Boxycharm Feb 21 Unboxing+ Amazon Halo Hair Extensions Reviews!

Hey guys, what's up how's, everybody doing, i hope, you're all having a wonderful day if you're new, my name is brandi and i like to do mainly dumpster, diving stuff, especially around like beauty products. So if you're into that kind of stuff, anything beauty then consider subscribing. Stick around give this video a thumbs up if you enjoy it and all that all right, but so today's video is actually going to be my boxy charm unboxing for february 2021, and this is the base box. I didn't open it. I just uh, you know, cut the tape, but before i do that, i wanted to let you guys know: i've been very interested in something lately, so i wanted to get your guys input and all that extensions. My hair is thin and it's like a little past. My shoulders, i've been really wanting to try extensions, i've tried clip-ins and they just i couldn't. If they didn't look right, i couldn't do it. I think they weren't very good either. So maybe that's why and they're really thin. So i don't know i just couldn't. Do it so anyways i've been looking into getting them like bonded, but then i seen something different and it's the like. It'S the halo, hair extensions. Please let me know in the comments, if you guys have heard of them if you've tried them. Let me know how it's going and all that so basically, i ordered the amazing beauty, hair extension um, the halo hair extension was like 110 or something like that off at amazon, and i also ordered a ten dollar one from sarla, because i i don't, i kind Of wanted to just compare and see like the difference and all that, so i just thought i'd show you them real fast um. I don't usually like show my face on camera, but i will insert a picture of me wearing each one. Just so you can see what it looks like um. I couldn't show a picture of the back because i'm by myself - and i have no one to like - take the picture - i have a son but he's a teenager he's not gon na make him do that. So i just want to show you real, quick, okay. So the amazing beauty - this is what it comes in this box. Like i said this is like 110 115. You can get it off amazon or you can go on their website and i think they're, having like a bunch of valentine's day, discounts too right now. So you want to do that and when you open it up, it comes i'm going to show you the extensions in a minute, but it comes in. It gives you a bag to put them in a silk bag. It comes in like a hair net. It gives you a little um card, amazing beauty and just shows you how to do everything like how to um adjust it the wire and how to if you need to rewire it, because it gives you extra wiring and all the stuff you need. It even gives you clips, which i really want to try these to help it make it more secure, and it gives you a clip to hold your hair up when you put it in and then the most important thing is um one of these combs i've totally Got ta just rat tail, i lost my dream. I lost forgot what kind and a rat tail comb. So this is everything you get in there and i think it even says like it's just like questions, but i usually look up on youtube. I'Ve seen lots of reviews about these halo extensions. An amazing beauty was a brand i kept coming across like the quality and all that was good because the actual halo couture brand, who came up with these - maybe i don't know if they did so don't quote me, but they're like very expensive, like 500 to 700, Depending how long you want it, so i wanted a cheaper version, but not like cheap. You know so yeah. So let me just show you. I got 20 inches because i was like. I want them really long and i totally got them too long, but this is them and it's a dead match for my hair color. So i will say that they are. You can see they're so long and it's very silky and it feels very nice. It'S a hundred percent remy hair human hair. It says so i'm new i've never really worn extensions like i said so. I'M new to this whole thing, but i these are very nice and they're. They are like. I want it like kind of thicker. I didn't want really thin. Some of them were just kind of flimsy thin looking. I think it depends on like the grams, so i want it like at least a hundred. I think this is 100 or 120, i'm not sure, but hopefully you can um, i'm just putting on this, so that they, like hang nice, but let me take them off. Let me just show you so yeah, so here's like the wire and you pretty much just set this on your head. The wire would be like two inches from your um hair, like your forehead, like on your hairline, and then you just set this on the back, and then you just pull your hair out on top of the wire, and it just lays there now the problem. I'Ve been having is, i can't, get it to fit and it does adjust. I couldn't figure out how to adjust it forever and i finally did, but once you i guess, once you have it so you just like yeah, you pull it, which one either bigger or shorter. I'M sorry i couldn't and first i couldn't figure it out at first, but i finally see if i can see bigger and shorter okay and you see it like curled in like that. So i got it, but then it'll stretch right back out when i like put it on because you got ta obviously like tie it in a knot here and then cut the extra string off. But i didn't want to do that yet until i know exactly the size, i don't know, i think i'm gon na go to a salon and have them um. Let me get this bigger again and have them like size it for me and help me because to get the the actual halo ones you have to go to one of their salons. You can't even like order it online. That'S what i was, which i'm kind of glad, because i was going to do it and like i said that was like 400 or something. But you can't you got to go to a salon, so they can measure you and do it so yeah, i'm going to insert a picture of me wearing these and you'll see that the color match is perfect. These and you'll see that the color match is perfect. My hair is kind of short, so i definitely i didn't curl it and blend it all together and nothing. Yet i'm just showing you when i first put it on and the only problem is it felt kind of loose, but they have those extra clips. So i got to figure out how to put them on. I think, with like two clips: it'll feel so much better um. I watched bailey saryan's video on these and she, the her hairdresser, who puts them in put actually bobby pins so like, but she called them. You bin you bobby pins, not the actual regular ones, they're like shaped like a you, and she just put two of them like on top of each other, to secure them. So if you don't have clips, you can do that and bailey said they were much better. I felt better after watching her video because she was having the same issues where it didn't feel secure. It felt loose it kept like so yeah, i'm gon na try with the bobby pins and stuff but yeah i'm gon na try and i mean the clips and see if that's better, but i think i'm gon na still take it to a salon. So they can cut it for me and, like kind of just make it tell me the best way to wear it like just help me out. You know what i'm saying but yeah so um, that's the the picture i'm inserting is for the amazing beauty. They'Re, like 110 115, maybe even more, i'm not sure it could have been like 120.. It depends on length. So it's a lot more with length, but my i would suggest if you wanted it really long. This is 20 inches getting like the 16 or maybe 18, and because you're gon na want it cut. Probably unless your hair is already really long, then that would be fine, okay, but yeah. That was the amazing beauty which i like. I said. I really like the quality and everything i think it's just too long, and i need it to like fit better all right. So then, the next one i wanted to try was this from sarla, and this is 9.99 now it's it the reason i even got it. It was like a lot of people paired these two together. You know amazon i'll recommend it. So i was like why not just to see the difference, so this just gives you this little paper and gives you a little bit of instructions on here and that's it. It comes in like this. It doesn't give you anything else, but again, there's like a hundred dollar difference. So that's fine all right so here this one is curly too, so this one is - and this is synthetic this isn't um human hair. Obviously it's ten dollars so and now i'm highlighting my hair in the next couple days, so this, i think, will match pretty well when i highlight the top of my hair right now. My hair is a little too dark so, but i really was surprised that i really liked this one too, like it's the same thing except this cord, unlike the other one, which is the fishing wire. This is like stretchy a little bit, which i don't know how i feel about that because i want it to be secure. I don't really want it, you know, but it did feel a lot. It fit a lot better put it that way. So i liked it because it had pearls in it, and i just i don't know i this one. It'S like, i think it's 16 inches and it it just looked a lot more natural. I think, like obviously i'll, have to curl my hair and after i have highlights to blend them together. It said you can curl your hair with it to blend it together, even though it's like fake. So i don't know how that works, because i thought you couldn't, but that's what it says so yeah ten dollars and i will insert the picture of that. One of just me wearing it, so i don't know guys. I just wanted to know your opinion on these halo extensions, there's so many different kinds. Now you don't have to get the um halo brand one if you don't want to since they're so expensive, and so, if any of you guys have gotten on that, whether the name brand one or these dupes or amazon, please. Let me know in the comments what you guys, think of them, if you like it or any tips and tricks on on them, because, like i said i just got both of these like within the last couple days, and i'm just trying to you know work with It i'm still trying to get them to work, but i just these came a little later today, so i'm very pleasantly surprised. So, if you're looking to try this guys, this ten dollar, one is a great option to try. It see how you like it. It is not bad, i mean so obviously it doesn't feel like the other one, which feels very real. It is real and it feels a little like it just doesn't feel the same. But that way, but it's still, i think it's still a great deal for ten dollars. You can, i think it you if i curl my hair and blend it together it. It will look good, you know so yeah now. I just wanted to show you guys. Those and and get your guys opinion on these. I was also looking at toppers like to add volume. On a on top of my hair, too, i've seen a lot of people, videos of them matching them or putting them both together, the topper and the um halo. I mean it seems like a lot, but it's also supposed to not damage your hair at all. That was the other reason. I'M really interested, because, like clips and bonding all that can really damage your hair and i don't want damage i'm trying to grow. My hair longer and better so anyways those were my um little review kind of of the amazing beauty and the what's this sarla hell, halo, hair extensions, all right! So let's get into the boxycharm. So here it is it's for february 2021 open it up! Here'S what it looks like i'm, not showing you a lot. I already think i see something that i got already and i've only been a member for boxycharm for like three months. Okay, so it says boxycharm xo and then it gives you a list of the you know, tells you the products all right. So the first thing is what i already they already sent me like. I think, like um, two months ago, the i duo good vibes, mascara and eye pencil yeah, this tris tristique, it's that one with the curler on it yeah. I totally already got this and i haven't even been a um member for long at all wow. I know people say they get repeat products. I just didn't think i'd get it so fast, but it didn't come with the eyeliner. So it's like a duo. I don't know i probably just try and sell it. That'S what i usually do for that items already have all right. The next thing is from tula and it is the deep exfoliating blackhead scrub. I think i chose this. I might have chose this. I don't know if i did, but i'm excited for that. I really like tula's skincare products, all right and then sorry i keep trying not to um trying not to. I want not to be all blurry focus all right, poor effect, primer, okay, it looks like it's a primer from evo beauty. I don't. I never heard of that, but okay and then it looks like we got these glam near. I think these are brushes, because i was looking at um, some spoilers okay, so it comes like this very i don't know how i feel all right and then it looks like it comes with four brushes. Okay, yeah, like i don't know it's like some kind of glittery, which i think i'm gon na sell this as well, because i don't want to open it and then not like it and then what do i do? Because i don't know, i heard the quality is not that great or i might give this to my friend. You know i don't know, i don't think she has many brushes, so i might just give this to her that way. She can like play with the makeup that i've given her and like i said i go diving a lot, so i have lots of makeup so i've given her some that way she has some more brushes. I might do that right. So the next thing - oh, this is what i chose. This is the next the latest item, which is from ace beauty, and it is the palette it's bigger than i than um. I thought it was so. Let'S see what this guy looks like all right. So here it is, i don't know if that's a mirror. Yes, it does so yeah okay, so that is the palette. It'S very colorful, i'm more like a neutrals kind of girl, but i wonder if i would get used out of this honestly. I don't know i mean if you take out the blue. It'S really just like a very warm tone palette. You know it looks very colorful when you have like the blue and like even the yellow, but if you take like those two away, it's actually you know not bad. So i don't know i. I got the um violet boss, all of the green one um. For last month, well, i didn't get it. I actually purchased it off of somebody every seller, because i didn't get it in my box and i really wanted it so i'm going to play around with that palette. I just lost the because i'm going to sell it, and now i don't know where the um, the little thing went, the oh i'll find it. But anyway, so that's everything i got in my boxy charm for february i got the ace beauty, what kind of pat? What is this called? No, what is it not there? That'S what it's called. I can't read nostalgia. I don't know. Okay, i can read i'm sorry. I didn't mean that i just meant some big words. I have trouble with all right and then this tristique um, mascara and liner. I think i have the other one listed for sale still in my makari store and still hasn't sold. So i might just keep one of these and then this primer and then the toilet, toilet, tula, um, exfoliator scrub and then these brushes so yeah this like i said this was the base box. This is 25 for this stuff. Like i said, i'm new to boxy. I used to have ipsy for the last for a few years. They were great in beginning all like high-end brands, that you know, and then i don't know what happened they just they just stop. They start selling, like not just i don't know, not good brands and, like brains, never heard of it's just and that's fine, some sometimes, but like almost all the products all the time, and i gave it a while gave it like a good six months before i Was like now, i'm good and i moved over to boxycharm and now ipsy bought out boxy. So here we are, i don't know i just i think ipsy cheapens they like i don't know, i think they they must have got a new person. Maybe in the last few years because they used to be awesome and or maybe when they started selling these like plus and then the bigger ones. And then you can buy this and it's like. They stopped caring about like the base boxes and like i'm new to boxycharm my first month's box. I love to have the natasha denona palette in it, and i really liked it and then the next month, and it wasn't that great and i've had issues with add-ons. Not getting null and i'm just not that impressed with foxy, but i heard it was like a lot better before, of course, i'm always late to everything and miss all the good stuff. But for 25 i'm hoping i can sell stuff and at least make my 25 dollars back and if i can do that then and keep some stuff or gift. If then you know it's worth it, but i didn't read the little card. I'M sorry i'll just tell you the prices, the palette was 38.99 and the toilet the. Why do i keep saying that the tula skincare is 32., the trusty i do. I was 44. yeah right, i'm probably not even gon na get like 15. For that thing, um the pink glitter brush set is 29.95. I don't believe that one either probably like 10 bucks and then the primer is 23., so i will put a total like right now of how much everything came to so you definitely get your money's worth, but i don't know this just wasn't my favorite box, but It'S still worth it, i would say i'm happy with the tula and i'll try the primer, and i guess i'll, keep this mascara and try the eyeliner. Since i already have one listed for sale, the same one, i've never tried it. So maybe i shouldn't, like you know like talk on band about it. If i haven't tried it yet, but i don't that was everything in my boxy charm for february 2021. Let me know what you guys got in your box. I think it was like nine dollars, but i had a coupon, so no it was twelve dollars, so i only had to pay a couple dollars, but now they did, they always have shipping cost. I don't remember shipping costs on there before which i don't think they should have that either, because that kind of that they gave me five dollars shipping. So i don't know, like i said, i'm new to boxycharm, but anyway i'll stop rambling. That was the video.
