Hey guys welcome to my youtube channel so today, I'm gon na be doing a video, basically how to style, bandanas or head scarves, and this is sort of going off of the inspiration of the Baba's style head scarves, which we can see coming out off of the Runway actually - and it's even been adapted by ASAP Rocky - I don't know if you guys have seen him in his new song, babushka boy, where he's like wearing the traditional Russian head, scarf that you know your stereotypical, Russian grandmother would wear so yeah. It started as a trend, obviously in several European countries, especially Eastern European countries, and then it has been brought on to the runway into high-fashion, and now it's actually somewhat being introduced to street fashion. It'S more of a you know out there sort of looking, but today I'm going to show you guys how you can bring it into your everyday looks and make it sort of a casual get really interesting. Addition to your outfit in this video I'm going to be demonstrating these hairstyles with two different kinds of bandanas. The first is just you know a take on your average bandana with the little print. I don't really know what it's called. It'S your like standard size, bandana and then there's also this head scarf with a really nice print on it. It'S as you can kinda see it's a pretty cheap material, but you shouldn't be able to see that too well on. You know when it's like wrapped around your hair - and I got this one from like some street vendor, so it was like five euros so yeah. This first hairstyle is super easy. I'M just gon na be using the regular-sized bandanna folding it in half and then sort of rolling it like that, and then you just put it on top of your head a little behind your hairline and then tie just a simple knot. If you want, you can do a double knot to have it really nice and secure behind your head under your hair and then sort of just smooth it out even out your hair, to make it look good alright. So this one is basically the same thing as the one. I just showed you, but it's with a head scarf instead of a bandanna, so once again roll it and this time we're gon na have to roll a little bit more since it's a bigger fabric and then tie it behind your head under your hair and then You'Re, just gon na have these really nice little ends coming out since it's a lot of fabric and you can leave it sort of. However, you want, you can do one in front one behind the shoulder or both behind the shoulder. It'S up to you, it'll. Look good either way this next one is way more simple and super low-key. All you do is sort of twist the bandanna after folding in half again until it's basically just like a little wrap of fabric, and then you tie it behind your head and it's just a nice little simple bandanna. That is super subtle and you can wear it with any outfit rolling. The bandanna like this, the same way as we just did for the headband. You can also use it as a ponytail, so you know just wrap it starting from under your hair and then tighten it on top and you know tighten it. However, tight you want adjust, it make the ends, sort of go down instead of sticking out to the sides, and it's a nice replacement for your average ponytail in a very interesting way. Moving on from hairstyles with the head scarves and bandanas, you can also just take the head scarf and use it basically as a scarf, especially in the wintertime. It'S gon na look really good with some layers, maybe even a turtleneck and a coat, and it's basically just like a super lightweight scarf that you can wear whenever even indoors, and you can do the same thing with a bandana. You, basically just you know, do a simple knot around your neck. Obviously don't do it too tight because that's not going to be comfortable and you can do a double knot to make it shorter to make the ends shorter and yeah. That'S about it. Finally, the last style is your stereotypical babka Russian grandma style head wrap. Obviously, this one's kind of a joke, because you got to really be confident to pull this one off, but I have seen it be successful in many street wear - looks that you can see on vogue in the Russia category so yeah. You just tie it under your chin and there you go Russian headscarf. Thank you guys for watching subscribe. If you want to see more videos like this or if you want to see more style videos - and let me know in the comments if you like this video or just like the video that would be great and I'll, see you in the next video bye
