Anna’S Frozen 2 Double Braid-Back Hairstyle Tutorial

( upbeat music, ), Hey everyone, I'm Mindy from Cute Girls Hairstyles.. Today I have Jenn the rambling red head Hello. With me. Jenn. Tell them what you do., I'm Anna. I am a mom. Today, we're gon na show you all the moms out there and everyone that loves Frozen II, how to do the Anna hairstyle, that is new for Frozen II. Yay. So, let's get on to it., Okay, you guys! So here we go. Let'S get started on the first way to create this braid., So I've sectioned off a piece you can see right here on the side of her head. I've taken basically a couple inches above her ear and then to the back of her ear.. I don't wan na. Take all of this from the top cause, if you notice in the movie Anna's hair kind of swoops down into the braids. So that's what we're going! For. Gon na take this divide it into three sections and just create a basic three strand braid right here. Above her ear. And I've even left a few pieces out above her ear or right here in front of her ear just to make it look like I mean Anna's running around in the movie a bunch., It would be very true to Anna's character if there was Hair kind of popping out here and there by her ears. Okay, so we have the braid like this. We're gon na just take this add a little texturizing powder. This is Magic Dust from Hairitage., Tap it in., And then you can pancake the braid. ( upbeat music. ), Let me get it all pinned up., Oh my gosh. It smells amazing. And then I'm just gon na secure this with an elastic.. So now we're gon na repeat that on the other side. So grab her hair, and I have another section already ready to go. We're gon na just create another braid. On this side. I mean this hairstyle is super quick. It'S very easy, it'd be great for Halloween., But I love it. I mean you've seen the movie right Jenn. I have seen the movie. So tell us all the secrets., I'm not allowed.. No, I'm just kidding. Tell us everything., Of course it's good. Yes.. I would definitely say they've matured up as far as like, of course, Olaf is still the humor buster., Very funny. Yeah everything he says is funny., But it's like really needed because it's deep like they really pull at emotions, definitely deeper. Definitely a good spend for adults, not just-, Kids, Kids yeah.. So it's a good co-watching movie at this point. Definitely a good co-watching move. I mean the first one was too. I feel like. Yeah, but like it's different. Like there's a part where Elsa sees images of her mom and you look like you're literally staring at a human, that's trying to hold back tears and she's like ugly faced holding it back and you like start to tear Up to where, as like, maybe it kinda goes over the kids' heads cause. They don't have that much empathy., But for the adults, I'm like. ( groaning ), Now we're gon na take it and of course, Anna's looked like one seamless braid. So that's what we're going for here.! So we and it kind of wrapped right. You can see where her head drops. Down. Anna's braid was kind of wrapped tightly like this., So we're going to take this piece. Whichever side you want to be like the under piece. And we're going to leave it. Kind of position it where we want it. Bring this over here to this side. And then what I'm going to do is go from the front towards the back. Right here and I just loop, this through. And then we're going to take this piece. We're going to leave that sit for a sec. Back over here. And again kind of keep. It positioned like this. And on this side front through and to the back. Okay. Now you can kind of pull and tug to tighten it up like this till you get it positioned where you want it., Then right where the hair crosses and kind of molds into the sides you're going to just take some bobby pins. And then release the elastic.. Now you can take this up higher if you're worried about the hair, slipping or falling out.. Sorry, Jenn., [, Jenn ], It's all good.! It'S just hair. And just pull like this and tighten it up and that's going to create a little hiding spot for the hair right there. And then, if you just comb this in it kind of merges - and you can barely even see where you've pinned it. So We'Re going to repeat on this side. This side, I'm closer, so I might be able to just even move this up with my fingers. Comb and I don't even think I need a bobby pin on this side, but if you're worried about it slipping. Of course, you can just take one. [ Jenn ] Shove, her in. And pop it in. And then go back, and this is the fun part for me. Too. Is you can see where these kind of cross. You can either overlay them like this? So it looks like just one big braid or you can kind of separate it and allow it to pop a little bit like a thicker braid. And if you take a little bobby pin and you go kind of weave it in and out of the hair it'll. Pretty much hide and it will hold that braid together right there in the middle.. Okay, you guys so for the second way to do this. Hairstyle we're going to take the same two braids that we started with. Only this time. What I'm going to do is kind of weave them., So I'm going to go back here and right around where they kind of meet, I'm going to open the braid up and I'm just going to stick the other braid through it and kind of weave it.. So this is what I'm going to do.. So you get the idea. It's just going to weave in and out.. So I'm going to go up a couple stitches and weave it back through., I'm just using my fingers.. You can see just weaving it and then I'm going to bring it back out.. I have like a basket on my head., A basket weave on her head. Sweet., I'm going to go back in., And this is just like if you don't like using bobby pins or you wanted it to really stay put a little more securely or you just wanted To fancify the braid., This is the way you can do it. So out, I'm going to go on this side. I'll turn you a little bit. And this last one. [ Jenn ]. This is a great piece of furniture back here.. Isn'T it pretty [ Jenn ]? I, like it., Go back in and then what I'm going to do is I'm just going to pull this down like that and then, when we're done done I'll release that elastic or I'll bring it up here and I'll hide it better.. So go back to this side.. Do the same thing with this braid., Just weave it through a little bit., ( upbeat, music, ), And there you have number two.. So you can see like it gives it a little bit of a fancier looking braid cause. It'S all interwoven and it still has the same effect as Anna's where it's seamless and there's no like drop to any defined point on her head.. So for our third and final way to achieve the same. Looking braid, we start with the same basic braids on the side., I'm going to take some texturizing powder.. This is the texturizing powder by Hairitage. And you just tap it down the braid. And you can see that it works right into the braid, and that gives a ton of texture in the hair.. So then I can go back and I can pancake it and it really just has grip to it and it doesn't slip out and allow those hairs to stick out all over. ( upbeat music ). So there you can see it's a lot, thicker a lot wider and it's going to lay flatter against her head.. We'Ll do the same thing on this side.. So this is like what it looks like before: pancaking and after.. You can see the difference, there. And then go back and pull on those outside edges. ( upbeat music, ). Okay, so we have our two braids. Now this is the trickier part. We're going to take it where you feel like you want it to sit.. So I'd probably save this stitch right here for me., I'm going to open up a loop and slide this piece through so that we have a nice little cross right, there. And then what you do is basically take bobby pins and secure this against her head. ( Upbeat, music, ) And you want to make sure you're crossing the bobby pins in through the underneath side of her hair. And then once you have it all secure. You can undo the lower pieces of her hair. ( upbeat music ). Once you get the bobby pins in place and you release the elastics, the hair, just kind of falls and sits like this. And this one. Obviously you have a little piece on the braid.. You can see where they merge. So it's not quite as seamless as the other, but this is a great option. If you're struggling with getting it seamless., This one is a great option for you.. Okay, you guys we're going to do the final spin. We're using the first look cause.
