LP Mama: IMO This should have been a razor cut. It would have accomplished the shape and reduced weight in half the time. It also seems a bit outdated and somehow too old for such a young person. It's bringing attention to her prominent nose, not a feature you would want to emphasize. The hairstylist has basically the same cut and she's older. The hair is very thick and didn't need such hard lines. The client was brave to try such a drastically different look though. Good for her, I hope she likes it. she could wear it as a pompadour!

I to cut my own hair this way if I have to blame it would be me, myself and I. I've had my hair cut short but I'd go to a barbershop. No disrespect to the ladies but I think in my opinion that men take pride when they give a woman a haircut and it doesn't take them this long. I've seen other videos where men go to cut their hair that look like tumbleweeds and they do a great cut and style and cutting or trimming their beards are really awesome job. Man, why do hair stylist not just be honest and tell clients what they know how to do and what they do not know how to do???? It takes months/ years to grow hair back once it has been drastically cut. I don't let anyone touch my hair. I cut my own damn hair and I color my own hair and it's for a reason. It takes years for a stylist to thoroughly understand the concept of cutting hair and it still doesn't guarantee you will be good at it. Cutting hair is an art. I'm not even going to mention coloring, because hell if you get a bad color job, you can correct that, but having a bad haircut, the aftermath is much deeper. Honestly, their are way more non-talented stylists than good ones now. Do they actually watch these videos before they post them? Couldn't. I would go home, take the clippers and cut off that whole bottom part immediately.
