair than this, and this is probably a little bit more than i actually leave out um most of the time yeah. I probably leave out a little bit less hair than this. I actually left out too much this time, but that's okay, because, as my hair grow out, um it's easier to cover my tracks when it's a little bit more hair left out what i'm! What i'm gon na do is go ahead and sew on my weaving net, and this is the only piece i have left and it's a little bit small, but i'm gon na make it do what it do. The type of needle and thread i use. I use um nylon thread just because i feel like nylon thread, doesn't break my hair off and it's more secure and i don't have to use as much of it, and i also like to use a um. Is this called a c curve? I think it's called a c curve needle, but not the super c. I guess it's like an open c curve. I don't know how to explain it, but when you go to b supply store, this is the type of needle you want, because also you guys, when you're doing a protective style. You want to make sure to put some type of drops or treatment on your scalp and i like to use the um generic um scalp treatment. I get this from sally's and i've been using this since last year, when i got colded - and i will honestly say - i think this really helped grow my hair back and keep it from all shedding out so uh. So, whenever i'm doing a style that i'm going to keep in for a while - and i can't necessarily go in and wash my scalp - i definitely put this on my scalp. I really think it helps keep it healthy. It also keeps it from shedding a whole lot. So yeah, you definitely don't want to um miss putting something into your scalp, and this just comes out. Kind of this comes out kind of like a like a gulp, it's okay. If my leave out gets in it, i'm gon na wash my leave out anyway. I definitely like to saturate this area a lot, because this is where i lost some hair some years ago, and it's like the thinnest area of my hair definitely definitely definitely pick up some of this from sally's beauty, because it's it's real good y'all. So our net is sewed in so the hair. We'Re installing today is virgin indian raw hair, and this is the straight texture. Okay, and these are your wefts okay, this is one bundle, and this bundle right here is a 28 inch bundle. Okay and i'm gon na install, i believe, i'm gon na need, like four bundles and i'm doing two bundles of 30 inch, i'm doing two bundles of 30 inch and then i'm doing um. Two bundles of 28.. I'Ve been on the hunt this whole year sourcing, different textures. I really enjoy raw version hair. That'S definitely gon na be um. One of my specialties - hey guys so i've already started sewing and what i like to do is make sure my track is underneath i'm really hoping you guys can see this because i don't know if i'm in frame and um yeah. Basically you just want to. I started up here and i'm just going to sew it across and i'm sorry you guys. I can't do a live sewing today, because i don't have my three-way mirror but yeah, you just sew it across there and then you just continue with your tracks. Okay, okay, guys, so i am done with the sew-in okay, thank god like it took forever. So this is our leave out right here i wash and blow down my weave out and what i'm gon na do now is use my tiny flat irons and i'm gon na use my regular flat, irons and um. I love these um to do my edges. They'Re considered, these are considered uh pencil flat irons, but what i like to do with these are my roots, because obviously i can't blow dry straight my roots, so i just like to hit my roots with this um. So i'm just gon na part off a little section and hit hit my roots with it crazy. So we got our edges nice and straight. I love this thing and i got my little dry scalp going right. There um, you guys. I don't know why my scalp is so dry um, but i'm just gon na part off smaller sections and then begin the flat iron um, and now i'm going to use my babyliss pro. This is my favorite flat iron and i like to use it on 410. I really use 375, but because i'm doing a super silk look, we did we're doing 410 and i literally only have to do one pass because i've already um made my hair straight with my blow dryer. Okay, so that's the blend! You guys it blends really good. I feel like i feel like it matches so well, my own hair texture. So that's one side, you guys, i really don't know if i want to curl this or if i want to just like silk it out, um i'll, probably just straighten it because y'all. I, like my extensions like straight like i really don't care for them to be. Like super curled, i am going to curl this hair, though just so you guys can see it curl. What i'm going to do you guys is um finish flat ironing and i'm going to do this other side and i'll be right back yeah, you guys so i've soaked it out. Um everything looks so nice and so natural. I love it glossy glossy shiny. I absolutely love my hair and my extensions, i'm thinking if i want to open it to where i can have some beta testers, you guys get everything at a super discounted price um. Let me know in the comments below, if you're interested in being a beta tester. I think i would need about five to ten people um just to test out my different textures i'm gon na have, but for now you will be testing out straight okay, but yeah. I love his hair, so i ended up stuffing four and a half bundles. In my head, i had to double them um, so this is what was left, but i could have easily gotten away with uh just a solid four bundles. If i wanted to be cheap, we could do three bundles, because the hair is so thick and full like y'all. It is it's so much hair. So yeah you guys, i believe, that's it for today's video. I just wanted to share that quick little information with you guys and just show you my updated sewing. It'S basically the same as what it's always been. I will link below a more in-depth video. Just so you guys can see. You know see me sew my hair and slowly see how i stitch and all that good stuff. I remember you guys to like the video it's free. It helps me so much you guys. It helps push me through the algorithm. Please please, please, like this video. If you liked it make sure you comment below and subscribe, and i will talk to you guys in the next video
