Tape In Extensions To Hand Tied Wefts!

This video is all about the transition from tape ins to the hand tied weft method.

Hand Tied Weft System is one of the hottest trends on the market. These wefts are hand-tied, which creates a strong, thin weft when compared to other wefted hair extensions. The hand-tied weft is flat, flexible, and lays close to the scalp giving a more natural look!

During application, the hand-tied weft is sewn to the natural hair on a foundation of silicone beads preserving the integrity of the client’s natural hair. This application provides an additional level of comfort and flexibility due to its thin and lightweight nature.

Today we will be taking my client from tape, ends to hand tied wets. I use the Aqua hand, tied method which consists of three rows and I will be using two full packs. First, I remove her tape ends which were about eight weeks out, so that is normal for this particular client and then I go in and do her regular root touch-up after she's processed and his washed and dried completely. I begin sectioning and adding my beaded row. She will have one mini row, followed by a horseshoe row and then another mini after my beaded row is complete. I start to place my hand, tied weft and secure them with pin pearl clips. I'M using two colors today number zero one black and number one be soft. I do this to create a subtle, balayage effect. For our finishing look once everything is in place. I begin sewing if you are interested in getting certified visit, aqua, hair extensions comm for more information on the certification process. Now, once all my rows are secure, I go into the blending haircut. This is very important as it is what the final look will be. It consists of a lot of slide cutting as well as point cutting focus around the face, since that is primarily what your client will see and here's our finished look thanks for watching this is Chelsea lady from Michael salon in Centerville, Ohio be sure to check me Out on Instagram
