So today i'll be doing a voice over for um, my relaxing of my natural hair. I did a big chop in may 2018, so it's been two years or so a little over two years since i had my big chop and today i'll be relaxing. If you check on screen right now, you'll see my pre-relaxer routine, which consists of these four steps. Also, when applying relaxer to virgin hair, you want to stay around an inch or half an inch or so away from your scalp, because your scalp will process faster than the rest of your hair as seen right here after around 10 minutes or so, then you can Apply relaxer to the rest of your hair and pass through to smooth the hair out. I forgot to use gloves, but i didn't burn my hands, but yeah use a glove. If you can, you can have someone check to make sure it's all covered or you can just have someone help. You apply the relaxer in the first place. Let your hair process for five more minutes or so, and then you rinse, i rinse with cold water. After rinsing thoroughly, i then applied my a firm conditioner and i covered with a cap and let it sit for 20 minutes or so after rinsing my conditioner out, then i added some shampoo. I shampooed my hair three times using the firm shampoo. Then i rinsed and blow dried, my hair on the cool setting, and this is the end result. This is how i wanted my hair to be with some texture, so i could do like a afro style kind of, and i could also have it straightened when i want so this came out perfectly based on what i was looking for. However, what i've realized is that my hair is damaged um. The ends are not even and i find that the sides are longer than the middle. Well, the back middle. I don't know if you understand, but like the sides off the back is just longer and then there's like a short part in the middle you'll, see when i straighten well, you can kind of see right here, but you'll see it more clearly. Once i straighten my hair, so this is what it looks like straightened. Um, the back is more pronounced where you could see that the center is a little bit shorter than the sides, and this is after a small trim, but i will go in and trim some more. So this is what it looks like after my final cut. I gave it a circular cut, so i could keep more length. I wasn't very happy with the length, so i decided to add some tape. Ins for my tape, ins, i'm using latoya, looks um yucky straight here in 22, inches and 20 inches in total. I'M using three bundles or three packs and i'm using the bricklaying method, and this is the end result. I absolutely love how my hair turned out. The key to doing tape. Ins is making sure that your extension matches your actual hair and yeah. I am in love with this, like it's so lightweight and it looks so natural and yeah. I love it. If you have any questions, send me dms or comment in the comment section i'll, be sure to answer. Thank you for watching for the rest of the video i'll, just be showing you my hair from different angles, i'll be showing you how to put it in a bun or a ponytail and how seamless it looks. Um, it's very flowy and it blends so seamlessly. With my natural hair, you
