In today's video we are testing out a product, that's supposed to save our hair extensions. Oh my goodness, i'm just like staring at this banana, but you might be wondering you guys. Why are we in your kitchen casey? And you know what wonderful question you need? A microwave this product uses different methods that i have personally never heard of before. What'S the bag for not entirely sure it's fun, y'all won't even know what happened. Straighten yourself out there we go welcome back to my channel today is a video for all my hair extension people out there. This video will hopefully save us thousands of dollars. Well hundreds of dollars. If you do hair extensions like i do, but for some of you thousands of dollars, depending on where you buy your hair, if you buy extensions, you know that the upfront cost of the hair is the most expensive part of hair extension. So you want to make them last as long as possible so that you can just keep reusing them using these in them and then like push off that cost of buying another set for as long as possible. Oh, my goodness, i'm just like staring at this banana! So, are we like tilted straighten yourself out? Oh my gosh. We see the banana again we're gon na, ignore that. Let me just fast forward into the product that i'm going to be talking about, and that is for holly extension mask with seaberry. This is how you sell it, i'm probably saying it incorrectly, but this is a mask that is meant for hair extensions, so i'm very excited to see how this is going to work out. If you watch my videos often you know that 99 of the time i have extensions in, i love my hair extensions. It just makes me feel like me, and naturally my hair is just not going to be this way. If you've had hair extensions, you know that they get dry and little like just to get naughty. You might be wondering you guys. Why are we in your kitchen casey? And you know what wonderful question with this hair mask right here you need a microwave and it also came with some bags. What'S the bag for not entirely sure haven't, read the directions, yet i will read them in one moment: i'm missing a step, but we're gon na i'm gon na jump backwards and forward. It'S fine, y'all, won't even know what happened, but in case you're wondering what my hair looks like this is the hair extension grouping that i'm going to be using this product on? I have two sets. This is one set. This is my second set. I'Ve used this set twice. This set has been used once so i get my hair done in like 10 days. This one will be coming out and i'd like to have a second set. That'S all ready to go, and i can just put it right back. I'M gon na be right back because apparently you have to wash these and then you put them in the bag. Just just give me a moment, okay, so i washed my extensions and i use old plaques. It looks naughty but i'm afraid to brush through extensions when they're wet. What we're gon na do is put this mask on the extensions we put it in a bag, and then we put it in the microwave for 60 seconds. So, let's start that process. Let'S open this on up, it smells very fresh. Just looks like this nice thick conditioner. Honestly. I probably want to use this on my own hair and i'm sure you can, because hair is hair. This was once on someone's head now. It'S got mine, so we're just going to take a clump of it and put it on the extensions i'm just going to lather it in this. Oh guys, it is really smooth, like you know, when you're putting conditioner in your hair and you're like this is doing something. That'S what this feels like you guys can see that it is fully coated. Oh, i should have opened the bag before i started doing this. Now my hands are all slippery now putting the extensions in the bag we're going to seal it up and microwave it for 60 seconds. Um bring you with me: okay, going oh okay, guys so we're putting the mask in the microwave. Let'S, let's go over to my microwave 60 seconds: it's one minute! Okay, this is very, very hot, i'm gon na! Let it cool for just a moment and then i will take it out of there. It says to take it out of the bag rinse it off and let it air dry. So i'm gon na give you guys an update in the morning as to whether i think this will help save your hair extensions if it is a must-have product for those of you who have hair extensions and who keep them in pretty much all year round. So let me just wait for this cool down i'll rinse it out, and then i will be back in the morning to give you guys my final thoughts. Okay, guys, i am back a day later, and i know i mentioned in my video that i was gon na rinse them out that night, let them air dry. Well, i read the directions and it was saying that you leave them in for 10 to 20 minutes and then my mind directly went to if i leave it in for 10 to 20 minutes. You know what's better than 10 to 20 minutes 24 hours. So i let them be in the bag for 24 hours, rinse them out, and now i let them hit air hair dry. I let them air dry, and this is what they are looking like. They are very shiny and soft. I noticed the most improvement at the bottom of the hair, which is the most important because for some reason that dries out the fastest. I think - because it's really far away from my scalp so maybe sometimes like the top part of this - gets the natural oils. For my hair, but the bottom part has like no chance of that when it is this long, it's a very important that you use oils in your hair extensions while you're wearing them. Now, if you have keratin hair extensions, you don't want to put those oils close to the top of your head, but you definitely can put them on like midway down like that and it will really help them. Last the longest i looked into this product and the seaberry oil is the number one thing that they say is helping these extensions. It'S the world's strongest antioxidant oil, and it has a lot of omega-3s. If you watch my videos, you know that i used to use olive oil. I, like put my hair in a bag, put olive oil in that bag and just like leave it there for like honestly at one time i left in there for like two months and i rinse it out. They'Re soft. However, olive oil is really oily and that sounds so stupid to say, but truly like it leaves this greasy feeling on the hair. It kind of looks like you haven't washed your hair in like three weeks. That'S how nasty it looks, but it goes away as you wash it. However, as you're washing it it's starting to get a little bit drier. The nice thing about this mask is that it leaves it soft without giving that like nasty oil feel and the extensions aren't tangling when they were in the bag before they were tangled, like it was kind of gross. I was kind of afraid that i wouldn't be able to use them again, but they aren't nice and shiny. They really feel so nice. I think it was a genius idea to have those moisture lock bags. I got two of them and they say that they last five times each. So i have ten. So that's gon na last me a really long time, seeing as i wear hair extensions for a period of three to four months so pretty much. I will only need it like three times a year, plus you get a lot in the jar. So if you a lot of hair, like don't worry that you're gon na go through the jar in one go, i did leave them in my like purple shampoo mask once, but that's a small jar and y'all that jar alone is sixty dollars. So i'd rather have this big jar that can use multiple times. If you are like me and you wear hair extensions all the time. I think that this should be a staple for you. It'S that moisture, lock bag that i think is genius and then with the seaberry and the oil, and you can even like put other oils in the bag like make your own, like mixture and put it in the microwave and it'll seal it and lock it all Into the hair and keep it moisturized a lot longer, they mentioned you should be using this consistently, especially if you have clip in hair extensions, it's a little harder when they're in our hair, like i can't put my hair in the microwave, but what i did was. I did put this on my hair in the shower. I wrapped it up in a bun, let it go for probably 20 minutes and then rinsed out and the hair did feel a lot softer at the end, which is what i need, because this one is starting to feel quite a bit dry at the end. I'M truly impressed because i have tried out a lot of different masks on hair extensions, because i've always wanted mine to last long. Let me i'm going to be right back and i'm going to show you guys what a different pair of my hair extensions look like and i might try it on them. They'Re brunette. So i can't wear them right now, anyways, but i might try it on them and just see what happens, because they are in terrible condition like beautiful. Let'S go get terrible! Okay! You guys are going to get a laugh out of this. If you're, looking at this you're like casey, how do you know that those are in like good condition and that that's like what they're supposed to look like? Let me show you what bad conditioned hair looks like this. This versus this - i don't even know if you can like revive this - like i don't even know why i held on to this, but i tried a lot of different things to make this nice and it didn't happen. Even my olive oil tricks was like. Oh heck. No, that is so fast what i can repair, so it's very very, very, very important that you get some hair masks that are really going to make these extensions last their longest because y'all this is like i mean, there's a pack of them. This is a few pieces. This is like 300. This is actually a cheaper one. This is only like 150, so i hope you guys had a a wonderful weekend and i have so many more videos coming for you guys. I have one that, like i, don't it's a makeup kind of related, but not that's the hint right there like it's makeup related, but not can you guess what i'm talking about? I'Ve watched a lot of these recently and i feel like i can give a good opinion on it and have a lot of really fun self-tanning videos coming up. So if you're, a person who watches my hair extension videos and my tanning videos, you know in this video that i have a really cool one coming up. Tati actually did it years ago, but i hope you guys have a wonderful day.
