Hey guys, it's me em back at it with another video. So today i'm getting my hair extensions ripped out taken out. They are 22 inch tape in extensions. I got them from a girl in toronto, who does it from her home, she's, very lovely and gave me a very good price. So if anyone's interested, let me know because she did a great job um. But i have officially had enough - and i am retiring because i think clip-ins are just the way to go for me um, but i wanted to take you guys along. I dropped my mask. I wanted to take you guys along my journey today, of getting them out, because a lot of people have questions and wonder if it ruins your hair and i guess we'll find out together. You know what i mean so we're going down there now um, but i will update you in a bit. Can you please throw on some tunes radio static here we come help help the nikki hold on hold on hold on no no hold on first stop. So i don't know why i didn't film before going in, but this is me getting them taken out. I have a few other clips um, but you can go to hair boss by lindsay that's her instagram i'll tag, it i'll link it but yeah. This is just her taking them out. Okay, this clip is really blurry, i'm not sure what happened, but all she pretty much did was put some sort of glue remover, i guess over the tape and then you kind of just separate the two tapes. I don't know if i'm explaining it right, it doesn't i'm not the one that does it, so it doesn't really make sense to me, but, as you can see, she just kind of like pulls it out and makes sure that your hair doesn't get ruined in the Process she was really gentle about everything as well. I think we're about halfway done. Oh really, halfway yeah, okay, we are halfway done and my hair hasn't ripped out of my head. So that's good! So we'll update you when it's done like i don't have anything else. As long as it keeps them safe, it's a clean bag. Okay, so we just finished the appointment, guys she's, not bald, i'm not okay, i'm close to all, but like i'm glad to kind of like be back to myself, my regular self, i'm gon na take a shower, i'm gon na wash it and i think i'm gon Na let it go curly because i haven't in so long. I don't know if this is like a good filming spot or not like. Obviously, you can see the steering wheel and whatever, but i am on my way home and i wanted to talk to you guys about my little extension journey because um, i kind of just like had the idea to start this video. While i was on my way to get them removed - and i know a lot of girls have trouble with um choosing what to do in terms of extensions like there's microbeading fusion tape in there's literally so much probably, i don't even know half of it um, but I know that if you have thin hair, like me, tape is the way to go. Fusions usually weigh down your hair and micro beads mega way down your hair, so um. If you have thin hair, i would stick with tape, ins, which is what i did or if you have like thicker hair, you could do fusions, i'm not sure about microwave i've had both fusions. I didn't have a problem with, like i found that my hair was actually quite good after i did them this so the first time i did tape ins um. I got them in and i was super happy um, but i was hospitalized then for a month like right after i got my freaking new hair extensions, so um, then they got all messed up. I had to have surgery and my hair was a mess. So obviously, when they took out the extensions half of my head of hair came with it, and then i associated that with like tape and hair extensions and how bad they could be. But i think that it was just my own bad luck being hospitalized, and all of that so i decided to try it again and this time was amazing, like the girl that did it lindsay. I'M gon na tag her down below she's from toronto. So if you're from toronto and you're looking go to her, her prices are amazing and her hair is actually like. The quality of the hair is super super good um, but yeah she made the experience super nice and, like i was obviously traumatized from the last time. So she made it super easy to get them again and then, when she took them out, i was so so scared. But now i am feeling confident with my hair and yes, you will lose a little bit of hair. It'S not unusual um, but you got to do what you got to do. You know if you're going to do it, you have to know what you're going into doing it with so i knew i was going to lose some hair and now we're kind of on the journey to fix the hair and build and build new, healthy hair, so That we can be a long-haired queen, all right guys, so this is the final product my hair feels healthy. I mean i know it feels a little bit thinner um, but i used a tony shampoo in the shower, so my color is coming back to the way that i liked it and it's good to have my curls back. I overall would recommend tape. Ins um: i just think that the maintenance of it all sucks. So if you don't blow dry your hair after every shower or if you go to bed with your hair wet, then it is not for you. But overall i did have a good experience. I would recommend lindsay. I will link her down below. She is amazing and yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching this video. I hope you loved it.
