Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so I thought I'd show you how I curl my hair, whether or not I'm wearing extensions, but also how I add extensions, just for a little bit of extra length and volume, and I'm obsessed, I'm so back on the extension Train you guys, so if you want to see how I got this hair, then just keep on watching. As you can see, my hair is definitely grown in the last 6 months because I had it cut more up here. It'S it's still like a cute length to wear on its own, but I just feel like it's like getting to that awkward length. Where I don't know, I think I'm just kind of bored of it. It'S been six months and I'm just bored of this length. I want a little bit more of that like Rachel length from friends. You know I mean anyways. I have my good old trusty luxy, hair extensions. These are the dirty blonde color. I get the 16 inch length just because my hair is cut very bluntly. That 18th length would be just so long and I feel like they do naturally taper at the end. So it's just obvious with long and I didn't want a lot of length. I just wanted a little bit of life more volume, so it got the shorter I'm set and then I've cut them a good two inches anyways mmm inch and a half so they're like 1415 and inches in length, and it makes the world of a difference. So the section off the first part of my hair just below my ears, I find that this part of my hair is really thick and blunt just because it hardly is touched by heat. It doesn't see the Sun, so it tends to be the healthiest section of your hair now, because my hair has grown out a little bit and it's not as blunt as it was when I first got it cut. I don't have to do that. Little trick where you take the bottom section and tie it up really tightly like braids at first and then pin it and then put your extensions on that's a great tip. If you do have a very blunt cut and you need to like blend in your extensions. Just a little bit more seamlessly, I'm just gon na go right and clip these in right on top, because they're only like an inch longer anyways, so they were previously curled. You can tell they're not like the most perfect match. I find when it comes to belongings. You have so many different tones in your hair anyways, and when I got my hair done there in January, she did put a lot more low lights in it, just so that it could grow a lot more. Naturally - and I don't have to get it done as much or this definitely has more of like a golden lighter tone, but at all times to blend out anyway. So I take two of the three clip weft and I clip them right on top of each other. So that there's good thickness in this piece - and I just clip it right on top of that section - I don't tease this section, because I find that my hair holds it pretty well, not much longer than my actual hair. Like my hair stops here and then you have like about an inch and a bit left nothing new here. This is my trusty squeaky t3. I believe it's an inch and a quarter. It is a curling iron, see what I mean when it comes to squeaky. I'M gon na definitely put this over music because it is so squeaky. I'Ve been using this for two years now, literally like the only thing I really go to. Unless I use a straightener for like a different type of curl, you can get so many different looks out of this one curling iron like it is so loved. I don't think it's even white anymore. So the way I'm gon na curl this section because we're gon na change it up every section - is all away from my face. So I'm gon na take an inch thick piece of hair and open up the clasp turn it wrap it around now, because there is a lot of extensions in this section of our head. I'M gon na hold it on just a little bit longer. Now I'm gon na unwrap it, but because the clasp has the hair, it's not gon na fall out, pull it down, wrap it again and I'm keeping the smallest amount of my hair out, unwrap it and then pull at the bottom. It'S a very like tight. Looking loan curl, let it set let it stay in place because we were gon na brush it out and play with it at the end of this. I want it to and set with all that heat there, so it lasts as long as possible. So for this section I'm gon na curl, all of them away from my face, so you can see that technique actually gives you length in your hair. You can see here. It just looks a lot, fuller and fluffier with this really elongate to the hair. Even though there's a wave slash curl in it, we're going to do the exact same technique, only curling away from my face on this side. Before we move on to the next section, I'm going to just spray all that in place so that it doesn't move and it really just locks in the curl that we just did now. The middle section is definitely a thicker chunk of hair. This is where most of my hair becomes the same length, so I can go a little bit higher, so I'm gon na go from like the end of my eyebrow or like my temple area, and go right across one thing. I forgot to do in the first section of hair was spray it with the way memory mist. I love this stuff. I have like it's so little of it left, but it just helps protect your hair from the heat, but also makes me hairstyle that you'd create last way longer. So I'm gon na do out in this section this volume weft comes in handy, it's four clips on it, we're just gon na pop it right. On top again, I'm not going to tease this section we're gon na leave that, for the last couple of clips, we're gon na still use that curling technique that I used on the first section of hair. With this section now we're gon na go back and forth with the direction of the curls. So always around the front of your face. You want the curls to go away from your face. It just frames it a little bit nicer, but then you're gon na rotate pieces. So after I go away from my face, the next section of hair, I'm gon na curl towards my face and then away from my face towards in the face. Just until you know you get to the back of your head, so hopefully I don't make sense, but you'll see it in motion anyways. We have one last set of extensions to put in, and I'm gon na put them right at the front of my face, because if you are a fellow blonde or someone who dies your hair, but it tends to be a little bit more on the thin side. At the front of your face, just because it gets the most attention - and you know it's just a little bit thinner there, so I like to get a little bit more volume in the front of my face. I'M gon na go up a little bit higher at the top of my temples, but then go down. So it's not fin right here in case my hair parts, and you can see the extension that's a little trick. You can go high here because naturally I have really thin short pieces of hair anyway, so it will part there but then bring the line down, because I do have that thin section of hair right here. I do need a little bit of extra help with holding that clip in so I'm going to tease my hair right there and then also a little bit for the other clip again on this side right up to the root I'm gon na go in and clip It into place voila same at this side. Perfect. Those two pieces honestly make the world of a difference and same as section number two curl the front framing pieces of her face away and then vice versa for every different piece. Now we have the final section of hair. I wear a middle part most of the time, so I'm just going to split all the way back and same with the third away from your face in the beginning and then alternate pieces. I do that, of course, the battery light started to blink as soon as I started my top layer, so you guys already knew how to do it, so I just thought I'd turn it off to get as much battery time. It'S possible: I'm gon na take a normal brush and completely brush through everything we just curled and it creates such a different vibe, but doesn't look as intense and curly like really go for it and make sure you're brushing every single curl out. You can see it just looks a lot softer a lot fuller too so same on this side and see what I mean like when I held up those extensions initially beside my hair. They looked a little bit different in color and once they're all put in. They really blend out just because blondes have so many different tones in their hair, so really just works. So that is it. You can play around with how you want it styled. We did more hair spray, especially in the front pieces. Sorry, I'm rushing here, don't it died, voila how I curl my hair / ad extensions, especially if you have a short blunt cut like myself. This is a way to make it look. Seamless add a little bit of length, a lot of volume and a nice little wife hope you guys enjoyed it and I'll see you guys in the next video bye.
