A Review: Yummy Extensions Raw Cambodian Natural Wave

This hair isn't "virgin" or "natural". The hair I received looks nothing like the hair in their advertisements.

The hair was colored and/or chemically-treated. I never colored the hair, yet every time I wash it the hair losses color. The hair was very dry and damaged. I included pictures at the beginning of this video.

I was able to make the hair look decent by deep conditioning it with silicone mix and by using Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal Oil.

Once I deep conditioned the hair and added the oil, after a month it looked 100 times better. I am going to keep trying to work with this hair and see if maybe it will get better with time. The hair looks cute once you style it.

I purchased this hair during the Black Friday sale, so that may be a part of the reason why the hair I received was subpar.

Here is the price breakdown that I paid for the hair:

24in bundles $113.30 each x 2= $226.60

26in bundles $118.45 x 3= $355.35

Package protection= $20.43

Shipping= $20

Tax= $53.43

Total= $675.81

Hello youtube: it's your girl kimberly! Thank you so much for coming back to my channel. This video is going to be review of the hair that i'm wearing, which is yummy extensions, raw cambodian natural wave hair. So i previously did a live show off the bundles. When i got them so this is the part wig i made, i'm wearing the hair, i've been wearing the hair. So if you want to know whether or not you should get it, is it worth it? What is the hair really like for someone who paid for it? Keep watching all right so before we get into the review, make sure you hit the subscribe button that way, you'll see all the great videos i put on this channel after you hit the subscribe button. Hit the notification bell that way when i go live when i post a new video, you will be among the first to know. Okay, so also make sure you follow me on twitter, uh, instagram yeah. Those are maine too so since you're already here and subscribe, uh and you'll find that information in the description box below so just in case you didn't see the live. I'M gon na go through a full breakdown of well. You might not want to walk here about the prices and more and more and things, but let me just tell you what you probably can just find out. This hair is not raw. This hair is not virgin and, if that's what you're looking for, you should not buy this hair so um. If your expectation is that you want raw unprocessed hair in its natural form on the weft, then do not buy this hair and because this hair is not natural and not raw and not virgin. So if that's, what you are looking for, this hair is not that. So feel free to exit the video. If that's what you wanted to know, okay, so on to prices uh. So i got this hair during the black friday sale. So it was 30 off. So i got um two 24 inch bundles and then three 26 inch bundles. The 24 inch bundles were originally 180. They came down to 113 30.. The 26 inch bundles were originally 190. I'M looking at the um receipt right here. I don't want to show my personal business, but you know that's why i'm looking down uh the 26 inch bundles were originally 190 and i got them for the 30 off. So then they were 118 each um. The total of the hair alone was 602. Then there's a 20 route protection fee to protect your package, just in case it gets stolen, because that is a very popular thing for people to see still weave out the mail. Then there's a 20 shipping charge. I live in new york, so then there was also twenty four dollars: tax um, the county. I live in new york, also charges tax. So then there was three dollars: two dollars: two dollars: 26 cents tax. For that there were two taxes from my county: new york city be getting us. That'S all i'm going to say um. So when you add all the county tax from new york city. Basically, that was an extra 30, so 30 from the city 25 from new york state 20 shipping, so it came up to three 675 - was the total so um, depending on where you live, there's a good the 20 protection package. I assume that's the same price. All over the country, but there was pretty much fifty dollars worth of new york, state tax, new york, state or new york city tax, so um, that's that on that uh they have a location in brooklyn, which i mean i live in, i'm in brooklyn. So they do have location here, so i could have went down there and tried to fight in real life on black friday, but i rather the convenience of shopping from home and i got it online so verified shipment extensions. They put a big pink, i'm gon na fold it in the house. They have to see it verified, so that means that they, i got it from them. Okay, so those are the prices. I also type it in the description below i'll, try and stand up real quick, so you guys can see. I am how tall i'm 5'4 so with curling it the 26 inch it is like. Is it booty length? Well, yeah, i'm not gon na see, but it's pretty long. It'S past my chest, um so nice and long. That'S why i pay for the extra lengths, because i, like my wiggies, to be wiggy um so now uh more on the whole, this hair is not natural, blah blah blah blah. So, first of all do y'all see i did not color the hair. I did not chemically treat the hair. Do you see how black this hair is? Real hair is not that black, like that's just the matter of fact, and if it is that black i got five bundles, one bundle might be that black two bundles might be that bad, but five bundles to be pitch dark of the night black and perfectly well. Not perfectly blend, but, as you can see, this is real hair right here and then this no that's real hair. Still, so that's fake hair, that's real hair! Can you see that color match my hair is lighter, so that is usually what the natural hair color is, and that blackness is what the yummy hair is. Every time i wash, this hair color comes out in the sink um this hair. It looks like barbie hair a little like it was very i'm gon na put pictures here of actually i'm lying, i'm gon na put all the pictures in the beginning. That way, you guys can see what the hair looks like when it was just washed and air dried. Then you can see what the hair looked like after i put oil on it and curl wanded it, because the hair was so fried dried and blow-dried. It'S been through years of wear and tear in the words of the lusters, commercial, okay and natural hair. Just does not natural bundles. Don'T look like that, like it's natural bundles, all five of them are not gon na, be the same exact, shade black. They all have the same pattern but um, it's just not raw. First of all, cambodia, like all this hair, either comes from india or china. So that's the first part. Second of all, this hair, like i said it, was very much so colored the first time i co-washed it. I co-washed it with vof shampoo, vof conditioner from the dollar store. For some reason. I don't know if it's like all the extra chemicals but there's something in vof that it just makes wigs really soft when you wash it in there. So whenever i get a human hair wig, i always wash it in the vof or silicone mix, because that makes it soft and manageable um wash it in the vof conditioner. The water was a tinge brown and i thought that the reason why it was brown was because the packaging was that satiny plastic black and they put those little paper shreds in with the hair. So i thought, oh, the dust from the paper shreds is coming out in the water and that's what this brown is is the dust from putting the shredded paper, because the shredded paper that um the shredded paper they put with the weave is the same shredded paper That people make easter baskets with and i don't know y'all so um unintentional camera break. My card was full and i had to do some things, but i'm actually liking this ski better. So i'm going to continue to ramble on about this hair so um. This is, as you can see, 26 inches in the back. So the way i make my wigs is my length order. So it's going to be 26, 26, 26, then 24, 24, 26, 26, 26 and then 24 24 and then um. It'S a you part wig. So then, this is my leave out in the front um. So basically this hair, like i said as every time i washed it color came out first time i watched it with the vof a little color came out. I thought it was from the paper that was packaged with the hair, but then the second time i washed it after i wore the wig a little bit um. So every two weeks i wash my wigs, it was black. The water was straight black and, like the water was gray, it looked like when i have rinsed wigs before with like the pink bottle, semi-permanent rinse, and it looks like what happens when i rinse the rinse off of my wigs. Now. The thing is when you color your hair, the rinse water and the colored hair water. Both looks the same, so i don't think this hair was rinsed because i feel like especially with me wearing it and washing it and curling it and doing all the things um. I think that it was permanently colored black, therefore voiding the whole raw hair title titles not virgin, not raw is colored um. With this hair, i don't know if you guys can see the luster. The hair does not come with that luster. I like covered this hair with africans, pride, hair oil, it's a hair body oil and i put that on the hair just to make it not look dead, because the hair has been chemically treated um and mind you. This hair is not what i'm talking about. This is my real hair. This hair down here, which i mean the wig wearers y'all, know what i'm talking about, but um this hair as you can, i'm trying to separate a little piece and i'll put it on the piece of paper. You guys see how like moisturized, it is, and there's no like dry ends or dry pieces, as you can tell from the pictures before. This is not how the hair comes. The hair comes very fried very much like i had a rough life and i had to kind of nurse it back to what i wanted to look like now. That being said in a perfect world, you pay for virgin royal hair. You get virginal hair, it works wonderfully and lasts forever in real life. Very few vendors are providing hair, that's actually raw virgin unprocessed. All right. The ethical ones will tell you that this hair steam process that this hair is chemically treated and they'll. Tell you the truth about what happens to hair the less ethical ones are going to just say: yeah yeah, yeah, roar, real cambodian hair, and i'm not going to say that. Well, i do know that the hair for a fact probably did not come from cambodia. I'M i'm willing to bet money on that, but what i am also going to say is that the hair probably was raw at one point. It probably was virgin at one point, but not the point that it came to my house when it came to my house. It was colored and it was um color treated and it was not natural. The reason why i'm wearing it - and why am i sitting back is one yummy - has a really good reputation in these streets that their hair has lasted. People like it and a lot of people who do say that the hair is great and wonderful, are people who pay for it. So with that being said, i think, based on the texture of this hair and the way that it is now now that i silicone mix deep conditioned it. I coated it with oil, styled it and everything and i have been wearing it as i continue to wear it. I feel like the hair is getting more soft. It'S getting less dry, less colors coming out of it when i wash it and i feel like it's a hair that is going to last me now. I am going to continue to come back to you guys periodically with the hair, because of course, everything's all good. A month or two in but six months from now um a year from now two years from now is this wig still kicking. I have some antique wigs that will soon be hitting the 10-year mark that were made with, like, indeed pure hair, their u-parts, and i could still reach for them and wear them because they just live that long, and my thing is if the hair is going to Survive for that many years of being on a u-part and me keeping it in the rotation and being able to wear it, um, i'm not even going to rotate this wig honestly, i'm about to just use her six months straight and then see what she does, because Um, if the hair really lasts and the hair really is good, even though it's not natural, even though it's not virgin, if it's going to last, then that's fine with me um. I did notice an increase in dandruff, along where the weft is close to my scalp. So i'm not sure if maybe that's like the chemicals in the hair and that my scalp is feeling away, but we're going to see what happens. Um i'm going to try some new products for my hair. So that way it can try to minimize the dandruff but um yeah. I do think the hair is nice hair. If you once you do all the things that you have to do with these bundles, to bring it to life, it's now behaving the way i want. It'S holding the curl, it's um, not i oiled it up. So the ends don't look dry no more and the color is close enough to my real hair that it's not problematic for me. So um! No, it's not real. Like i said, it's not um raw is not virgin all the things that they're claiming in the name. It says royal cambodian natural wade. I mean it's not raw, so they could just chop that off the name and then well natural wave. I guess that's relative. They could keep that in there, but i definitely just if you're, one of those people who you're like i'm only buying raw and i'm only buying virgin and that's the reason why i'm paying all this money, i'm paying money just for it to last. Whatever you had to do to it, i would it would have been nice for you to give me a heads up. I said: oh, we steam it, we color it. We put silicone on it and that's why it's going to last for 10 years. I would like, if you told me that, but if not as long as it lasts, then we won't have a problem so um so far i'm liking. The hair is really soft. The bundles are super small and thin. If you think you're going to do two closures and if you think you're going to do a closure or two bundles you're about to look bold, if you ever notice all of the pictures on yummy's instagram, the models have at least four bundles. There'S a reason for that, because these bundles are teeny weeny, bundles and the five bundles it is a little heavier, so i probably should have did four and a half but um those bundles are thin. You can't really do nothing with you're gon na need three bundles you're gon na be disappointed, i would say, go on ahead and buy that fourth bundle and maybe not use the whole thing, but these bundles are tiny, and i showed that on my youtube live which, Like i said, i'ma link that here too, but the bundles are tiny, tiny, tiny, they're, small bundles um. I guess they claim for the ounce that they are like comparable to other bundles. I get the three point: whatever ounces most companies are but i've. Never. I and i get 24 inch bundles all the time, so when i seen how small they were, i was like just because i understand it's longer that the left's getting shorter, but this is a real tiny little. It was real succinct. The way they had link ranked up that little the weft to make the bundle i was like that looks real tiny. I don't even look like a whole pony. Definitely look like half a ponytail, so um yeah, that's my two cents on the yummy raw cambodian natural wave hair. Like i said, the moral of the story is that it's not natural, it's not raw. It'S not virgin. It'S none of those things. It'S just real, solid, weave, hair, so um we're going to see how she continues through her time in these streets, and hopefully she will continue to bathe and act right so that i could keep giving you guys great glorious reviews on the hair. Okay. So i'm sorry to disappoint you. If you were thinking that this hair was gon na, be something else um don't worry. I was right there with you, but i'm realizing now over the years that it's just the very few vendors that are still given that quality in that kind of hair. So but it looks cute and i like the way it looks on me. So thanks so much for watching and i'll see you in the next video you

Reisa Henry: I have a wig made with yummy wave elegance hair and I have had it for 4 years and it is still in great condition. My wig was made with 2 1/2 bundles and a closure (16 in, I don’t like long hair) and it was the fullness that I like. Hopefully your wig lasts for a long time.
