Hair Goalz: Watch Me Maintenance Extensions (Tape Removal, Cleaning, Retaping My Extensions)

Hey guys in today's video, I'm gon na be showing you how I take my extensions from this nasty dirty stage of just coming out of my head to being washed cleaned and retake, which is what these extensions over here are. Essentially, I'm finna to be who or not we're taping extensions can be reused again and again and again really until the hair just decides that it is no longer good quality. I'M in the process of reviewing these, so I can't really save their good quality or not. This is gon na, be my second install with them so we'll see after I put them back in how they perform, but I do want to show you guys, because I know I've talked about retaping extensions, but I've never showed you guys how to this is meant To be a servant, l just in case I didn't say that already so I'll show you guys what I'm doing, and I will tell you what I'm doing, but it's not a tutorial okay, so I'm gon na try and get another like my other camera to do A close-up of me actually taking the tape off of these, because right now, you're just really gon na watch me take it off versus. Let me show you just because this lens does not do zoom. Well so yeah I'm gon na commit to speeding up this clip said you guys can watch me I'm going to take. This is all that I have left to take tape off of. I did watch my other ones already so and I did film that portion, but I want you to go ahead and get the other part of the tape in extensions washed and clean and ready for install too, because I have run into all of it. At the same time, you alright guys so I know you can't really see me a lot, but you can hopefully see what I'm doing or I'm gon na try and bring it up so that you guys can see. So what I'm doing right now is like with this one I just had, and I didn't think about it until I turned the camera until after I turn the camera on or I thought about it after I shut the camera off, but basically the extension. So, with the with the tape, sometimes it will try and get stuck on the the actual piece where the tape goes, because it is still sticky. So what I'll do is I'll take a comb. This is just a regular small tooth comb and I'll just comb. The hair out - and I start in the middle and just kind of work, my way down and slowly work, my way up to the top so you're trying to essentially get the hair away from this part right here, because you don't want the hair to get stuck And when you go back to try and retain fit, you want to go ahead and try to get it out of there now. So that's basically what I just did so I'll show you guys what I'm doing. I'M pretty much just grabbing like a couple extensions and, like I said I do marry them so I'll put two together. Basically, I make sets because I just find that it's easier and it makes the process go by a little bit faster, so I'll grab like maybe three right here and then I'm gon na. Take this too all right. The conductor shampoo, you guys know to me and I'm just getting a little bit of it and then I'm gon na work it into a little bit of a lather and just kind of run it over the the tops of these and try not to like disturb The hair, but anyway, so what I'll do that and then I'll just put it in the water and wiggle it around? And I'm sorry, you guys can't see that part and I just move it over into the section of hair that I've already washed and grab some more keep going. You alright guys, so we have washed extensions, we have rinsed them and now what I'm going to do is use some of this right here is the nourishing leave-in treatment and it's the comparable to the it's a tin bicycle Express, I'm just going to kind of spray. This on the bottom of the extensions I'm not trying to get too close to the top because, like I said, I don't want to risk doing anything to the okay and then I'm just going to flip them over do the same thing, it's kind of like when You'Re cooking steak or something like that you got to do both sides. So essentially, that's what I'm gon na do I've washed I've rinsed and now I'm just going to let this sit in the hair for a little bit and then once it's dry, I'm going to retype it and then I'm going to yeah, I'm gon na retype it And then after I retype it, I'm gon na reinstall it really. You can see me and the table, or at least part of what I'm gon na be doing. I'M gon na have a close-up. I do have my mini camera here, so they can record a close-up for fit, but basically I'm just gon na be going it through and I've just washed my extensions. They have now dried, so I'm gon na be separating separating them and retaping them with these. With this replacement tape, I got this off Amazon. I will try and link it down below, if I remember to, but basically I'm just gon na go through and pull them apart and then pick one of these off put it on and at the end right before. I install them I'll go through with my flat iron and kind of tap them just to seal them, but for now we just want to get the tape up there. It'S okay! If it's still a little sticky, I mean it's not gon na hurt anything but yeah. So that's what I'm gon na do now and I'm gon na speed through this part, so it because it will get tedious, because I have all this to do plus some more that I just washed. So, like I say, we'll get Tia's but you know won't get through it. So just keep watching you what's up you guys, so I totally smashed forgot to film and outdoor for the video. So, as I'm editing it, I am now filming the outro, but you guys should just watch me basically take the tape off of the extensions wash them and retake them, so pretty much the entire process that I do. I don't do anything extra with the extensions, although right now, I'm actually convincing my sister to help me Dadda the ends of them, so that I'll have a little bit of color going into the spring months. You know, I feel like a little bit of bleach. Isn'T order but anyways um, I don't know how that process is gon na go, so you guys just stay tuned when I get them back, install you'll definitely be able to see the difference.
