Hello, everyone welcome back to my bathroom just kidding. Welcome back to my channel today i will be washing my kinky straight tape and extensions by curls queen. I do have a previous video on how i installed these paper extensions, and this is the two week period of me having them in so i figured i'll just go in and give them a nice little wash for my work week. So i can have some fresh hair and my scalp is itching really bad. So, as you can see, my scalp is very dirty. Um yeah, that's just it! It'S just very dirty! So i'm going to start by detangling the hair. Before i hop in the shower and wash my hair now, i only lost one strand throughout this whole process. I lost one strand of the tape bands so out of 80 tape, ins that are in my head. I only lost one strand, so we're going to jump into washing i'm using the shea moisture, strengthening and restore shampoo. It is a sulfate free shampoo, so that was the only one that i really had available at the time to use, and i heard that you're supposed to use a sulfate free shampoo to wash your tape ends because i guess sulfate has alcohol in it or something And alcohol is used to remove the tape ends. So, as you can see, my hair was already wet and i just started washing, but this is actually the second wash what i did at the beginning. I just let the water run in my hair for like five minutes to get it really really wet to rinse some of the dandruff out, and then i went in and washed it the first time. I failed to press record the first time i washed, but it did get sudsy and um. It was a really good wash the first time, so this is actually the second wash and it does feel like i'm washing my own hair like don't be scared to wash these don't be scared to scrub. Your scalp don't be scared to do none of that because they barely budged. Like i said, i lost one of them. I didn't lose anymore, there's one hanging off in the back, so i'm guessing that's where the the one that was connected to that i lost um but other than that. The rest of them are still intact in my head and it's very surprising to me, so i'm just gon na continue to wash my hair, and this is going to be one of those voice over videos where i'm in and out, and thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video and yeah stay tuned for the end result. Actually what i wanted to jump in and say is um. My shower is not one of those showers where you can remove the head and you know bring the shower head close to your head to wash, but my shower pressure is very high. It may not look like it from the video, but my pressure on my shower head is really high, so washing my hair like this was not a problem. Getting all the soap out was not a problem at all. So you'll see that i rinsed everything out my scalp was really clean at the end of it all and yeah. I just wanted to hop in and say that also when i go in to condition it i'm using this dove conditioner, because it was the only thing that was sitting in my shower at the time. So it's like a dove serum conditioner. It had it had slipped, but it really didn't it kind of worked as a like, a hair serum or something like that. But i mean i guess it was good because it didn't cause any slippage or anything, and i only applied it to you know my ends and the tape ends ends. I didn't put any on my scalp because i didn't want it to cause. The tape ends to slip, so i'm just going to continue to rinse my hair and then we're going to go in with some conditioner living in this crazy time, putting back the pieces, so i'm going in with my denman brush. This is one brush that i got from like family dollar or something like that, but i use this throughout the whole process, meaning i use it through the conditioning process, the detangling process, the blow drying process and just throughout the whole process, so that i can keep Track of the shedding, as you can see, it is some hairs inside of the denman brush and i'm going to show you what um you know what all hair came out of my head. It wasn't a lot surprisingly. It was not a lot of shed hair in that denman brush, so i'm just going to wash the conditioner out, and this conditioner actually worked really well with this hair like it, it wasn't heavy it wasn't too heavy. It wasn't hard to wash out it wasn't. You know like those creamy conditioners, and i actually like it. I don't even know why i haven't been using it but um. This was a really good conditioner to use for these, so i highly recommend it and i will link it in the description box below in case you get some tape, ins and you might want to use both the shampoo and the conditioner that i used as you Can see, i only lost well, you can't see, but i only lost one tape in from the back. The tape in that that one was connected to is actually hanging, i'm going to take it out very soon. I just didn't want to yank my hair out, so i'm going to take the proper precautions to take it out, but other than that i lost no other tape ends. There are approximately 80 tape into my head. I used both bundles on my previous video and yeah. It i just recommend the products that i use, because clearly they work so um just gon na dry off my hair, i'm sorry bring my hair out and then we're gon na move on to blow drying and flat ironing my hair, my so i'm gon na go Into my scout, with some of this tea tree mint scalp treatment - and i use this scalp treatment because it's not very oily, it's more of a water-based oil, but it does soothe your scalp and make everything nice and cool when you were. You know just in case you're suffering from an itchy, scalp and um, so this first section um, because i lost one tape in back there. I did go very gentle and you know run my denman brush through as gently as i could and just blow dry on medium heat. I didn't want to use high heat because i didn't know if the high heat would melt the adhesive and, as you can see, there's still some dandruff flakes like on their hair, but those kind of come out with blow drying. But my scalp is pretty much clean for the most part and cleaner than it was because she's a little beginning. It was just disgusting, so i'm just going to go in and blow dry and then flat iron. My hair and yeah don't be scared to blow dry either. Don'T be scared to use your denman brush and blow dry as long as you're, not going above the tape to like you know, brush it or scrape the tape down. Just you know just blow dry. That thing you know i i was treating this as if it was my real hair child, okay, so yeah, i'm just gon na continue to blow dryer and then i'm gon na go in and flat out my hair and please stay tuned for the end result. I wan na be free. Oh, i forgot to mention that i did not go in with a heat protectant on my hair that conditioner that i used acts as a heat protectant. I did not want to weigh the hair down in any way at all. I will go in before i flat iron it and use a heat protectant on my hair, because i just i don't like my hair to be oily and weighed down, so i did not go in with the heat protectant and i blew dry on medium heat anyway. So i figured you know why going with the heat protectant um but yeah, that's it! I just wan na be free. I'M sorry! I just wan na be free. I wan na be free, i'm is i wan na be free living, so we are finally done the blow dryer process. This is all the hair that shed it throughout the whole process. Guys this is it, that's it that's all. So i think i feel like that's pretty good, so the hair - actually, i haven't - had any problems with the hair um since having it in so i'm going to go in with this anti-breakage serum and my trusty dusty foxy bay flat irons. The flat irons only have one temperature, so i couldn't even tell you it what temperature it's on as i'm flat ironing, so i'll link them in the description bar just in case you like them, but you cannot temperature control on these flat irons. You just turn them on and go so i'm just going to go in and flat out my hair start with my real hair first and then the tape instead, my real hair and the tape ends, and until the process is complete living in this crazy time. Putting back the pieces of my mind, i'm i just wan na be be free. Is i wanna be free living for weekends? Wishing i could take a break from this world running on a hamster wheel, but searching for something i can't feel i just wanna be i'm. I wan na be free living in this crazy time. Putting back the pieces of my mind, i just wan na be free. I wan na be free, wanna, be free. I wan na be free living for weekends. Wishing i could take a break from this. I just wanna be i'm finally, so this pretty much completes my flat iron process and do you see the luster in this hair? It'S so clean, it's so beautiful! It'S so shiny! I did one pass with the flat irons and it came out so well. Once again, i do recommend these tape, ins and yeah. That'S it that's all.
