Using Hair Extensions For The First Time

Hey welcome back to mama tried, i'm juliet and today i'm going to be trying hair extensions for the first time in my life, so the brand full shine actually reached out to me and wanted to partner up on today's video. So i am so happy to be working with them. They sent me some tape in extensions and some clip in extensions, and i have no idea what i'm doing so. This is the perfect unboxing review. Try on situation ever because i am brand new to this game. So let me show you everything that they sent me here. Are the clip-in extensions that they sent me. So this is everything that was in the box. So it's just the extensions themselves. I got the 22 inch ones in this color 18p613 and i'm really excited to be trying these out. They also sent some tape in extensions which i'll be putting in the clip-ins to make them fuller, so i got them in the same color and then 22 inches again all right. So now i'm just going to open up the packaging. I'M going to start with the clip-ins, so this is the packaging that it comes in and then there's just like a button on the bottom and then here are the extensions they're in like a little netted thing. I guess to protect them. Oh boy, i'm gon na have some super long hair. Hopefully i'll get this to work out. We'Re gon na see, though we're gon na see i'm gon na look like a princess. So there's, like some plastic pieces right here, so i'm just gon na cut those off like bands to keep them together. I laid out all of the clip in extensions. These come in like little double clips, so i'm assuming these are for the like the sides, and then these come in three clips and then this one has four clips. So i'm assuming this one would go like the crown of my head like the back part, and then these would go like following that, and then these are for the sides so, like i said, i'm new to this. So hopefully this looks great. I'M just going to start taping the other extensions in here and then for the tape in extensions i'm going to take them out of the packaging, for you guys too, a hair net. It'S so pretty when it just like falls out seems legit. I'M gon na put them inside of these. I'M just gon na pretend, like i know what i'm doing. Okay, so i'm pretty sure i'm pretty sure that you just like tape it right here underneath so that way, you can't see it and then i think you have to like heat it up to make it stick really well or like bond on there. So, let's see okay and then i'm gon na take my straightener and just kind of like oh yeah, okay, i think i'm gon na put another one in the middle now it's time for placement now that i've got all the tape in there and honestly, i feel, Like that was really easy, like a little too easy, so i'm going to kind of like part off my hair and attempt to put them in it may take me a couple of tries to get it right but yeah. Let'S do it so i'm just gon na like go for it. I'M gon na put one of these little three ones in the back and you just kind of like. I look like a bird you just kind of like it's pretty easy. Okay, now i'm just gon na put her in there. You know and then pop it back in. Oh that was real easy. I don't know if they're in there well but they're in there. Okay, so i've got those in and yeah now i'm gon na do this go a little higher up, maybe not that high like right here now i look less like a bird, so i'm gon na put this three clippy one in the back of my hair again And hopefully it's gon na cover up my bad job from last time. Yeah i'm gon na put two in on these sides. Should i hmm i'm gon na try these i'm gon na have a full on full head of hair y'all. Okay, that's too close to the front. Look at me acting like i know what i'm talking about now. Okay, all right so got some hair in you know. Let me try the other side. That'S not that's kind of not where i'm wanting it. I want it up higher there. We go okay, since i did that on that side, i'm gon na do it on this side too. Okay, i got more in this, is so the wrong length. I'M definitely gon na have to cut these okay. Then i'm gon na do this again. Okay, now this little four piecer, i'm gon na attempt it it's kind of intimidating me, but i'm gon na attempt it oops, i'm just gon na undo them all. You know i may okay, so i'm gon na start here. This is really simple. I don't know if i'm doing it right, like i said, but it's pretty simple now she's covered okay holy guacamole. Why did i think that this length was? I totally have to cut these, maybe not - maybe not. Maybe i can disguise it. No, this isn't disguisable. These are way too long. Let me who do. I think i am a mermaid okay. So what i'm gon na do now is cry. I'M just kidding, but really i i need to cut these. These are too long. I think i don't know, maybe maybe they're not. I just need to curl my hair. So let me curl my hair. I'M going to cut these, so i'm just going to cut them straight up, just cut them - and i know this is frowned upon. I know that it is, but my daughter doesn't nap for very long. Okay and i need to get this done so yeah. It'S a little better. Okay, so now doesn't look a little yeah. It looks a little better to me so now i'm going to curl my hair. I absolutely love these hair extensions, i'm gon! Na be honest. I was skeptical and i think it was because i haven't used anything like this ever before. I'Ve never put any hair that wasn't my hair in my hair. You know, except for like those cheap extensions you get like from claire's when i was like 12 or something but other than that i've, never even dabbled in this type of work. So i think that the whole process was very easy. The extensions themselves are super soft and just beautiful, and i think they blend in really well, they curled really easily, which means they would just style really easily. I think, and i didn't have to like reapply and mess with it a lot i don't know, but that's the end of today's video.
