Hi everyone i'm mardana from boys and girls hairstyles. Today i have kim with me uh. We call her jewel, that's her nickname and she is super duper fun um. She wants a pretty um dramatic, a-line um. I don't know how dramatic i should say, but we are doing an a line um, so we're going to take this back shorter now she does have some curl back through this area, so she wanted it long enough that she could put her little flat iron through To kind of you know straighten that out, obviously um, so you can see i'm just gon na i'm starting to do this on an angle here and then i'll come and do the sides in a minute. So just right above the ear. I just comb that forward. Okay, so just do this side there and then obviously we're gon na come and match this side start to angle here, like i said, i just take all that hair in front of that ear: comb it away and angle that down okay, then most people will need To just have their neck cleaned up: okay, perfect! Now i'll show you okay, go ahead and put your head up here and from right well right at the top of the ear. I just like to push that up, get it out of the way. Then i take a middle section and i'm going to bring this up on an angle, so of course, there's enough here to grab her little flat iron to bring that out. Okay angle, on that also, okay, you can just see i'm taking little sections as i go to the side and then just make sure they cut that on an angle. Also, then i'm pulling this back. The reason i pulled it back is so it will hang longer towards the front same thing there and you can uh see the guideline with the hair. You cut right before it. So if you can't see that hair from the line before go ahead and take less hair in your section and that way, you'll be able to see it, and so you bring this to the back. Take this off and you comb that down okay and then next section, i'm just going to bring her down a tiny bit here same thing. You just follow that guide. Point i'll! Show you on the next one. I didn't on that. One i'll show you the next one that you can see the guide point: okay, another section: okay, if you guys can see that i'll turn it even that way, there's the little section, so you can come down to that and that way that's how you stay on Track to where you're cutting it's kind of funny, we had we had cut it shorter, like this, the first you know couple times and it's funny how, when you just trim it each time you come in how it can grow out of its style. So this time we're like you know what we need to like cut it back into the style. So that's what we're doing today we're cutting it shorter back into its style, because it's just kind of grown out - and i think sometimes you know if people like in between they just trim trim and then they you know, don't like their hair as much anymore. It could be that you've just been trimming it every you know six weeks, and that literally, is the best thing to do to let your hair grow, so it could be grown out of your. You know first style your original style that you had so just know that if, if you're not liking your hair, it might be just grown out of the style. So you can keep that in mind. Okay, now for this top, i'm just coming out on this angle too, you can see see where that guide point is so i'm just kind of coming up this way, taking a little bit of these ends off and coming 90 degrees around the head, okay and then I do another little section here: point cutting be nice to just get all those little ends off. She never has dead hair, but it always feels good to have a trim. You know what i mean and especially a cut like this, so okay bringing this back. Okay, now we'll come to this side same thing just follow. That guide point come up on the head. Oh so i always have a few combs out because i'm always dropping them. Okay, i'm gon na bring this back this way. Okay, awesome! All right! Now, what i'm going to do is take this hair back. I'M going to take a little section. Bring this back! I'M just going to take some of these little ends off now. Make sure you know when you pull this back. This is the length you always want to keep that length on there because she wants that length in the front, but this is how you can blend those layers so again make sure you're, not cutting any of that length, see that length is falling out, which is Great and then i'm just going to take a little bit of these ends just blend. Okay, now same same back here, you want that front part there to fall out so you're not taking the length and then that way, so you can see those layers from that top. That'S how you blend all that in you pull it back and take it back. This way just make sure those front pieces fall out the length okay. Now now for your front, you want this as thick as it can right for me. Yes, yes, so what about looking too bulky in this section right, yes, which we took a pretty big okay, so we'll check that after we dry it, okay, um, but as far as your bang, how much are you wanting on um? I know you trimmed them! Last time - and i think they probably need it again - okay, just so that just i can kind of do the swoop a little bit. Okay, so obviously go on an angle. Do a little point cutting into that, which is little movements just little movements. That way, you don't take chunks out. Okay. Now what about texture? You want some texture in there uh. When you say texture tell me what you would be using um the texturizing shears, so it makes uh shorter. Only underneath i don't know like on the top. You don't do it on top, no, no, so to give it fullness, underneath yes, perfect, okay, so and the way you do that is hold this up. You guys bend where it's bending, that's where it needs the texture. Okay, so you can do it there. You don't want to do it where a part is obviously because you don't want that texture on the top, so bend just do a little bit there and then obviously back here, just a little bit through the crown area and then on the side again stay away From that part just a little bit there, and then she has a lot of hair back here. So i'm going to just come through here and just thin. It out a tiny bit here. Just don't feel too foggy back there, and then i love once i dry it, especially when i go to flat iron. If there's pieces you see that need to be cut, it's awesome. You can totally see it when you dry it so um. Okay. Now the last thing i'm going to do is even out the sides as far as the length okay now starting to bring her up just one second, okay, so she knows what to do. She tilts her head, but when they tilt make sure their chin is up or sorry not up, just like normal you're awesome, i i meant not totally down you had a perfect okay, okay, so you're going to blend this back into that front. So she wants this long. If you have to you can cut a little, you know, but okay yeah, i'm cutting some on the side here, it's just too long to get that shape right. So but as far as your front length we're pretty good to stay, i mean we can take a little okay, but it's pretty good to just. It was just mainly here, and i think that's what was bugging you anyway, is all that's really bulky and yeah doesn't want to lay flat, so you guys can see how it just goes into that point. Okay and then, like i said when we dry it we'll check that out too okay, so this side, i'm gon na hold this down. Okay, okay, now i'm gon na look at you in the front make sure the front is even which it seems it is. So what we're going to do is dry and then uh. If we need to cut some while we're drying, we will i'm drying her base down kind of the opposite way, just a little bit um and the reason is, is because with her bangs, if you come this way and you dry the opposite way and then, if You bring it here, see how it goes more on on her forehead, instead of just straight to the side um, so that's kind of fun just to dry those down and to that way. So when you do this, it will come this way. Okay, now i'm just going to flat iron the sides here. Oh it's looking cute jewels liking. It liking it just flat ironing all of this, and then i'm going to show you guys something in just a second that i just noticed. Okay, i am going to put a tiny bit of rejuva beads, that's just if you i mean she doesn't have split ends, but with a lot of bleach um, it's good to just lock down that cuticle, so i'm just kind of putting it through her ends. Okay, so what i was going to show you guys, you can see right here. That looks a little bit too bulky, so we want to just soften that. We don't want it too bulky and thick. We just want to soften it. So to soften it, i'm just taking these thinning shears and just going through that, where it's bulky, okay and then i'm just gon na you can see see how that softened it okay. So i'm just gon na check her fronts really fast, go ahead and look at me. Thank you going better. Yes, it feels a lot better good. Okay. So i'm i'm going to take this a little bit shorter up on an angle, open and shut your shears softly. Sorry get that off your nose. Okay, now i'm going to backcomb her hair and that's what's fun with this type of a cut is, if you back comb it a little bit like this, it will really show off the alien okay. I always like to spray where i backcomb smells good. Thank you. That'S a yummy smell. I do love it just brush. Thank you! Okay, so you can see that shape that a line start to come in there and then, when i back comb, i push in down and out kind of like a c shape. Okay and then pack this way so so cute, oh my goodness, all right, my dear i'm going to lift you up and you can see and then i'm going to turn her around. In fact, maybe i'll do that before you look okay, i'm just going to turn her around. So you can see um the shape of that okay go ahead and look come in here. Oh yeah, the color's great good! Are you liking that i do? I do do yeah, that's great, maybe it's just a little too flat right. There. Okay need a little bit of um uh-huh. Okay, perfect! That'S! What'S nice, you can just flip this over yeah. Does that feel better there we go okay, go ahead and look at the back, oh yeah, it looks great that bulk is gone, feel better. Yes, it was quite bulky through there, so yay awesome and i can turn you to the other side too, but i'm gon na say goodbye to you guys. Thank you so very much. I appreciate your support and thanks for watching the haircut, it was fun. Have a good day you
