Hello, everyone and welcome back to another video, so today you might be wondering why does she have damp hair? Why does she look like a toe right now? Well, it's because i highlighted my hair the other day and quite a decent portion of my hair melted. Oh no yeah, that was my stupidity. I overlapped my bleach. I knew it was possible so now i have extra short bits on this side and i have less hair this side because i essentially have more hair this length than i do my actual length. But i refuse to cut it so my plan is, i have ordered some hair extensions. They are arriving today and today. Olaplex number three arrived now. This is essentially the weaker version of what you get in the salon, so i've also ordered the salon version, which is stronger, but that's not coming for a couple of days, and i really wanted to get something started to make my hair as healthy as it can Be after all, the damage i've done anyway. So essentially, this isn't a conditioner. This is a bond builder. So what elaplex does? Is it rebonds your hair, where it's most fragile to make it have like its best integrity possible so like what they'll do with a hair salon? Is they'll like tug your hair, to see how strong your hair is um and then you can tell how strong it is and if it will handle bleach, etc, etc. So you can use once per week. This is actually suitable for damaged, hair and completely virgin hair. So use once per week, but for damaged hair use. Two to three times per week. You apply on damp towel dried hair. This is damp towel, dried hair. You apply a generous amount from scalp to ends until the hair is thoroughly saturated and you can leave it on for a minimum of 10 minutes but longer if desired. Now i know some people leave it on overnight. I know some people leave it on for up to half an hour um, but i'm just gon na it's about what time is it it's currently 20 to four in the afternoon? Sorry, if you can hear the storm outside and my neighbor, but it's currently really really hot, so i've got to keep the windows open, um and i'm like sweltering, underneath these lights as well um. But what i'm going to do is i'm going to put this on and just rinse it off with shampoo and conditioner when it's time for bed, i'm going to braid my hair, so it's in its most like safest place, if you like, i'm going to put it In a protective hairstyle, that's what i meant for bed so i'll put this in! Leave it in the next few hours, wash it off shampoo condition and then braid it for sleep. And then i will come back tomorrow and i'll. Show you exactly what the results are. So here's a bit of a before i had like an instagram snap, like story thing going on here, so i'll show you what it looked like today. You can tell it's very fragile and very like frazzled near the ends, so we're now going to apply this we're going to go through my hair with generous amounts. I'M gon na get a sectioning clip, so i can make sure that i'm distributing it evenly. So i've got two sectioning clips and i've got two different combs, i'm gon na see which one my hair likes the most um. I think it's gon na be the one without the end on so i'm just gon na take a section of my hair. I'M going to be very, very delicate with it. I can see my hair all over the floor. I am seriously damaging my hair, but this is how we're going to not damage it and save what is left of it, because i do have a lot of hair. Thankfully, otherwise i'd be in trouble but, as you can see, kind of i'm in trouble, so we're going to just gently brush through the hair really really delicately. My hair is like my prized possession. Why do i do so much to it like growing up? I was always known as the person that had really good hair, and you know, like naturally nice hair and i like my natural color, but my theory is in five years time. I'M not gon na be able to dye my hair because i'm gon na be having kids and i can't put chemicals into my body that don't need to be in there. So i'm gon na ruin my hair for the next five years, essentially and then grow it all out. While i have a kid so or four don't tell rob, i'm just brushing out my hair, nice and gently and then we're going to apply our first bit of olive black, so it came sealed. What'S an interesting texture, it's a lot! It'S a lot thinner than i expected: don't get it in the cups in your hands. My fingers are now stinging, but i'm going to put this all through my hair. I have a feeling i'm going to use this whole bottle from one application. That can't be right. Can it maybe my hair is just about damaged um, but i'm just massaging that in nicely and then we'll give it a bit of a comb, i'm very dubious about combing, my hair, while it's wet, but i want to make sure that it's evenly distributed. Oh that goes through. I can never normally brush my hair that easy when it's wet, but obviously you know olaplex is professional. Did you hear that it's still happening? I was literally in the swimming pool and then i ended up like going and just sunbathing for a little bit, because i can't tan my legs while i'm in the pool and then i say swimming pool, it's like an eight-foot paddling blow-up pool, i'm not rich. Far from it, she says using olaplex with her last pennies but yeah. I was in the pool and literally like i heard this rumble. I was like okay, i'll just sunbathe for a bit, get my legs tanned and then and then it just got darker and darker and more more cloudy, but it's still really sunny. So i'm kind of confused what's going on right now, so i am losing like some hair. It'S so gross! I'M sorry that i showed you that, but it's the truth of it. I'M really um. Looking at all my hair on the floor, so i'm just combing through gently through this row, i'm really excited to see how well the hair extensions match. I don't want to feel like. I can't use enough of this because i've got you know one and two coming so i'm gon na be quite liberal with it and not be too afraid to use it um. But i have a feeling. This whole bottle might be one application on my length of hair because it goes past my bra strap. So it's kind of long, i'm hoping the hair extensions that i got as well are long enough. I got 20 inches and i think that's the same length as my hair, because i didn't necessarily want to get them for length, which is what i've always wanted. Extensions for, because i've always wanted like the longest hair, but i actually just got them. So i have thickness this time. I'M gon na take another section of my hair. Oh, that might be my my amazon parcel. I just arrived. That might be my hair extensions, so we're going to take this section, i'm just going to repeat that through all of my hair uh, i am back. It is currently a couple of hours later. I left it on my hair for about an hour and then i washed it off, because i read it actually maxes out at anything. It can do up to 45 minutes. So i did the maximum time and then i'm not gon na lie. It feels really strong. Just from like the one application - and it's really nice to see that my waves are trying to come in um because it does try to accommodate for all different types of hair and i've not seen these waves come naturally in so long. So they're only fine and they're only tiny, but i'm really hoping that that is a good sign of things to come now. What also arrived today was my new hair tape and extensions. Now they're not too far off my natural length, which is perfect um. So i shouldn't have to trim them too much. Obviously, as it goes down the head as i place them further down, it will be longer um, but i currently have them all laid out in front of me. I wasn't going to do this until next week, but in true rebecca fashion. It is 8 p.m, and i want long hair or at least thick hair, but it definitely feels a lot better. Let me see if i have a before here, that i can put next to this. It'S definitely not as frazzled on the end as it was. It looks and feels so much better than before, like i could even contemplate just not doing the extensions because of how good it feels right now um. But i want to do it for these little pokey eye bits to just try and disguise them a little bit more, and i know that this side is thinner, so i'm gon na probably i'll see how it goes. But i might end up just putting a couple more pieces, this side just to level out the thickness um, but i'm just gon na cold dry, my hair a little bit just to make sure there isn't any dampness, because i'm also gon na get very hot. Under these lights um, but i'm gon na lay them all out in front of me. I'Ve got a couple out and i'm gon na lay out all my tape ins. They come. Let me show you they come like this, so essentially i'll get one bit of hair and the other bit of hair they're such a good color match as well. Like i clipped a few in and you couldn't tell they were in there um, you take a bit a tiny, tiny section of hair. You lay this underneath that section and then you stick this one on top and sandwich the hair um. Some people use hot tools to make the tape sort of melt a bit into the hair, but that's not what i'm looking to do. You don't have to do that with tape ins, but it is an option um. So i am going to get started. This is most likely going to take me a couple of hours, so this will be mostly fast forwarding and chatty bits in between um. But yes, i am very excited to show you guys what my hair will look like, and i have wanted tape ins for about 10 years, so i'm really really excited about hair extensions, at least so i'm not quite sure how old the tape in method is um, But yeah, let's get on with the hair extensions. I have an acrylic nail stuck to my arm. That is actually gross wow. Oh yeah. I did a video doing acrylic nails and i forgot to show the end result, but i might edit it in somehow and like put it into a video if i can possibly find something right. Let'S watch, let's watch click, the tars, let's do it, and here we have it the finished product, i'm so so happy with my new hair um. I didn't know how it was gon na turn out. It took me a very long time and i had to trim the ends just a little bit um, but it's currently monday and i filmed the other footage on wednesday, but i wanted to give it its first wash and dry and honestly, like i didn't, find it Too hard to wash um mid week in between, like this wash and when i did them, i just took the top section of my hair and washed that and just to like, let them sink in a little bit longer. I know you can do it after 24 hours, but i wanted to make sure that they lasted the best that they possibly could. So i did that and then today i just made sure that i washed it really well got in between the layers and only put the conditioner on the mids and ends, and it feels really soft um. I even dried it with a hair, dryer and my hair. Doesn'T feel like frazzled or anything um, i have a couple of like flyaways, but that's just my natural hair of where i've got the breakage um. But i think this is like the best thing i could have done for my hair. I am contemplating doing half pink half purple and just leaving the brown bits as they are um because they're not going to grab the color, but i'm just seeing how i go because i'm actually really enjoying this look. I forget to breathe. When i talk, i popped. The link for my instagram in the description box below and i posted a bunch of photos there, but yeah i'm really happy with it, and i will be doing this for a long time. I think because it doesn't cost that much and i still have hair extensions left over. I bought two packs and there were two lots in each and i've got a whole section and a half left um, so yeah. If you enjoyed this guys, give it a big ol thumbs up, if you want to do it yourself, i put the links in the description box below of the hair extensions that i used and of the olapex i'm going to give it a couple of days and Then i'm going to do another olaplex treatment, because my one and two arrived and they're the strongest version of the olaplex um, but yeah i'm really really happy. I'M very warm! I need to open a window - it's boiling in the uk at the moment, so i've bought myself a pool for outside and i've just been sitting in it the whole time um. But yes, i hope you enjoyed this guys if you did give it a big ol thumbs up hit that subscribe button. If you haven't already - and i will see you in the next one - bye
