Hips up guys Steven a Salonga here and today's video is going to be focused on curly hair. Now, there's a few things about curly hair for women that want to go over and men obviously have curly hair too, but this haircuts are really focused on women. So if your professional watching this, hopefully will be helpful, but also, if you're, a regular client, this can be helpful too. Now I get a lot of people that travel from all over the country to come, see me to get. You know haircuts for me and one, but you know popular one is my medium length, layered haircut, it's a very simple basic haircut that creates a beautiful shape and I'm going to apply that to this haircut today on this mannequin, that's got curly hair. So as a few things about curly hair that you know you, ladies that are watching know and if you're professional, you need to know this stuff, curly hair is something that you know they find very, very, very connected to their curls and very protective of how their Hair is cut and you can easily botch up someone's hair if it's really really curly, for example, curly hair. When it's wet you know it extends and then obviously, when it dries, it shrinks back up. So the length is going to jump right up. So if you cut it too short, guess what it's going to spring up and it's going to look twice as short, alright, also layers layers are a really really big thing and you, ladies with curly hair, you know those layers got to be right. So if they're not right, the hair isn't going to lay right. It'S going to look more of like a triangle which is interesting. It just needs to be really really shaped. Well, there's a few different techniques. Cutting techniques like diva curl is one. I know that really is an interesting haircut. It'S designed to really enhance the curl, but it's a very different technique and the way the hair is cut is also something that really shapes the hair a little bit differently and non-traditionally, because it's removing large chunks of weight to make the curls really spring out. And it's cutting different types of layers and lengths in the hair, so that might work for you and it might not work for you. I'M going to do today. It'S going to be a very simple basic haircut, shape, which I get lots of comments about from women with curly hair saying I can't get the right haircut baloise. So I'm going to do this hair and hopefully it'll help you, ladies out and professionals as well. So I'm ready to go, let's get started. The first thing we're gon na do is we're going to start with the length and, as I mentioned before, length is pretty important, because if you cut this really short here, guess what it's going to spring up to here when it dries. So you really want to be careful of how much you're going to take off and really have a clear vision of what you want. The end result to look like so we're going to cut this a decent amount where I'd say you know we're going to make a pretty significant difference as far as the shape, so this would be kind of a more of a medium length. Layered, hair haircut for curly hair and the key to not only curly hair, but any haircut is you want to establish the length and the length is basically going to be the key foundation of this whole haircut. So, as you can see through here, you've got the length establish and look how much do what it does. It springs up like this, so you really really want to be cautious when you're cutting knowing that hey. If I cut this much off, it's going to spring up and the client could freak okay, you know, but you really want to have a clear vision in mind so for the end result. So what we're going to do is going to cut this whole entire back. One length and when we're done with the back we'll then move into the sides in the front the back is done and it's all one length. What remains now is we're going to connect the sides and the front and there's going to be a pretty simple basic procedure. What you have to keep in mind now is what we're getting to this area the face frame, because the face frame is really going to be the deciding factor of how the layers are really going to form its shape. Remember whatever is seen in front, you know. That'S that's what you're seeing I mean. That'S the first thing that someone sees when they're looking at you is. You know the front of your hair, so you want to make sure that you know it's got the proper shape. That'S going to complement the face. It'S going to complement the entire look overall, you know so leaving longer layers like this means. It'S going to be a much kind of softer curl into the front here, not really a lot, a lot of volume, just kind of a nice soft natural curl and what you need to do is angle. Your fingers up just slightly to create a lower face frame and we're not really going to go high on this. Just for this example, because I just want to show you what it will do, so you see how that's sprung up a little bit. Well, fine! That'S great, if you want this type of look, if you want like just a slight slight face framing through here, then that's how you do it just a really low angle coming in through here, but since I want to go a little more, you know extreme on This and make a bit more of a difference. What we're going to do is we're going to angle our fingers up a little bit higher, which is going to open up the shape coming right in through here, and what that's going to do is, as you can see here. Hopefully this is a better angle. Right into here is where we're going to cut so we're going to angle our fingers upwards more, to give it a bit more of an extreme kind of not super extreme, but much a much higher angle, because I really want to open up this face frame here And create some nice shape right into the front, and what I'm doing is I'm standing right in front I'm pulling the hair forward like this and I'm cutting and what I'm doing really is making a really good, solid line right in through here. Let'S turn this. This way now, because you want to make sure this whole part right in through here, it is really really solid and full. Alright, you don't want to make this too thin as far as the layers go. So, as you can see, here's the layer it's springing up already, but it's giving a really really nice shape right through here. So what we're going to do on the other side is we're going to cut the side same exact way that we did on the other side and we're going to connect the angle the same way working towards the face. Okay, now we're in the front and it's time to start cutting upwards, because that is how we're going to create our face frame on this side. So we're going to angle our fingers pointing down this way to the floor and we're going to cut upward. So our left elbow is up this way right here, it's up like this and then what we need to do is stand kind of in front of the mannequin just to make sure that we're like evenly balanced. So, let's pull this all straight down and we're going to cut so the best thing to do is to stand right here, pull the hair towards you just to make sure it's even which it is. They usually call me uneven Steven, but this time this time I did all right. I was even hit and we're going to just snip off any hairs that we see that need to come off all right. So now we brush us all back and, as you can see the head shape and then the curls are starting to really come together nicely just by us, creating that good layer. Now what happens is a lot of times. This is the biggest problem. Is it's flat and it's full through here? I know, ladies with curly hair. It'S your biggest thing is when it's like this, the big poof ball here and it looks like a like a triangle and it's so flat up here. So now we need to start layering. The hair so now we're going to go into the layering, which is really really important for this haircut, and what I did is I took a horizontal section right here, and this is really going to determine the entire haircut. This is going to be your guide. All right, this is a key point right here to where everything is going to live from, so this has to be cut properly in order for it to lay really really nicely and to get that shape. So now keep in mind that you've got you know, here's the length and you've got all this into here to work with. Okay, you have all this here to work with, so the length here really is important. So remember the hair will spring up. You know want to go too too short, but you want to be enough. That'S going to make a difference so we're going to keep our elbows our elbow parallel and we're going to cut straight across, and this is going to be our first section right in through here. You can bring it up one more time, just to make sure it's all even - and this is our first section right here right and now we're going to work towards the back now. This section right here sprung up quite a bit, which is okay, because we're looking to remove weight and we're looking to add a little more bounce to the whole thing. If you don't want to have a lot of layers and a lot of bounce - and you don't want the curl to really really spring up a lot, then you will leave that piece longer. But just remember the more length you leave on the top, the less it's going to you know have that that balance shape so now we're going to take another section and we're going to cut straight across horizontally and then we're done with that section. We'Re going to the same thing on this side, take a slice, horizontal slice right in through here and we're going to comb it straight up and, as you can see, this is what curly hair does is, creates knots, okay, comb it straight up. There is the guide from underneath from before and we're going to cut straight across now with curly hair. Sometimes you need to go over it just to make sure that you got everything because sometimes curly hair will you know you might miss a section or you might miss a piece. That'S fine go back over it. So we're going to comb this down and now look. What'S happening ready, this hair is got starting to spring up and bounce up, which is fine so now that we've done that, we're now going to work more on a vertical plane to connect the layers in through the back and how we're going to do. That is we're now going to comb everything straight out from the head this way and we're going to cut upwards to connect that way and what we're doing simply is we're rounding the shape out and we're really just cutting a nice shape that the layers and the Curls will really look their best and there's the length that's dropping out into the bottom. So you don't really want to cut that, and one last piece just to make sure, but all you're really doing is connecting this just to make sure that everything is blended together, because with curly hair, everything has to really work together and it there's one hair. That'S out of place or not right, it's going to show, so this is looking good now. What I'm going to do is I'm going to continue this pulling everything straight out from the head in the back and then we're ready to move into the top? I just want to show you guys, the back and what we've done and the beautiful layers that we've created, as you can see in through here, there's really no harsh lines. It'S got a beautiful shape to it, and we've got the length and all this now is beautifully cut and layered, so that when you do style it it's all going to have this gorgeous nice well rounded shape, which is very, you know, kind of basic and simple, But very effective if you're, looking for just a clean, really really good haircut. So now, let's work in through the top area. I'Ve said this in many of my previous haircutting videos that this piece is very important, but this has to connect into this part. So I always and look see, we've got here's what we need to cut. There'S the piece right there and how do we do that? Don'T take a section right off the bat and cut it straight up like this. Don'T do that yet what you need to do is need to connect the back in through the top, and the best way that I have found - and I use in a lot of my haircutting techniques - is to simply follow the head, shape and connect it going vertically. This way, first, before you take a horizontal section because and I've seen this many many times, people hairstyles will just take a section and they'll cut it and they're creating a whole new guideline, and it's just going to not going to really have a nice flow to It so by cutting it this way, you don't want to go too deep into the corners either, but by cutting it, this way, you're really really doing the best connection and the best flow for right and through here, because this this could be a really really good Area for styling, where you're getting fullness. If it's not cut right, it's just not going to lay right either and trust. Me you, ladies with curly hair. You know if you got a bad haircut, trust me. I'Ve heard it many many times. You'Ll know if you have had a bad haircut, so we're done with this part. Now we've connected this alright, now we're ready to move in through the top. So I'm just going to lower this a little bit and now is where we can move forward, because we don't have to worry about this. This back anymore, because we've cut that so now. We'Re going to do is we're going to take a horizontal section straight across here, and I apologize if there's any knots or I seem like I'm getting aggressive it's because the hair curly hair will not up so now. We are ready to cut all that see all that length right into here, which is the weight that we need to remove. It'S just comb this one more time, because curly hair has a tendency to want to jump all over the place. So now we've got a clean section, take a little bit from that as our guide and we're going to work towards the front. Now, because of our face frame before there's not a lot of hair, it's going to be coming off and which is a good thing, because it's all going to connect into each other. As you can see here, we'll do probably one more yep one more section right here in the front and then we'll be ready to move into the sides. But right here just should be a little bit of hair coming off. And yes, just a little bit right in the very very front: that's it and there we have it. Okay, let's do one more comb to make sure we're good and now what we're going to do is this whole top panel is done, but now we have to work in so we still have a lot of work to do. We have to work in through the corners and the sides, and this is where things get a little bit tricky and you have to really really pay close attention to what you're doing so since we're on a roll here. Let'S comb the hair straight out from the head this way, I'm standing right behind and we're just going to cut that little bit of hair right there. Now we're going to drop down into the sides, keep in mind, you don't want to cut the bottom. The bottom is the length you never want to cut the length all you're looking to do with this and for this curly hair. Is it just connect the shape and make it all flow and work together? Alright, you don't want to do anything crazy. Anything super fancy. Just keep we're keeping this very, very simple for this particular haircut next section we're going to do the same thing, comb it straight out from the head and not much, is really coming off, just that little little bit right there and that's totally fine. It'S not always about you know how much you're cutting off it's really. You know what you're leaving on the head and what that hair is doing for the haircut. That'S really really important. Sometimes you don't need to cut a lot of hair. You know I've done haircuts where I just take hardly anything off and it ends up being an amazing haircut, because it's just I need to just take off just a little bit. So I'm just going to finish this up right here now: here's where we have a little more hair right in through here, that's where we have a little more hair right into the very very front, and we have to make sure it's all kind of connected in So if you see it - and it looks like it doesn't blend then cut it. Here'S the very front hairline, which is important to calling a straight out from the head, making sure that we're seeing everything how it's, how it's growing out from the head, the scalp and then the last piece right here throughout the bottom, just a little little bit right. There now we're done with this side, we're completely done with this side and we're going to duplicate the same thing on the other side and then before we talk about styling, there's one last little trick that I'll show you guys, here's we're going to show you guys A little trick that I like to do, which really just enhances the haircut and makes sure that you make sure that everything is really connected together, so you're going to comb the hair straight out from the head now, a lot of people think the hair grows straight Up this way, and when, in fact it really doesn't, the hair doesn't grow straight up. It usually grows more forward like this. Alright like this. So what we're going to do is we're going to comb the hair out this way and look at all that hair. We'Re going to cut that because that is excess weight that really makes the hair heavy in the very very front. So, let's round this out this way and we're going to do that throughout the entire top here, just to make sure that we're all, even here, all right, there's just a little bit there just pull this down this way, extend it a little bit and we're going To cut just that little bit off right there, which is going to make a big big difference and the way the whole thing lays that's good, we're good here and basically we're not looking to cut off a lot of hair, but here's the problem. If you do this, and you see like a huge amount, long hair, like big big chunks of hair, that are a lot longer, that means you need to go back and revisit how you cut it. But if you follow these steps, you should be good and, ladies, if you're the client and you're getting your hair cut, maybe just have them do this, just that it puts the extra you know, effort into the cut to really for your benefit, so that this front Isn'T super super heavy so now, let's take a look at the shape, so the hair is kind of not fully dry, but it's it's drying definitely and I like to cut wet into dry just to kind of see how the shape is forming and what I'll do Now is just lightly go back in and REE wet it a little bit just dampen it and to just kind of prepare it for styling, which is the whole thing. So, ladies with curly hair, you know about styling. You know how your hair works best and everyone has their own technique. Trust me. I'Ve worked on so many women with curly hair. I'Ve had girlfriends with curly hair every they all have their own way of doing their hair, and sometimes you just got to let them do it or let it air-dry, which I'm a big fan of letting the hair air dry. But I want to just take a look and show you guys how how the shape is formed now compared to before when we first started so now, look at all that volume. Alright, look at the from the side here. Look what we did. We created a beautiful shape now, if you scrunch it look at all that height that we have in from here and honestly, I didn't go in and take out chunks. I didn't you know, do any sort of razor ring or any sort of you know. Curly hair cut technique. Honestly this was a simple kind of basic layered shape following my knowledge of cutting hair and look at the beautiful result, and this is going to work out great, it's going to go out great and hopefully it'll be easy to do so. Let'S talk about the styling there's a few different things you can do with styling, I'm going to prep it with my sea salt spray, tidal wave, which is a great sea salt spray. It'S a very light sea salt spray compared to a lot of other ones. On the market that are really really grimy and heavy and like to see salty like I want to make sure this wasn't one of those, so this is an amazing pre, styling spray, and for those of you that use it every I know women that say this Was their favorite product like as far as just letting it dry air dry with something in it has a very kind of light hold, but it really really um does a great job with letting it naturally air dry. So now I'm going to put something in it's going to be more for the finish and the hold. So this is a product that I'm testing that it's taken about six seven months to get to me and now it's here and it's a gel mousse. So basically, you do one pump like that and it comes out looking like a gel and then you work it into your hands and it actually creates a light kind of mousse consistency like a really light, creamy foam. It smells phenomenal. It'S got Kiwi um, like it smells like almost gosh almond Kiwi and it's a product that I hope to be coming out with. After all, you know once I'm finished testing it and everything I think it's going to be great, so it gives really really nice natural, hold great shape, great conditioning and for curly hair. I like to really just work the product in as best I can and and kind of scrunch it and really let it naturally form alright. I will take it in fuser to it. Sometimes but honestly I just like to scrunch the hair get all the product in there and let it air dry naturally so that it has a great shape to it and, as you can see here, I think you'll agree. We did a great job with the haircut and it looks pretty good. Alright, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and, if you're a clients, I hope this haircut really helped you guys out. Maybe you can, you know, watch it and you'll know next time into getting your hair cut, whether it's going to be a good one or a bad one and professionals, fellow professors. I hope this really helped you guys out. So thank you guys so much for watching. Don'T forget to Like comment and subscribe and I'll see you next time for more videos with this long guy,

Hairstyles - Hairstylist: Great cut! I have very dry curly hair

stefthepest: Every hairdresser I've had cut my hair has told me to grow my hair longer. They don't understand the longer my hair becomes the thicker more unmanageable it becomes. Now I just have a medium, long layered bob and put up with it. I really think all hairdressers should have specialist training in dealing with curly hair as in the past I even had to blow dry my own hair in the salon!

Know The Way: Thank you so much for this video! Every time I go to the stylist they straighten my hair and give me a straight hair cut. I can only straighten my hair mid winter when it is dry. I just gave myself this cut! (My daughter helped with the first cuts in back) This is the best cut I have had in years it really accents my curls and took the shelf (weight off of where it was looking dumb in back). Very excited about it!

A B: I learned a lot from your videos, thank you! I always cut my own hair, and I've never been 100% satisfied with how the sides look, like, the area by my ears. My hair is very curly, and your advice about the "corners" and not removing too much weight, and sort of pulling the hair towards the back was really helpful, I'm gonna try that. Thanks again!

Jo Higle: Great job, I have curly hair and I really appreciated your comment about letting the client use their own unique technique on styling it - it's no disrespect to the hairstylist it's just that is curly girls know how our hair behaves - but it has to start with a great hair cut!

Bridget Galazkiewicz: You are exactly right. I have curly hair and I change stylists often because they just dont get it and I always end up explaining the triangle !

MegaKOREANDRAMALOVER: I wanna thank you for this video coz it helps a lot to me as a new beginners, I recently cut a medium length curly hair and it went really good. I listened and follow every single steps that you said in this video. I'm so proud to myself that I did it though I know I still need to continue my class to learn more and continue watching different types of your hair cutting video here. Cheers!

cayley lynn pheasant: I did this cut on my daughter's super thick curly hair and it turned out great! Thank you.

Stacy Young: Amazing job! Im a curly hair specialist. You cut just like I do. Finally someone who understands curls.

Megan Hernandez: Used this technique but applied it to a slightly different cut. More of a angled bob. Came out awesome! Thanks so much, my mom has super super curly hair and it turned out perfect for her!

erica mcneil: Great video! I have thick curly hair and I've always gotten a deva cut but the curls are getting tighter! I have no idea how to manage it, its slightly shorter on one side due to the change of curl pattern, plus the volume it is creating! Any suggestions for my just below shoulder length hair?

Amber C: This video made me realize I’ve never had a good haircut I just didn’t think it was possible for my hair to look good

jill lehr: Nicely done! Thanks for this curly hair tutorial!

overbored selfassured: Thank you Steven for sharing this information! Can we apply this technique on waist length hair? Or would a different technique be needed then?

Tamilta rocks candle box!!!!: Hello Steve, great hair cut again I try to do each and every haircut the way you do them and they usually came out.Thank you again for your videos.I really appreciate you.Plus I'm in Washington state.I would really love to work for you and be on your team. Please consider me as one of your employees someday.ive been doing hair for 40 years and always eager to learn more. To hank you for all you do

Olivia Alkema: I love your videos!!! I also have long curly hair like Sylveee3 I would love a video for long curly hair. The problem I have most often is that my hair is curlier in the front than the back. If the front gets layered my curls all bounce up to about the same length at the layer leaving a "shelf"-like disconnect between the layers and the full length right in the front face frame area. Not cute! Any suggestions on how to eliminate that would be amazing!!!!

Danielle W: I would love to know exactly how to phrase this cut! I have had such a problem the last 4 or 5 yrs especially to find a good stylist who actually listens!!!! Got a great cut done at a beauty school, the instructor taught the gal the cut to do and it was the most fab. The instructor moved to Texas, and no notes on it in their system of the cut. Currently, I have a botched cut from 8 wks ago, with me trying to grow out past 4-5 yrs, stylist typically cut off what I just spent months growing because they do not know what they are doing! This same scenario has happened to me many times in recent yrs. I'm at a loss. Salon I am currently using, the last stylist gave me a bit of a lecture saying I should not be telling the stylist how to cut my hair or what 'terms' to use as they should know my hair as that is their job! True the latter but wow, what a way to alienate a client! What shall I call this cut to have done?

Liliannea: thanks to this I haven't messed up my hair during the quarantine <3

Tess M: Thank you for the video. I am a hairstylist, and I have only one curly girl client. I do a lot of what you do, but I am looking (always) to do a better cut. I wish you had a camera above you to show more clearly the sections you are taking for the layering. Could you, by chance, attach a link to a head sheet?? Thank you!

Arlyne Scott: I love this guy!! Very professional and very helpful

passionfruitfruit: great job, a wonderful tutorial!

JIA LINN: Thank you for this...I was trying to get rid of the triangle shape!

Peg Chen: I love your videos. How do I go about purchasing your products/ Also the gel mousse seems like something I would love to try, because I have been doing that for awhile on my client's hair.

fluffyspunsugar: I love your curly hair tutorials and hope someday I can find a stylist willing to watch your video and follow it. However I have extremely thick, bristly, coarse hair that grows straight out on the sides, where it it super duper extra thick. I can't get close enough to my scalp with a straightening iron to minimize what looks like waves left over from taken out braids, which adds to the bulk (makes bumps in the top layer). Can you please do a tutorial where you cut broom straw-like uber thick hair and show how to get the bulk out without the bottom layer pushing up the top layer? I now have clown hair because, though layered, it won't lay down right because it's extremely thick underneath. Seriously, think Bozo hair. Thank you so much!

ST MARK: I'm a DevaCurl stylist and I APPROVE this haircut.

Syleee3: Great info! So I have long, naturally curly hair and I just CANNOT get a good cut from my guy. He does great color but I've not been happy with the cuts. I have the long weighed down curly problem. I need volume. Can you do a long layered cut on curly hair please-I'm talking like 20in long hair when it's wet lol. I'm afraid I might end up with that 90's mushroom look Thanks!

Breevah Eva: I didn't scroll all the way down, but I noticed most of these curly clients and stylist are divacurl, but at my salon, we are Ouidad certified. The most common complaint we get from our curly clients that have tried both is that their divacurl cut was done on dry hair, and it ended up looking less flattering in comparison. Ouidad carve and slice is done on wet hair and focuses more on an individuals unique curl pattern.

Diana Pinto: Omg! Where have you been all my life? I need your hands on my hair! Great video! Thanks!

M B: You are fenomenal..!!!. I totally adore how you teach.!! May God continue to bless you. I wish that some day I am able to meet you and thank you personally. Hopefully God allows me to do so. Stay safe, and God bless..!

Space Time: What do I say to my stylist to get this haircut?

Sam N: You are the best! I found a lady in 1999 that gave me the best haircut of my life and it took 45 min. After I left LA my mom and I have flown to see her every three months. I tried in seattle area to find someone. I have been to about 30 stylists and they spend 2 hours on color and 15 min on haircut. No movement. So quarantine happened. OUR LA lady sent us kits for color, but of course haircut wasn't happening. I watched this video 10 times and followed along when I cut my mom's curly red hair. She is very particular and she said this was one of the best cuts she has had. She has had people stop her in the store to tell her how beautiful her hair is and it makes me so happy. She is beautiful and 75 and her hair is fabulous thanks to this great tutorial!

extrememakeoverneeds: 9:19 you witness the curly girl elevation technique of avoiding the hair dressers comb pull. Easy on the knots.

Karen Younger: Do you find that cutting on the angle makes a difference with curly hair?

Julie C: amazing! I wish i could find someone like you!!!

Terry Jaeger: How would you adjust this cut to include angled bangs?

Rosario Colon: I wish I knew what to called this haircut so I could ask for it...although I can see this haircut changing for every individual

April Cordova: Beautiful haircut and helpful info. Thanks

G D: Would this cut be good for thin curly hair?

Plushie 101: do you think you could do Newt Scamander's hair from Fantastic Beasts? I'm gonna be basing my hair off if it. :3

H P: Great shape, but I’m wincing every time you rip the dry, tangled ends of the curls with the comb.

fluffyspunsugar: Can you please recommend someone in Maine who can cut hair like this? I'm willing to travel. I wish I could cut my own hair but I can't reach the back :( Also, do you have a video for thicker, coarser hair by chance? I have enough hair on my head for 3 other people, that's how thick. My hair has a mixture of wiry, straight, curly and stiff hair. It's the best way I can explain it, but it is really, really thick. It will straighten out nicely, but will frizz in the slightest of humidity.

Tracy Raia-dowd: It seems like to find a stylist who really knows how to cut curly hair would cost a fortune. I've been to a couple in my life and they screwed it up. I have to cut my own hair. I fear hair stylists, and it is really too expensive. I don't have 100 bucks for a hair cut just because someone specializes in curly hair. I can't even afford products that cost $20.00 or more. To pay that, is insanity. People with straight hair get all the affordable products like $3 or 4 dollars. I don't even know how I would find someone who really knows and understands curly hair. I see all these women that look so put together and I wish I could look polished like that but it's just not affordable so I just wear my hair in a messy type bun everyday.

Charel SeyeR: Great video I wish you're in Switzerland. I don't know anyone who can cut my curly hair right. Lol! It always end up like a disaster.

b r a n d e e: Do you find it's better to cut curly hair wet or dry?? I have so many clients tell me 'You can't cut my hair dry, it can only be cut wet.' Then I try to explain to them how curly hair shrinks up when it's dry if it's cut wet, and it's like I've told them a lie or something bc shit hits the fan after that. My mom had curly hair, I know how to cut curly hair decently. Okay I'm done talking so much haha. I love your videos! We watch them in our salon for help sometimes.

Sandra Lue: Great haircut. Terrible styling. I hate how stylists get lazy when styling curly hair, yet they'll spend 20+ mins. to style straight hair. You have combed out and disturbed the curl pattern yet believe that with a little spray bottle and a few light products you have miraculously brought the curl back to life. The only way to bring the curl back is to take your client back to the sink and condition it. Work with the hair as if it's been freshly washed. Seeing you style this hair made me cringe because it's what EVERY hair stylist does to my hair. Take that opportunity to offer a deep conditioning treatment because curly hair needs lots of moisture. I usually have to go home, jump in the shower, condition it and style it myself which is annoying since i'm paying an expert for a service that's not being delivered. Also, curly hair is dry by nature, yet you use drying sea salt to style it? Please consider doing further research and improve your technique.

Naomi Lugo: Can you recommend someone, out here in Los Angeles that can cut my hair like that

GreenHawk17: Is there a male version of this? Mine is curly just like the mannequin. I just don't know what to do... or ask.

Cobo: YOU NEEEEEED TO DO THE MATTHEW NOSZKA HAIRSTYLE UNDERCUT, it's amazing and a little wavy. I would really loveee it i usually show your bieber videos to my hairstylist, i would like some tips to make that gatsby wave that he have, my hair is pretty straight so i often blow dry it

Sunshine: Why do you always upload so late? Lol

dom: Hey CNET u do FaZe Jevs Hair style. please

Corey: That was an insane amount of words to simply say "cut a 90° haircut" and not add anything else to learn. No wonder you cut so little off. There are no additional tricks or relations to curly hair in the entire video expect that the mannequin is curly. I was a fan of yours but the longer I've watched you, the more I've noticed how much less actual information you even put in these videos.

Jogging Cucumbers: CAN YOU DO ANAKIN SKYWALKER FROM STAR WARS EPISODE 3 REVENGE OF THE SITH
