What'S up youtube, it's your girl melissa! Coming back at you with another product review in today's video, i will be going over an unboxing for mac, full extensions. In addition to doing an unboxing, i'm also going to be doing a little bit of a getting ready with me, i'm going to be installing the extensions and then figuring out how i'd like to style them based on how they turn out now disclaimer. I have not even opened this box yet so we are going to truly get to experience this together. I am a little nervous because the box is kind of small and i wasn't really expecting that and it feels really light when i showed my boyfriend yesterday, the box with the extensions came in and i let him feel the weight of the box he's like. Is there anything in there - and i'm like i hope so this extension set is supposed to be much less hair in total volume than what my lucky hair extensions were. If you haven't checked out that video yet check that out here. So this is really just going to be designed to add a little bit more body and fullness and dimension to my existing hair. It is a 16 inch set and it is 110 grams. I hope that this works out before we get started. Well, that's nice! I mean hi, i'm a little. I am a little stressed, so this is what came in the box. I don't know how much hair that is, but it doesn't look like a lot and it doesn't feel very heavy. I'M also a little concerned about the color it kind of has like a stripy vibe um. Well, we can try right. I guess, if i'm not happy i'll i'll reach out, at least it seems like they have good customer service. So, oh yeah, that's very streaky, and i was a little nervous about that when i ordered it. Full disclosure like i saw that it had streaks. So what i was attempting to do is like i have a belayage and i was sort of trying to like break that up a little bit and just give it more of like a highlight look without actually having to get highlights. So my goal was to give my you know: existing hair a little bit more body a little bit more fullness, especially towards the ends, as my hair starts to thin out from all of the belayage treatments that i've had, and you know i wanted to add some Dimension to the bottom, so that it wasn't like dark to blonde, i wanted to have it kind of piecy, so i guess we'll find out if that's gon na work or not, i am optimistic. Like i said, i have no idea how i'm gon na even style. This, when i'm done the good thing, though, is these extensions - are 100 remy hair, so they can be heat styled and everything like that. So that's good and, like i said this is a seven piece weft, so not a ton of wax in here, but i'll be honest with you. The hair feels really really nice for what i paid for it. Oh yeah and they're way: prettier when you take it out. Oh yeah, i'm gon na. Like this sorry, i had no idea what to expect so literally like all of these are extremely authentic reactions. I really like this, so i paid around 70 for this, and if you really wanted to get more fullness to your hair, you could obviously buy an additional set, and so you'd be looking at, like 140 150 after taxes to get like a full set of really Nice, hair, i mean guess i'll, have to see how it holds up with like washing drying styling, but right now it feels really really luxurious. So that makes me really happy, but without further ado, let's get into styling and installing this hair. Okay guys. So you are behind me so that you can actually see what's going on in the back of my head, but i will be talking to you through my mirror. So hopefully this angle works for you and you can see how to install the extensions in case. Maybe this is your first time and maybe you're stumbling on this video, because you don't know how to install extensions all right guys, so i am just going to just take a quick glance at how much hair are on these wefts. This is really gorgeous. I am shocked, actually um. I was not expecting them to look this nice now they're by no means the thickest extensions in the world. I could imagine that if i got two sets, this would be more than adequate to fill my hair and make it just look like gorgeous. I think that this is really going to make it look pretty, but i guess we'll find out for sure in a minute. I don't know about you guys, but i am ready for spring and summer and i am ready for this corona to be over. This is interesting, so just doing some inventory here and i am discovering that okay, so there's one four clip left. There are two three clip wefts. There are three two clip wefts and there's only one one clip left. So that's a little odd because, generally you want to do the same thing on both sides of your head. Um. Well, that's weird, but i'm going to roll with it. So first step you're going to want to start at the nape of your neck, so you're going to want to start kind of down here and make a part and i'm going to let you guys know right now that this part is probably going to be horrible, Because i am used to doing this with a mirror behind me and i don't have the ability to do that if i want to show you so just take the hair and put that up, i'm gon na start with the first three clip weft extension etiquette is Just to kind of lightly brush from the bottom upward, so the clips are pretty good quality, and i really like that. This is like a seamless weft, because some of the lower cost extensions that i've purchased in the past have been really thick and then they're visible and that's not fun guys. I have no idea what's going on back here, so hopefully i'm not failing the nice thing is like, if you guys are intimidated by installing extensions, don't be first of all, it's not like you're gluing them in you can just unclip it and fix it, but also, If you don't like how it looks you can adjust it, you can unclip it put it in a different place, so don't be intimidated by this process, because it is really not that bad we're gon na go another row. This is quite difficult to make sure that you guys can see and that my arms aren't in the way. So i apologize if it's awkward, it would be really nice to have a camera person, but i need more fans. I need more of you guys to watch my videos and follow me and subscribe to my channel before i can do that. So help assist that out all right, i'm gon na go in with the second three clip weft. I'M actually like really excited about these extensions guys. I was not sure when i ordered them if i was gon na like them, because they looked really stripey and i was sort of nervous that i was gon na have like 90s stripy hair and it was stressing me out, but i'm already really enjoying how. This looks so i don't know how it looks from back there, but from up here it's looking: okay, okay, maxwell! I see you, i can tell i'm in a booty mood again today. This should be fun all right, so the next step is going to be the four clip weft. So i'm going to pull another section of hair down and again guys these parts are probably a disaster. Typically, i would be you know, being able to view the back of my head to be able to see the part, and i am just basically taking chunks of hair down and hoping for the best. I would love if any of you guys have tried this brand. So let us know in the comments what you think i love my luxie extensions, but they're really pricey and i didn't want to spend that much on another set of extensions since i already have you know two different sets from them, so i was looking for a More affordable option - and this is what i landed on and so far i am not regretting that. So there is a little hack guys. If you want to install extensions a little faster, you can actually clip two extension wefts on top of each other and maybe i'll show that in a in a future video. But you can actually clip them to each other and then clip the one piece in so that you can avoid having to do multiple rows and get still a full look um. I don't recommend doing that if you have thinner hair because sometimes it's visible, but that is one other strategy like if you're short on time in the morning getting ready and you want to get her done all right, look at her okay. So now i am going in with my two clip left, all three of them and my one click left i sort of feel like it might have been an accident. They probably meant to send me two to clip and two singles, but i'm rolling with it. Maybe i'll contact their customer service and i asked them to send me one more of the babies because i feel like this is super necessary for like the front. But next we're gon na go to the side and just make a part in the front close. The hair and from here we're just going to kind of place it here and kind of want to get as close to the part as possible. Oh man, this one's this clip doesn't want to clip. Clips are a little finicky, but there we go. I got it. Okay, i really appreciate you guys hanging out with me um yeah. This isn't gon na work. Um. Let me see if i can get it any tighter without ripping my hair out yeah. Okay, so i don't know if you guys can see that, but not loving. That - and it might just be like it was bundled and wrapped up in a little ball, but that might be visible, we'll see, i'm gon na just keep on rolling here, keep on with the keeping on make a part on the side here. Another two clippy. I am so far really quite happy. I was hella nervous like for real guys when i got that box and it was so light. I was stressed because i'm like oh no, these are gon na, be light and thin and see-through okay. I do this all the time guys and i still have to like play with it a little to like get it right, because sometimes you end up putting the track on top of another track and that doesn't work. Okay, yeah that one's got a good thing done. So prime example right put in the left, it doesn't like me so i have to go in and at least i can maybe try to nope. It'S got to get rid of it. I got a rat's nest here, so that can happen. Sometimes, when you are installing the extensions, what happens, is you go in to try to like place the extension but you're actually placing it in a different place on your head, but it's running into one of the other wefts like the three or four clip left in The back, and so when that happens like right now you can see this is going to line up right with the extension weft that i'm trying to put in. So what i might end up having to do is go a little lower with this one, and that is typically not something that you want to do with extensions, because you want them to be even, but they won't be because i have a one clip and a Two clip so we're gon na roll here and i'm gon na put it a little lower on this side so that i can get it in there good and then i will figure that out later all right, oh yeah! This is looking hot okay, like not kidding guys. These extensions are shockingly good like for reals. I am. I have to turn around for this guys. These extensions are like bomb.com was not expecting it at all. I actually thought it was going to be a huge fail, but shout out to maxwell for being unexpectedly amazing, moving on i'm gon na put my little individual one on this side, because my part is a little farther over to the side. So there's already gon na be more hair over here, so this side needs a little less hair, so some of these clips are a little temperamental. I don't love that. I live with that, though, like as long as they don't totally break okay. This one doesn't like me: oh that barely went in that's pretty i'm excited, so the final left we're gon na put on this side. Usually you wan na go one and a half to two inches from the part, and that also depends a lot on how thick your natural hair is, because you definitely don't want these to show, and this one still has that little bump that we were kind of Worried about on the other one, so don't want that too close to the top, because it could reveal itself and that would not be fun. Your hair should look natural and you don't want. We don't want the the bumps and the humps. I'Ve got all the extensions in guys like. I am really impressed holy cannoli. It looks like it grows out of my head. Wow, i'm shook shook guys. I am so so so impressed by maxwell extensions. I can't even describe how relieved that i am. I would never, in my life have thought that i could order extensions on amazon and they would feel this nice and like just blend so well. I really like took a leap of faith with this because i didn't want to spend like two three hundred dollars on a set of extensions. So 70 bucks was like my my max that i was willing to like take the risk and it paid off for reals. So i'm gon na go ahead and just do a quick flat iron through my hair. Then i'm gon na get going with my day. So to start off, i'm just gon na brush my hair a little bit go in and i have my heat setting. Obviously, the lowest that it can be for this heat tool. Usually, you want to kind of be in that, like 250 to 300 range for extensions just to keep them nice they're human hair, so they can handle heat, but you don't want to ruin them all right guys. So this is the finished product she's party. I would love to hear what you guys think in the comments below. Let me know what you think of the finished product. I absolutely love them. I think they are extremely high quality, especially for the money. So a couple of things that i would say like pluses and minuses maxwell is definitely gon na get my money the next time. I need just a pair of extensions to help add additional volume to my hair, i didn't add any length. So i think that that makes a huge difference, because you can get away with a little bit more when you're not trying to add length, so they blend really really well because they're my hair length. So that was a plus for me. If you have significantly shorter hair than me, i don't know if you would get the same outcome, i will say that they are high quality extensions. The wefts are a little thinner for the price. You could easily buy two sets and have really really full hair. If you really wanted to do that, the first advantage, obviously would be that it's a really fair price. The other thing that i really really like is that the wefts are seamless and they do lay really flat to the head, with the exception of those little lumps and bumps that i mentioned, would you know flatten out with time i had just pulled them out of The bundle and they were wrapped together, so i don't think, that's any fault of maxwell whatsoever. I just think that it'll take some time for those to even out they'll, probably even out while they're on my head, and i can't see them so i guess no harm. No foul, the one thing that i thought was a little odd is that they sent me three two clip wefts and one one clip left. I think that was a little weird and two of the clips gave me a hard time when i was actually trying to close them so in time i guess we'll find out if the clips cause more problems or if they stop working all together. I don't think i'm gon na have a problem. I just think the clips are just a little bit tougher than the luxie here ones that i have. I would say, like the odd number of clips and the fact that a couple of the clips were a little tougher, are probably the only two small drawbacks that i actually discovered. The other really amazing thing is they came super fast yeah. I think that about wrongs. It up, i don't really think, there's anything else to say if i have an update for you guys after washing or you know, using them for a period of time if the quality doesn't hold up i'll.
