Daniella Lujan: WARNING: I did this with my medium short hair that reached my shoulders and got a messed up lions mane. I think you need long hair for this and you can't cut too much off. I have watched a different video and flipped my hair and managed to trim my hair perfectly once. But following this video with medium short hair led me to a hair salon to salvage my messed up hair. Now it's very very short and still looks unattractive. So just be careful! She looks beautiful and has long hair, consider if your hair is similar before you imitate...

Kathy O: I literally just did this and you can't mess it up. And basically it got off a ton of dead ends without significant loss of length. I think I cut less than 2 inches. I hate layers but this gave my ends enough texture where its not a blunt line. My hair is past my bra strap and the ends aren't a lifeless crunchy mess now.

iiReality: Just gave this a try. It was super easy to execute. But the results...... This method gives u a heavily layered hairstyle. The hair in front is shorter while the hair at the back is longer. So it is only suitable for medium to long hair. Also.... this method gave my hair a deep V shape which i hated. As someone with thick hair, it was not easy cutting my ponytail straight. My hair ended up quite uneven and awkward. CONCLUSION: Try this method only if u want a layered v hairstyle. But honestly, there is no harm trying bcos u may love it
