Back To School Prep 2022! Organizing, Lunch Containers, Snacks, Haircuts, & More! Summer Memories

Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you the back-to-school prep I am doing for this year! Mostly just trying to get my life together, story of my life... one step at a time though, right? I organized their backpacks and got all of their school supplies ready for their first day back and their meet the teachers/orientation etc. Then I head to the kitchen to organize my lunch station! VERY important! I got some new lunch containers that I needed to replace, I decluttered some that weren't working for me and really tacked the water bottles... l.o.l. sike. Then I whip up an easy breakfast idea and a super simple snack/lunchbox snack idea that is only '4' let's say really it's five ingredients! Then I share some of our fun summer memories with you! Hope you enjoy it all!

Best,

Kim!

Thank you, okay, Kyle time to get our lives together and get ready for back to school, Grease. 2. Anyone. I have mixed feelings about this. I love summertime, but also love back to school time. Okay, tomorrow, the girls have their like orientation, meet the teachers kind of thing, so I need to get their school supplies. Yes, it is still sitting there from when I did my haul. I need to organize their school supplies. Avelina took hers and did that, but I have to do the other children because we're bringing their school supplies to their school tomorrow. I also need to work on my lunch station and organization. I got a couple new lunch containers. I need to really organize that space because, since we moved in I just kind of like shoved things places and now I I'm at the point where I'm like. Okay, this I need to find a proper system. I also have a healthy lunch box treat to share some morning, muffins that aren't so healthy, I'm assuming because oh my gosh, our fan ripped out of the wall out there. Oh you got, I don't know what the heck came through yesterday, a low-grade hurricane tropical storm. It wasn't one, but you would think there was one looking at the destruction in my backyard and our trampoline. This is completely off topic, trampoline tumbled over our fence. I should show you a clip, it's ridiculous, although I am glad that our fence isn't broken, because that would have been way more expensive than to replace the trampoline Okay anyway. But now I'm looking at the fan, thinking geez Louise, that is a hazard and a half. Okay, Fruity Pebble morning muffins, I don't know we'll see I you know I scroll through Pinterest. I find some things and I'm like. Oh that looks fun. Oh you know what I also found. Um the kids are going to decorate back to school cookies. They'Ll decorate some on the um first day of school when they get home, although I say that, but I don't know because right the day they go back to school is the day. I would snap with this hand, but I'm holding my phone it's the same day that all of their after school activities start and my goodness golly gracious. We all know how busy that can be with multiple kids going multiple places. You just feel like a taxi. Oh breakfast enchiladas um. I can't wait to make those I've been wanting to make them for a long time, I'm just using today as an excuse to make them because they're delicious uh haircuts for all. It is the second time Eleanor is going to a hair salon. The first time avelina is going to a hair salon and she is, I think, going for a drastic change. Drastic, I think so. So I'm excited for that. And then I need to give Wentworth a haircut which I kind of don't want to because his lovely Sun bleached hair, just it's so cute, and it makes me so happy. So I don't know I'm also thinking I might cut a few inches off mine again. It grows so fast, okay, first thing on my list: I need to go through this crap and um get their stuff in order. It'S time time to get your life together, one step at a time, whoa whoa I got ta go. I might just leave those balloons up for the rest of my life. I don't know, hey hey all right. They got ta go they're already collecting dust, okay! Well, I found their lists. I also went to the kitchen to get some water ended up coming back with some chocolate covered almonds, so uh, that's a good treat. I can snack on. Oh my gosh looking at the school calendar needing to add all of those things to our calendar. People think, like, oh, your kids are going back to school. You'Re gon na have so much free time, especially when you don't have kids that aren't in school. Did I say that right when you have kids that also aren't in school and some that are and then multiple with after school and all that stuff, you know you're just running around like a chicken with your head cut off, that's basically my entire life. I think I've got like five years until I can enjoy a little bit of freedom. I don't think I showed you in the hall because I just bought it yesterday. The day before I don't know what year is it? I grabbed Eleanor a lunchbox. I just found this randomly and she has a hard time, picking out lunch boxes, so um monochromatic moments. I feel like it's it's a good match. If not like perfect match. That'S perfect! Oh my gosh! I'M at a breath. I also need to run to Ikea. Don'T think that's gon na happen today, but it is on my list of things to do for a shoe cabinet, I'm looking at that stack of shoes over there. That'S the last thing I want to do every day is pick up shoes around my house. Oh, every day, all day every day, all right - let's do this - I have that packet of Hostess babalina took the ones that she wanted and left the rest, but then the little one got into it and they were Post-its all over my dang bedroom. So that was fun to bend over and clean up. Okay, I love getting their school supplies in order um and double checking my work. It'S like Santa Claus. I realized Eleanor needed, like five packs of pencils, for whatever reason she only picked up one and so later that day, when we were at Target and you'll see later, I well you'll hear me talk about it anyway. I come home and I show you. I got something anyway um I went to get more pencils for her, but they were out what they were out. I guess that's because most kids in our area have already gone back to school, so they're not restocking the area really, but they were completely out of pencils. Good thing, I had a stash on hand to share, but um. We also went to their orientation and everything, and it's just so crazy. We saw all their teachers and it's so great to go back on campus and see all their teachers and mingle around with parents and stuff, and it just feels so nice because I feel like we haven't, been able to really do that in a couple of years. Because you know in the past it's been individualized like oh, come, meet your teachers and see your desk and blah blah blah, but it was. It had come within like this time frame. You know just you so, oh it just feels so nice and I love their teachers. So much and their school is incredible and teachers are amazing, the work that they put into their classrooms and everything just completely warms my heart. So I'm excited for them to go back to school and it was really nice to get to see their teachers again the same teachers by the way that, like avalina, had when she was in kindergarten and Pre-K, and it just it's so amazing. I love it. Oh, that feels so good. I finally feel, like I have a little corner of my room back right, so all the supplies are in there. We have a couple of extra bags that we'll just bring with us to drop off their school supplies at their orientation tomorrow, exciting times. Okay, so I've gathered the lunch supplies that I have freshly bought, mostly from Amazon couple from Ikea. I can't find their other water bottle so story of my life. It was with all their school supplies. I thought, oh, maybe it rolled under the bed. Nope can't find it. So! Oh my gosh. I also need to go through our water bottle cabinet speech. Can you tell me one of your pet peeves to make me feel better because I'll tell you one of mine, water, bottles and cups? Where are they? I just started my dishwasher there's hardly any cups. Where are the cups? Where are the water bottles? I literally have no idea. I do have to run to Target today to get a crate for avelina's Locker and I can't believe she has a locker. I can't believe she's going into Middle School. I can't believe, but while I'm there, I don't want to pick up water bottles while I'm there, because they're so dang expensive. I'M I don't know what I'm gon na do, but I need to buy pencils. Don'T let me forget to get pencils and a crate. That'S top priority: okay. Moving on to The Lunchbox drawer, this is the lunch box drawer. It is a mess, chaos to say the least right under our junk drawer, which I feel like could facilitate so much better things I just don't. I just don't know. Why is there tape on my counter and then down here a big old mess same with these? Oh I'll, give you a closer look. This is like Tupperware right for leftovers and stop, but it's just a big pile of mess, so I'm hoping my Ikea containers can kind of Remedy this situation and then in here this is The Lunchbox. What is that? Oh food? I bet oh gross. I would eat that, but I don't even know what it is. It'S like an apple core or something oh wow, the top to my water bottle that could be useful, hey kids. Can you put the dishes away and then this is what happens? You know? That'S why? The saying goes: if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself, no honestly they're very helpful, and I know that they try their best to put their things away. So mistakes happen, but anyway this used to look nice and organized. So that is the plan today also, I feel like. I can also utilize this cabinet too, even though it looks packed to the Raptors. It'S really just my water bottles on this side, and then I don't just random stuff on that side. But most importantly, I have stuff all over the place where, like that's, where their lunch boxes are shouldn't, I keep their lunch boxes where I pack their lunches, I'm not sure, but I am kind of sure that I can get rid of these like. I don't need to keep them anyway. That'S the plan, I'm just gon na start emptying their these drawers out. Oh my gosh, it really is a mess in here. Oh wait: do you want to see what I bought first, just a very quick glimpse of my favorite containers, so I got a few of these. I think four, a pack of four and the lids are like neutral colors, which I thought was very aesthetic right up in middle schoolers wants and needs. I got a few of these from Ikea they're just little condiment containers, but I feel like they. You know blueberries or whatever you want to pack in there. The world is your oyster, some water bottle replacement straws for the water bottles that I can't find some lunchbox notes. We go through these, the kids love them. These are the four compartment lunch containers absolutely adore. These I thought I bought more. I think I still have some here. They are from last year, but some of the lids are broken. Some of the containers are broken honestly, um see that is broken and we've had these for a couple of years, so they have still the test of time kind of when you think of like a lunch container right and then um, ask me where the other Lids Are because that's just an impossible feat at the moment, oh and then the lunch blocks containers. I love the containers that come in here, but, most importantly, I love. I have more containers than this. Where are the rest of my things anyway? I love the ice pack that comes in here, it's large and in charge, and it fits perfectly in a lunchbox I'll. Take it out to show you, here's a better look on it and I don't know why but um. First of all, they come in two different colors like a pink Motif and then the blue, when one of them is more expensive, don't ask any questions, but I love the ice packs and they fit perfectly into a thing and they take up the whole surface area. So, if you're looking to keep their lunch cool, look no further. Okay, these are my favorite. They also come in this shape, which is also great. I'Ve had them for years and years. I have several of them, but sometimes they leave their lunchbox at school. Sometimes things go missing. Sometimes I don't have a reason. Well, I can't find them, but I bought green Rubbermaid containers. I bought extra of these containers because I just think they're so fantastic also, I opened the freezer to get that ice pack and I saw these and I feel like I need to do a PSA. I'Ve heard people Rave about these. I got them from Costco arm and a leg. Also, the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten in my entire life. My kids wouldn't touch them. They were like thirteen dollars, don't get them. That'S just my two cents. Okay, save your money rather have a Tostitos also found the second water bottle on my quest for the green containers. So I'm sure these will pop up eventually all right. The kids have a hair appointment like in two seconds, so I need to start getting my life together. Speaking of getting my life together, it actually feels really nice to declutter a little bit and go through these drawers. Finally, because it's been on my list of things to do probably all summer, but I just thought: oh, it's lunch containers I'll get to it, I'll get to it and finally, today's the day, so it felt good to go through this and get rid of the containers, Because I knew a lot of them didn't have lids, I knew a lot of them were broken, so they were just taking up space and it was you know, it's always nice to have fresh things that aren't broken. So, there's that and then also having this drawer organized always feels good. I had this a same, a similar drawer in our last house, which just housed all of our lunch containers and throughout the years I've realized what containers I use, which ones I don't really use. You know what I mean like we, we know what works for us and our families and our kids etc, etc. Oh, did you see those nasty like how dirty they get? How do they get so dirty? What what is happening that they get so dirty? It'S not like, I'm spilling food in there. I don't know filthy, it's like the silverware drawer. How does food get in there I'll never know, but it happens crumbs Galore, so I I clean those out just rinsed them out with soap and water and stuff, and now I'm organizing the best part. My favorite part feels so good. Look at those fresh lunch containers. I will have to wash them, but that that time will come not today. Well, when I find the rest of my green containers, it'll fill that up also, these can stack inside of each other, so they don't have to take up as much room, but this is feeling really nice and cozy plenty of space. For the you know, lunch containers to breathe so that feels really good sleep. I still have a couple more where, like they're, um hot containers I used to store in here, but I'm thinking they can go underneath or really there's space for them over there. If I move those elsewhere too, I don't know I'm gon na see what works, because I don't pack them Hot Stuff. Very often, maybe they can go with their missing water bottles and then over here I have like the broken containers, also like the ones with missing pieces and these containers I loved for years. But for whatever reason I don't know if we started putting them in the dishwasher or whatever, but these started popping out of them, I always hand wash them, but I'm not the only one who does dishes around here. So um yeah, like I have one good lid and then the rest are just hodgepodge and most of them I like. Where are the rest of them? I don't know. This container is fantastic for cheese and crackers and stuff, so I'm gon na throw that in here somewhere. Also other containers that are great for cheese and crackers are these, but again these broke. I'Ve had them for years and years and years, they're a fuel containers and they come with a little little spreader here. Love them Endless Possibilities with these containers. But again I don't know if they were thrown in the dishwasher or whatever, but they broke, which is so sad. So I have two perfectly good containers, but both of the lids are broken. So, there's that all right - I'm gon na work on this drawer later time for the hair salon avalina, showing the hairdresser like videos and pictures of what she wants - inspiration, photos and videos even and the hairdresser was so fantastic. It'S a place that I used to go to where um, I think hairdressers can just rent out certain spaces in there and one of my friends used to work here. She no longer does, but it's cool, like you know, life changes and all that good stuff. But avelina was wanting a wolf Cuts. Well, like I don't know hard to explain. I guess she wanted curtain bangs and face framing, but she wanted to keep her length and the hairdresser did a fantastic job. Avelina loves her hair. It took her a minute to get used to it because um, I have a few things, but you know how that can go. Eleanor uh just wanted like a oval shape in the back kind of like very simple hers, didn't take long at all, which was very nice, and she actually cut quite a bit of length off at least what is that four or five inches there yeah amazing. So I couldn't believe she wanted that much off, but it looks so fresh. It looks so sweet and she loves it just as well, so we were happy to finally get to the salon and get that done. Can you believe she cut so much off and it's still crazy long all right? The girls have fresh new Cuts. We did run to Target on the way home. I grabbed some more stuff than this. You know the kids needed more things for back to school, locker accessories. I can't locker accessories anyway. I grabbed these two water bottles - they're, not insulated, but better than nothing also did not cost me to earn a leg. So I guess I need to finish the task at hand and work on the second drawer, but before I do that, I am going to clear out this cabinet really quickly like we. Why am I keeping these in my head? I said: oh, the kids can do like arts and crafts on these. I can put them somewhere else. I thought about moving these lunch boxes in a drawer, but I just think they'll get all cluttered up so um. I don't know. I always like to keep a lunchbox on hand for backup, for just in case they accidentally leave it, but I also know that I don't need to store it here. Oh gosh, there's something in here from the end, oh paint. Well, that's bizarre! Better than rotting food that has happened to me before, where I have not cleaned the lunch boxes from the previous year and it sat all summer long. I do have a place where, in my laundry room where I can store the coolers and stuff, so that's where I'll store the extra lunch boxes, the spare lunch like do. I need three spare lunch boxes. I guess so all right, let's load up the new ones, feel so fresh in here. What that's a pretty nice sized lunchbox. Why does this one have a 17 tags? Oh, I need scissors, but I don't want to get off come on muscles. I can't do it all right well that Tag's gon na stay there. The containers that come with these is anyone actually ever use them. I wonder if they stack inside of each other okay, so this is nice. Three lunch boxes, plenty of space for them to breathe. They'Re not like squished and stuck in here, the kids can easily you know empty out their lunch box because really they empty it out by the sink, and then they can shove it right here and I feel, like that's perfect, perfect perfect, give you a little peek On what it looks, oh wow, so fresh, oh, my gosh HGTV, hit me up all right. Second space. That is not functioning well, I I'm not even sure I can open it all the way. So this is like a Dumping Ground drawer full of things that I'm sure, if I were to be able to stack inside of each other, would have taken up a quarter of this space in this drawer half the things we don't use like they're condiment, packets everywhere. Those used to be contained, but are no longer. I don't know why. So I'm just hiding that up and it felt good. I got rid of a lot of stuff in that drawer because I just realized, I don't use it. You know donated to someone who will I forgot to press record while I was filling this up, but I think this is everything I'm putting in there. It'S just like our overflow containers. It was for like leftover containers and produce containers. I still have some up here, but this is our leftover container pile try to find a matching lid to The Container like no thank you right and then this one can't find a lid. I also store these somewhere else. These are so big. I rarely use them. I feel like I can put them in a different cabinet this. I don't really use anymore. I can donate these. I have found that I never use they're. Still in the package I tried. I initially bought four uh lost one. Apparently I have the lid and the uh I don't know insert, but not the actual container, I'm sure it's somewhere. I don't know where, but um, I'm probably using it to like organize something, but I'm probably gon na donate those as well. Some of these don't have lids, some of them do but they're all like wonky and stuff. I find that I never use this. I'M going to donate that and really everything down here is not something I grab all the time, which is nice, because it's really low and who wants to bend down when they're 20 months pregnant. This is our overflow of sauce. Don'T tell me you don't have a container of takeout sauces. These are the spoons that go in here, but I typically don't put them in there because, like I don't know what, if they're not dry, all the way, some containers and more containers? Okay, let's move on to the water bottles. These are mainly my water bottles. The kids, water bottles are way up there and I'm just missing so many of them. I know, but I figured I would tell you this place up because, like I can put these above my fridge because I don't reach for them very often same with these. I bought these to make my own icy juice. You know because the stores are all out of them and apparently you can make some out of Kool-Aid packets. So next time we do Icees I'll have to yank those out, but they need to not be in like a high traffic area. So I'm going to just try to move things where they belong, to give myself more space for things that I use on the regular that I don't use on the regular honestly. I don't even know what this is. So I'm sitting here trying to decide the best course of action like do I get a basket? Do I get another water bottle holder, which is something that I don't want to buy because most of these like don't really fit, you know, or do I just deal and really I could maybe declutter some, but not really, because we use them and some of them Are for fun and for different occasions, everyone has their thing. I like water bottles. Anyway, I was trying to decide like do. I want to put the water bottles in with the soup, containers and stuff. I don't think so, but I'm still deciding because what happens here is oh crap. The top to this is up there. What happens here is that things get tipped over by just a slight touch of the hand. Also, this isn't completely level like. I don't know what the previous owners had here. It must have been something real heavy because it kind of like concaves in okay. Well, you know what I think: that's just gon na, be it again room to breathe room for the things to breathe, and this will just be for like larger water bottles and then the smaller water bottles all throw up there. If I could ever find them. I have a mess to clean up all right. Moving on to this cabinet, I know for a fact, I'm missing, probably 75 kids size, water bottles, black camo, Peppa Pig off the top of my head um, I'm gon na declutter this one, because I can't pack it in his lunch. It spills what a waste, but also with water bottles like we pack, some we bring them to the park, we forget them or Wentworth, is at soccer or we bring them to a friend's house and we pack a water bottle, and sometimes he forgets it. I can't blame him he's five years old. You know what I left my purse at Chipotle today. I love the hair is that I can blame pregnancy brain because I I am not the type of person to accidentally leave things somewhere, especially my purse. We left. I okay, they had a hair appointment and then I said: okay, let's eat something before we go to Target, so we stopped at Chipotle. We don't go out to eat much. I put my purse down left it got to Target realized where's. My purse. I had to drive all the way back. What so moral of the story is everybody makes mistakes. Everybody has birthdays, I'm not sure about this one either like oh and then the straw situation, that's a finasco for another day. I don't even think this one fits on here: nope, okay, well, there's that this is at least enough water bottles to get them through a few days. Okay, I give up. Let'S move on well good news. I was tidying the place up and I found the uh. Fourth yogurt container, so I can donate that okay, I'm going to throw together a treat for the kids, a Flintstone, Fruity Pebble a nice healthy treat, I guess they're breakfast muffins. I don't know they look fun and we're gon na try it out, and then I have a healthy, actual, healthier dessert, not a dessert, a snack for the kids. So you know life's all about balance, so you need baking powder flour, sugar, butter, Fruity Pebbles. Is that it and then milk? I don't have milk at least not in this fridge, but I bought this for the enchiladas, so I'm just gon na use it it's half and half use what you have. I know if you don't have flour, leave it out. If you don't have sugar, I don't care. If you don't have baking powder Life's a little foggy a little soggy. We need a quarter cup of butter, salt and that's a half a stick. You know what oh you know. What hello here I am. These aren't healthy and I'm pretty sure that they're not gon na taste good either. I don't know I mean what is a fruity pebble taste like by the way someone definitely got into this box. Oh, that's: full of flavor tastes like a chemical corn, flake I'd eat. It all right, I've changed my mind. These are gon na, be great half a cup of sugar quarter cup of butter cream that mess together, I feel like I, should have doubled the recipe. What is this going to make like two muffins? Probably for the best? Wait? No egg, two cups of flour, a little bit of salt, three teaspoons of baking powder. I think the half and half is Really Gon na Save this one cup of milk, all right there we go maybe a little more looks a little dry and then one cup of Fruity Pebbles. Well, it's colorful I'll give it that on the first day of school, I think we typically do donuts, which is probably the worst idea. It'S like your kids, get real hyped up on sugar while we dump you with your teachers for the first day, so you give them a really great impression. You know you just got ta make things fun all right, muffin tin, I don't know where my muffin tin is. Should we make donuts instead, all right, I'm gon na make some donuts, I feel like. I could use some love well. I am fresh out of my like spray oil, so I'm just going to take a paper towel and do a little of this and since I'm doing a donut pan, now I'm going to transfer this to a Ziploc bag. So I can squeeze it out and I'm just gon na cut the tip off. Oh, I probably cut too big of a hole nope. It is perfect. Perfect, I'm actually more excited about these than I was the muffins, so good, spoiler alert. These were fantastic. My kids gobbled them up, Alex gobbled them up, I'm sure they would have been just as fantastic or even more fantastic as a muffin. Maybe they would have been more. You know, Airy and honestly. I think I overcooked them because I didn't set a timer, nothing new. There uh have we met, but they nonetheless, they were fantastic and yeah. There'S that okay, those actually look real beautiful, I'm gon na give you a shot. Look at those beauties. You see they look so colorful. I know they're not cooked, but sometimes things look better when it's raw, okay, I'm gon na pop this into the oven, I'm not even following the recipe anymore. It says like 400 for 20 minutes, but I don't actually don't know I'll link it below or I'll try to no promises, I my best for you, but to 350, going to uh put them in for probably 10 minutes and check on them. I just touched why? Okay, next up, I'm going to make like four ingredients protein packed granola bars. I was going to share monster bites with you, which is basically just my energy ball recipe, but with M M's, because if you want the kids to eat something healthy, add a little bit of a treat to it. Okay, so the four ingredients - chocolate chips are optional M M's are optional. Why do people do this on Pinterest for ingredients and then they're like? Oh, you can also add XYZ, but it's optional anyway, um oatmeal protein powder, honey and peanut butter. This is the base and then you can add whatever the heck you want to. On top of this, if you like, coconut flakes, you go ahead and do that, if you like, I don't know. Oh, you know what I used to add to my granola bars everything seeds, dried fruit. Oh they were delicious, but the kids didn't love them. So I like to make it simple for them. Also M Ms. I think the real reason that I wanted to make these for the kids is so I could have the leftover M M's. Oh, my gosh, so simple, so satisfying three cups of Oats, one cup of protein powder I've been trying to work through mine for the longest time. Some people add their collagen powder to their coffee in the morning, but I don't drink coffee in the morning. It makes me want to drink coffee in the morning, so then I think well, should I take collagen vitamins. I don't know, but I should also mention that this is like. Oh, it's like vanilla protein powder, so I guess it's got a decent flavor in there. How about a little more okay, we got ta pack, these kids up, keep their bellies full one cup creamy smooth peanut butter. Oh wait! I think I'm supposed to microwave this! Oh okay! I don't want to get another Bowl. Do I really have to microwave it? I don't think so, yeah, I don't think I'm going to one cup of peanut butter, no need to measure just dump it in okay, that's about right and then half a cup of honey - and I would put this in a measuring cup too, but also don't want To clean that, so let's just watch this drizzle drizzle and that looks about good to me. If you don't like honey, you can use agave nectar or maple syrup. Okay, great now, I'm going to give this a mix. I'Ve resorted to using my hand instead of a spoon I figured. The heat of my hand is kind of like putting it in the microwave. It is a little crumbly and the recipe says if it's too crumbly, you can add a little bit of water, I'm probably Gon na Roll mine into balls and not bars, so I don't think it needs any water. I think it's fine, but I am going to add the main ingredient, some M M's. I was trying to look for a bag of mini M M's, but that wasn't working out for me also. I did take a taste test of this batter, of course, and it was great yeah. Nothing is sticking, but as soon as you mush it together, it sticks does it need more M M's. Maybe some chocolate chips a little bit of both give it a little bit of contrast and just like that it went from healthy to delicious. Okay, I am going to sit here and roll these into balls. While I eat my M M's, I wasn't sure if the kids would enjoy these for a couple of reasons. Well, mostly one reason all of the protein powder right, because sometimes protein powder can leave like a weird aftertaste or - and I think it's the type of protein powder that I had. That was just fantastic and, like I told you, I ate some and it was great. But I I don't know, I guess I'm kind of used to The Taste, my kids gobbled, these up, they're, so good and at first they were picking out the M Ms and then after they ate a couple, they were popping them in their mouths raving about how Good they were so these will be a new staple. They won't replace energy balls because nothing ever will because energy balls are amazing, but I like how these were only four ingredients. Also, next time I go to Costco, please remind me to pick up more honey because I'm sure I'll forget, because that's what happens when I don't make grocery lists well, these babies are done and they're looking mighty fine delicious and they do taste delicious. So I'm happy about these, the kids will surely gobble them all up, and these came out of the oven too. I have yet to try one, but I guess I will try that one right there yeah they're great. It'S like a a cookie kind of well now that those are done and um I'm sweating. I was going to have the kids make these cookies and I still might - I don't know if I do I'll insert some clips, but I found these is that upside down? Of course it is. I found these at Publix and it's just a cute little cookie set yeah. Could you make the cookies on your own sure, but will I absolutely not also I'm sure you can get these little worms and glitter things and leaves off of Amazon and I say glitter, but it's like sparkles or whatever? Oh? Is there icing in there? There should be some icing yeah, it looks like it comes with a little tutorial, but of course kids can make it their own, but I just thought this was cute for back to school cute little thing to decorate, also the cookies inside. Listen. I don't know about this specific brand, but we've done the like. You know already made pretty cutesy cookies and they are horrible. The making the cookies and also I find that kids about taste as long as there's sugar on it. I was gon na make some breakfast enchiladas, but honestly, I'm like wiped I'm sweating for no good reason. I can't believe back to school is already happening. Summer is over bon voyage, but I did want to share a couple of things that we did this Summer, that I I normally do a vacation Vlog, but I didn't this year. So I'll share a few Clips with you here now we went to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and that is always one of my favorite places to go. I don't know I feel like it's just so fun. Seeing not, I mean they're, obviously not real life celebrities, but you can get a feel of like how tall they are in real life and they look incredible. They look amazing. The kids always have fun running around. I feel like the older. My kids get the more fun that they have at places like that. So uh we had a lot of fun like you know, taking pictures and videos and stuff. So that was a really good time and we went on hold on. I have to interject, because I have so many clips from these places that we went to and I didn't realize how much I filmed and I felt like I was hardly ever filming this specific spot. We were trying to like you know, get this whole glitter thing to go. We couldn't figure it out at first, but eventually we got it so cool. I love how interactive it is and there's you know like Beyonce you saw there was music jamming behind her so and then this guy Sean Mendes, his music video, was playing. So it's just a fun time in there and then on Bogie's air boat tours and I got ta tell you something: I've never been on an airboat before, but one of our cousins had and she was raving about it and it was very cool. So we were basically in were we in the Everglades. We were in like floor, like you know, swampland Florida just riding along and we saw a couple of alligators, which was crazy, like they were just hanging out right there. We saw a lot of wildlife, a lot of creatures, some snakes and they also had a fun activity for the kids. When we came back on land they had uh like mining, so the kids had a lot of fun with that. They still have their gems and they talk about them and they play with them and they look at them and they had a great time doing that. As well, so, if you're looking for places to go in Orlando, like you know, sometimes going off a beaten path, a little bit you're gon na find these gem places to go to that'll, really surprise. Surprise you and you're gon na like have a little Adventure too. So we had a lot of fun doing that and then the kids also enjoyed sea life, which is like a little aquarium. The kids always like going into the bubbles and looking at the fish, and they also have a spot at the end. Where you can, you know kind of pet, the some sea life creatures, so the kids had a good time with that as well. I think inside there's a playground that they have a good time on. It'S always fun learning and exploring and doing all those fun things. So hey speaking of Clips interjecting again, I can't believe Alex got most of these. All of these clips really and the things that he got like look at that look at the eyeballs on that, it's so beautiful, oh, my gosh, the ocean creatures are just so stunning. Am I right man, I love ocean creatures, the sea life. I tried to cut these clips down, but I couldn't cut them anymore more. I said you guys need to see these cool things. We also went to Wonderworks and this place is always the best. My kids, whenever we talk about going to Orlando, even not like we'll, wake up and say, okay Wentworth, what would you like to do today? Is there something that you're like wanting to Wonderworks every time, I'm like I'm not driving to Orlando? I'M sorry, but my kids. Look forward to coming here every year, it's like their favorite place. It is a very cool place, but out of all the things to do, this is their favorite, the Bubble, Lounge or bubble area. It'S just so much fun. They have so many activities for the kids. So much to explore it's like a kids museum type of feel, but they also have um like rides and you'll see a couple of the rides they. This is new, where you can like throw balls, and you can pick a game to play, and then this twister game I mean just they're, constantly evolving. They had a lot of new things um since the last year that we went so it was just a great old time, as it always is the kid oh and different ages, so, like Meredith, had fun my two-year-old, but also my 11 year old, had a blast Like equally had the same amount of fun, do you know what I mean so it they have stuff for everyone. If you're wondering this is one of the rides um, I'm gon na pass on that, I'm actually surprised. Javelina went on that and then laser tag is something that they always Rave about. That'S wentworth's favorite going into the laser tag, so we always make sure to do that and it's always fun like at the end of the game, because my family can be kind of competitive and we look at the points and everyone's just trying to you know, get Each other, and then this is Eleanor's favorite, the ropes course the climbing course all it listen. It doesn't look like it's that far away, I'm zoomed in I'm on the floor, they're like 500 stories up and there's more levels to the rafters. It is it. It looks. Unassuming but once you get up there, it is terrifying, I'm surprised it's the first year, avelina did it. She'S walked up there before and then changed her mind and said, and then Alex same with him. It'S the first year that he stayed up there for a little bit so um I didn't go. Obviously I was pregnant, so I stayed down with Meredith, but I have been up there before and it is crazy, crazy cool. Also we went to other places too. We went to theme parks and water parks. I shared most of it. On my Instagram. I didn't take a ton of footage, a ton of video, but I did grab a few of these clips um you just everyone had such a good time and I slowed down this one clip of Meredith, because I think it's just so funny her face is like Terrified, but as soon as I got her out of the water she wanted to do it again. I love it. Let'S go again, so everyone had a blast. I'M sad summer is over, but it can't last forever right. The Florida heat will last oh forever, but summer will not, but thank you guys so much for watching and hanging out with me. I hope you enjoyed your time here today. If you did subscribe, put a little happy in your day. I'Ll see you next time. Bye!
