To show you how to remove them, I went ahead and I installed one, but I installed it lower just to simulate a little bit of growth here, because after you're taking them out, it will grown out quite a bit and these ones are brand new. So what I'm going to do is I have a little bit of acetone in a little bottle here, just going to put one drop, really quick on the bond, not all over the hair. Just on the bond using a pair of rigid pliers, I'm just going to kind of start crunching it then I'm going to give it a quarter turn and crunch it in the other direction. You'Ll see that the bond is going to start to break down and let loose with the natural hair like it is right now just continue crunching it kind of give it a little twist comes right out and all I'm going to do now is there's a little Bit of residue on there, so you just want to comb that out. You can use your fingernail a little bit and that's it they're out.

Camy Tran: Thank you so much. Your video is so helpful. I got all my keratin extensions removed last nite. I did by myself. I took me 4 hours, but it helps. It feels so much better now. I got 100% acetone, and a pliers from Homedepot ($2.97). It costs me just almost $5 to remove all my extension, instead of $100 @ the salon.

Corrina Wang: great tutorial ! i used acetone and normal pliers since i didn't the ones for hair and removed all my extentions! it took 5 hrs tho, but it feels so good to have them out. :]

Tangleduntangled: Wow...Acetone is really not good for the hair, it drys the hair out immensely. For keratin bonds just use the Take Down Remover for hair extensions and the fusion flat iron to melt the bond-it slips right out! Take Down gets all the glue residue off the roots of your hair and it softens your roots if they are matted from oil or lint build-up.

JessicaJeter02: @jctatis1 Yup, you can. You just cut the bond completely off and use the heating tool to glue the extension hair to a new bond, then you glue it to your hair like you would in the first place. If you wanna see it being done, just type in "How to install hair extensions" by Donnabellahair and it shows it towards the end of the video :)

09anutka: good video, good explanation!

terrykeo817: can you reuse them after you've removed them.

Devilicious: Oh god, it's never that easy when I do it lol

AKIYIAKELLY: how long do it take to Take a full head of extensions out as well as put them in? Is the acetone bad on your natural hair?

Vania Panahon: Which one do you think is more damaging keratin or microlinks in your opinion for fine hair? Thanks

Shortney: I had feather extensions put in and the stylist used fusion glue pebbles. They hurt my head so I found some glue removal product at sally's..it didn't work but the acetone idea is perfect!

Blerina Zonia: just thank you so much you save me

09anutka: great vid , thanks girls! How safe acetone?? You use just a drop of it! On "dead matter" which is hair, by the way, did you know hair conditioner made from "fabric softener", and major part of any shampoo motor cleaner detergent, and we all using it every day !

miaangel247: haha, it doesnt rly matter because you are already damaging your hair with the glue and heat!

xoxopeacebringer: is it safe 2 put acetone in ur hair?

Rach113: I got fusion hair extensions and the girl at the salon messed it up! You can see the glue and mine are an inch already and i just got them done. It does NOT look like that! what do i do?? Im sick of wearing a hat and the lady keeps arguing with me and i just want my money back!

Caroline: i just got mine removed by an idiot. took 6 hours, never been in so much pain in my life.

Cynthia Ramirez-Hidalgo: does it need to be aceton or does all  nailpolish removers work? because they dont sell aceton that much here in sweden

beautigra: It sounds like you are in or have attended beauty school, how safe is acetone on the hair because some will touch the hair if you are removing a whole head of extensions.

leann38106: Great video

BCM: Did you say acetone? Can you tell me what brand if you don't mind? Thanks

Abi Acacia: omg hell no. acetone desolves acrylic, so imagine wat it can do to ur hair. i rather a full lace wig and trackin method(sewn weave)

Kristen Alysse: yea is the hair damaged after ??

Mckenzie Ruecker: It's keratin, not kareten. And keratin is a protein, not a hormone.

longlongwayway: omg this is horrible. You'll need someone to take it off for you then. My extentions are threaded to weave tracks on my hair - i think that is the safest way as your hair is totally safe. Most afro hairdressers use the weave track method

Richard Morcelo: Starting to dreadlock,Really acetone? Not good.

moonsunnstarz: u kno u culd just sqeeze the link sideways (like u kno how its flat well use the plyers n do the sides) n it comes right off n u could use it again

froggie9219: i thought it was a real person for a minute there...

Parverloder: Glad im a guy.

cacaloveforever: i cant understand what you are saying

omfgyourmomsugly: these are freakin HORRIBLE. i wont ever get these done again. they are painful to sleep on especially with a full head. girls, stick to the clip ins & the microlinks!!

Amoroussparkle: That is not true at all..
