Okay, you guys, so I wanted to make this video to show you how I purple shampoo extensions, because it can be a little bit tricky. So I am starting off by filling up my sink with warm water and we are plugging that drain so that no water gets out and we are making a nice little bath. We are going to now fill it with the finola, no yellow. You guys all know by now, but this is my favorite favorite purple shampoo and I love the vegan one that they have now, because it is sulfate free and it is safe for extensions. So I am just filling this bath up. How pigmented you want the bath is, how much you put in my client wants these pretty ashy, so I did put quite a bit of purple shampoo in there, but doing it this way in the bath does dilute it a little bit and it makes it go On really evenly so, as you can see here, I have already gotten the extensions wet so now, I'm just going to be dipping them in the water, and you guys will be amazed at how fast this works. Look at this. I dipped it in for maybe three seconds and look. Finola is so so pigmented that it's like immediately like that Ashley perfect tone. It'S easy to overdo it when you do this, so just make sure that you're, really careful and you're watching it closely. If you ever get nervous that it's gon na be too pigmented, you can always mix this half with purple, shampoo and half with regular shampoo, and that will dilute it a little bit. But I like to do it this way, just because I, like my blonds to be pretty Ashley depending on the client after I am done, purple shampooing. I run it under water and this is just going to help get all of the purple shampoo residue out, and it's also just gon na make sure that everything's really, even if I ever do this and I see splotchiness, I fill the sink right back up and I purple shampoo them again. If you guys have not used finola, you definitely need to. You can buy it on Salon, guys calm. They have a vanilla tab on their website. Vanilla has a lot of amazing products, not just purple shampoo, but the purple. Shampoo is something I am crazy about some make sure you check it out. So I just finished off by using conditioner, I used the Kevin Murphy hydrate me rinse and I'm just checking it to make sure everything looks good which it does and then we are going to go over and blow-dry. This is how we like to blow-dry extensions. We'Ve kind of made like a makeshift area for em. I just put them in a drawer in my stations and then I just blow dry them like this. I'Ve been thinking that I need to build like an extension drawing stand at my salon. I don't know me and my mom were talking about it, and hopefully we can make something like that, because we do this all the time and it just gets kind of old. But it really is so efficient and I think that blow-drying extensions efficiently and the right way is really important. Just because when you do propose shampoo. The extensions you're opening up that cuticle, depending on what you use to shampoo them. And you want to make sure that your ceiling that cuticle back down by blow drying it nicely so using a good round brush and a good blow-dryer, and then I always flat iron and put oil in them before I put them in my clients, hair. Just because we want the extensions to look and feel the best way that they can now that they are all purple shampoo. I wanted to show you guys the comparison of how they look when they come out of the package and how they look after we do. This, so you can see on the left is how they come. It'S actually a really pretty color and some clients don't want them toned, but for clients that want it just a little bit a sheer. We like to use this purple shampoo because it does the trick - and this is just the side by side, so I am now putting her wets in as you guys can see, it turned out to be the perfect icy blonde and it matches her hair really. Well. I am doing two rows of beaded wefts on her. I don't know if you guys know, but I am currently traveling the country teaching extension training. So it's the Pam's on its meated West tapings. You get certified through jay-z and I'm so excited about this. I'Ve been traveling since March of last year and this year is all extension, trainings and certifications. So you can check that out on my website and I will leave a link in the description box below my cutie. Mom was assisting me this day, so that is her. Curling my clients hair, so, as you guys can see, the color turned out amazing a lot of times. I just use purple shampoo, two tone extensions. I know that a lot of stylists do you color them with like shades EQ, or they told them that way, and I do that if I need to, but for most blondes I do like purple. Shampoo does the trick, and I don't have to tone if I don't need to so it's kind of nice using the purple shampoo bath is my favorite way to do this. I used to do it just by holding the extensions up and washing them with the shampoo in my hands and with finola. That'S just not the right way to go about it, because it is so pigmented that it would end up looking splotchy or too pigmented in some areas. This is the best way to give you an even result with purple. Shampoo and finola is really pigmented, so just make sure you're careful. But it's honestly such a bonus that it is pigmented because there have been times that I have used other purple shampoos and you leave it on and it looks amazing and then you rinse it out and it goes back, yellow or orange and you're. Like. Oh great. That'S awesome, it didn't do a thing so with vanilla. I never have to worry about that and I just absolutely love that. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I know it wasn't a full-on tutorial, but I thought it was a little tip and trick that I use in the salon everyday with extensions, and I thought that some of you might benefit from and also just a little plug for vanilla, because I love them. So much and I think that every stylist should try it. Let me know if you have used finola and also, let me know if you love doing extensions as much as I do and if you are interested in the classes like I talked about, I will leave that in the description box below and I hope to meet Every single one of you, because it's so fun to travel and just to meet other stylist, it's seriously the best thing ever so. Thank you so much for watching you guys don't forget to Like and subscribe and have a great day and the fighter than Zuko
