Ah, i deleted the beginning of this video, so here is a reenactment of what it's what it was supposed to be. This is my hair on january 18th, however, on january 19th it was an extra 16 inches longer the simple answer to how that happened as well. Hair extensions now the question i'm answering today: isn't: how did i put them in, but rather how do i get them out? So in today's video i'm going to be showing you exactly how to do that, let's get into it now the materials i have are a hair clip my comb to brush out the sticky residue that gets on your hair, um, a hairbrush, obviously to brush your hair And then some kind of hair, oil, okay, so basically one of the videos that i deleted. I now remember i was talking about all the different hair oils you can use like castor oil, argan oil, coconut oil, olive oil. That was like the oil for the hair to remove the extensions. So first i'm just going to start at the base, i'm going to section my hair, so i'm going to show you my head. Hopefully, you can see that's where the extensions are right here and there's another one. I think there's only two back there, because this is the one that came out. There'S a third one: i'm going to try to show you like this, so i'm getting my hair oil squirt a little bit of oil on the extension tape. Okay! So then, once you put the oil on there, it kind of loosens up the stickiness, but then you can start to pull them apart and then gently pull them off your hair. Okay. Now that one has a knot, that's why it's not coming out. There'S like a dreadlock right, there they're just kind of knotted together right here, okay, but we got the first one out, i'm gon na try and do the other one. I have the same problem with those two. They are also still stuck now. As you can see, your hair is going to be really sticky. So that's where you use the comb to kind of brush out on the goop and then once i take all of them out we're just going to do like an oil treatment on my whole scalp anyways. So that should help it come out as well. So in this next portion of the video i am trying to remove the hair extensions with rubbing alcohol instead of the hair oil. I thought i was just going to do the hair oil because it sounded like a safer option, but i wanted to show you guys how the rubbing alcohol reacts on the hair extensions as well. I'M gon na show you what happens with the alcohol. I feel like the alcohol works a lot better. It goes a lot faster, but i'm just worried about it, stripping my hair color, but honestly coloring, my hair again is not a big deal. I'M just going to put the opening really close to my hair extension. Now you just want to try and split them gently just like that, and then i make sure to pull it off my hair um. These ones are separating nicely that one didn't have a dreadlock in it. I'M going to remove all the extensions, because it's the same process for all of them just going to use the alcohol and then i will be back once they're all out. All of the hair extensions are out. If you didn't know what my hair looked like before, this is how short it is, that's what it looks like now. These are all sticky and a mess so we'll clean them up in a bit, but now we're going to put hair oil on our scalp and do a little hair oil scalp treatment. So i'm just going to section through my hair and just massage it in okay. My hair, i didn't wash it or anything. This is all the oil that i put in it. I literally massaged it through with my hands combed it through, and i put it to the ends of my hair as well, and now i'm just gon na take a claw, clip and tie my hair up. So it's off of my clothing and out of my face, and now i'm gon na leave it up like that for probably about an hour or two okay. Now this is the part that takes a little more time than just taking them out. It took me probably 30 to 40 minutes to get them out which actually, i feel like i put them in faster than that. So now we have all of our hair extensions out, but they all have the sticky stuff still on them. Now these are reusable, but their adhesives are not so we need to pull those off and the easiest way to do that is just to use the alcohol again and dump it on dump it. I don't know if that's the right word, i'm gon na do it over the sink, but you pour a little on that adhesive. Then you just kind of peel off the tape from the hair extension. Just like that. Now, i'm gon na go. Do that to all these little hair extensions, there's gon na be some stickiness left over, but that's okay! That'S what you want for when you put your new adhesives on it kind of gives it something to stick to now. I'M just gon na take a purifying shampoo and i'm just gon na wash them with warm water. I know this is kind of like hillbilly of me, but i just laid them all out on my bedroom floor, so they can dry overnight and then we'll move them in the morning. Okay, it's been oh, i should have looked at my face. Sorry i have this thing going on in my face and kind of breaking out so ignore that, but it's been over two hours since i put the oil in my hair. So it's about time we wash it out. Oh, my goodness, my hair is finally clean and it felt so good to scrub my scalp and like really clean it, because i haven't been able to do that. I mean i've been like cleaning it, but i couldn't scrub it with my extensions. The only thing i do notice um is that when i was like washing it, it still felt kind of like oily, and i literally i shampooed it four times, but i used a natural, shampoo anyways, and so it has some like oils in it. So it's kind of like a moisturizing shampoo. I guess we'll see what happens once it dries, but yeah it's finally clean and all the extensions are out okay, so it's actually been a day or two um, since i last recorded that next morning, after i wash my hair, my hair still looked greasy. So i had to wash it again and that's what it is currently it looks like this now the hair extensions are all dry. I just put them all together at the top like that, and i will put them back in their box to keep them there until i'm ready to use them again. Thank you guys so much for watching this video. If you enjoyed the video, don't forget to like and subscribe, and i will see you guys next week, peace out - oh, should i be so dumb, but yeah
