Hey guys it's Kaitlyn B and today I'm going to be doing a little bit of a different video. Today, I'm going to be bringing you guys, along with me in my latest hair and everybody's, been following me around my youtube channel, for you know a couple years now, then you may know that I haven't really done that much to my hair, I'm pretty boring in Terms of experimenting with my hair, so two days ago I actually decided to get tape in extensions, and I don't know if you guys have heard of tape in extensions, but they've been pretty new. I'Ve been researching them a bunch over the past few months and just looking into the best brand to get and where to get it done, and I finally decided to do it. So I wanted to kind of take you guys along with me. You guys are looking to get taken extensions and you have no idea what the installation process is, how long it takes all that kind of stuff. I will answer all of that in this video. Is it meant to be an at home like tutorial on how to apply tape in extensions, because, to be honest, I don't recommend doing them at home. I definitely recommend going to a hairstylist who knows what they're doing as far as my history goes with extensions. A lot of you guys take my extensions for my real hair and I've been wearing it clip in extensions for most of the past two years or so religiously. A lot of you guys will probably like oh, my gosh. Your hair doesn't even look longer look shorter, but technically it is shorter compared to my clip in extensions that I have there quite a bit longer than my tape pins, but they're a lot longer fuller than my natural hair, and so that's why I will show you Guys, a before and after of my hair, without any extensions and then right after I got my Phenix inch, I wanted a more permanent solution because I always wore my clip in extensions and I just didn't really feel as confident without them. I, like the fullness that they give my hair mostly over the length, but I also love the length when I curl my hair. So that's why I chose to wear clippings for so long, but that's also the reason why I decided to seek a more permanent solution. So, like I said, that's why I decided to look up tape extensions because I saw that Lauren Conrad was wearing them and home girl loves her Lauren Conrad. So I recently got into contact with Bombay hair, and this is the brand of extensions that I have for my tapes and they also have clip in extensions. So you can check that out as well and a bunch of hair tools. I used one of their curling irons to curl my hair this morning, so I have a wet in here, so you guys can see what it looks like. So this is the lighter color and in my box I got two bundles one of the chestnut and then also the darker hair, so that it just looks more natural and blended. In perfectly with my hair, like honestly, the color I didn't have to diet. It just is like spot-on with my natural hair color, who knows you Bombay, because this is like absolutely perfect, so the reason why I really wanted to try the Bombay Chapin extensions is because, after doing a lot of research, I found that it's really good. To have 100 % virgin remy hair, especially if you're looking to diet. If you have a hard to match hair color, though this is going to be a really nice thing for you, another plus side to tape in extensions over other extensions is that they can. Last a lot longer, depending on how thick your hair is naturally will depend on how many bundles you should get, and I got two bundles. Basically, once your hair starts growing out, your tapes are going to obviously start growing with it, and once it gets to be about 2 or 3 months, depending on how fast your hair grows. Naturally, then, you will just have to go and reinstall the tapes, but you don't have to get new hair, which is really nice. All you have to do is get new tape adhesive and usually, if your Hair Stylist, they will already have tape for you. My hair stylist did Shayla shadow to you, but you can also get reinstallation tape on the Bombay website. There'S no heat or chemicals that need to adhere this to your hair, but basically, once it's in your hair you're going to want to wait about two or three days to wash your hair. That'S just going to let the tape really set and bond to your hair. The actual hair itself can last years so just depending on how you take care of it as far as how it sits on your head, it is so much better than clippings it's it's so flat on your head, which is really nice and it's clear tape. So you really can't even see it to show you guys what I mean. This is one of my taping extensions. So, as you can see, it is just taped on to my hair, which is such a weird concept, and if you guys are wondering we did cut my extensions about two and a half inches, you guys want longer than my hair is the tape and extensions do Come a couple inches longer than this, and it's curled right now, so it's a little bit shorter, but just so you guys know they come pretty long and then you can cut up shorter, which is great. I will link Bombay hair down description box below, if you guys want to check them out. They also clip in extensions and a bunch of hair tools, so go check them out. I highly recommend their tape and extensions and also their curling wands. Those are the only products that I've tried so far from them, but I'm definitely interested in priming more things. I also did a bunch of research on where to get my tapings installed, because I was not about to do it myself. So, if you guys are in the Nebraska area, I highly recommend going to Shayla Sexton from Salon chic. I will include all of her information in the description box below, but she is awesome. She did such an amazing job and it only took like less than 2 hours to put all of these in and also give my hair a little trim, she's, so sweet and if you're watching the Shayla, I'm going to say it.
