Install Tapeins Like A Pro! Proper Install, No Damage |Curlsqueen|

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, i'm janae nichols in case you are new in this video, i'm going to be showing you guys how i installed tape ins. So these tape ins are from curls queen it's a light. Yaki 22 inch and i do have 80 pieces, so this is my model for the day i would say her. Hair is medium to thick. Her hair is very full all around the perimeter of her hair, which is so good. The reason is good is because she's able to wear her hair up in a high ponytail or a bun without any of the tape showing this texture is perfect because it matches her hair, texture and density very well. You guys will see in the end that it just looks perfect. So when i do my tape ins, i use my comb and basically, if i can see the silver part of my comb, i can most likely see the tape. So i make sure i section out to where i can't see the comb as you guys will see, and then i will take a tape and i will place it directly on the hair. I do leave a little bit of space just so it's not uncomfortable when they go to put it up or wear it down. So when you do tape ins, if it's sticking out or not super flat, it will hurt your client and potentially cause damage to their hair. So be very careful about that. Honestly, i would not recommend that you guys do this at home, i'm just showing you guys how i do it on my clients, i mean if his hair stylist, watching you can definitely do this technique on your clients, but as far as at home, i just wouldn't Because you can't see the back of your head and you don't really want to cause damage to your hair, it's not worth it! So when i do tape ins, like i said, i place it directly on the hair, leaving a little bit of space, and then i flip it up. I clean up whatever is underneath the tape with my comb and then i stick down the other piece and when i stick down the other piece, i'm making sure to line it up perfectly. You don't want to do it off center or not match it up, because then it won't last as long so tape ins normally last about six to eight weeks, they're, not like micro lengths where you can come in and get it tightened when it's time to. I guess maintenance marker lengths are like whenever they get old, you do have to actually take them out. You can reuse the hair. You just would remove the old tape wash the hair and then place new tape and you're ready for a whole new install - and i say six to eight weeks, not saying that it's going to come out of your hair. It'S just that that how much your hair will grow in that time, you'll be able to see the tape on eight weeks, which is two months. Your hair would have grown out to where the tapes are very noticeable and to remove the tapes is really easy. I would still recommend going to your stylus to get them removed. I would not remove them at home. Just so. You don't cause any damage to your hair because it can happen, but for remover you can use oil or you can use the bold hold lace remover. They also sell tape and remover on amazon. Really you can use anything that is like oil based or alcohol based, and they should slip right out, but still be very careful and once they are out make sure you comb through your hair, so you're getting the glue off of your hair before you wash because You don't want to cause any tangles or anything, and then i will clarify shampoo, my hair, just because the tapes have probably been in your hair for a while and then deep condition. Now as far as this hair, again, it is from curls queen 22 inches light. Yaki and y'all, this hair is everything it matches her hair perfectly. It holds a curl. I really experience no shedding no tangles. I did wash this hair beforehand, but it didn't come with an odor. It smelled, really nice. So so those are all pluses and the tape is very strong, so for tape ends. You definitely want to make sure that the tape you're using is strong. You want it to stain your client's hair, you don't want it to be slipping out the next day, and i can say this tape is strong, so i would definitely recommend it.
