Sam, what were you gon na do uh? Can i get something like that, so, like a zero, zero kind of, and not quite a fade, it's kind of a bit rough? Isn'T it yeah yeah quite high yeah, so you want to go like a we. We would call that a high and tight yeah high and tight he's got just one guard there, but what i'd be tempted to do is taper this area here make that short and make that shorter, just like his skin yeah skin and make it into maybe a Half and then, if you want yeah what was the shortest guard that you were looking at really on the side, how short? What'S the shortest time, i'd be happy with the skin? Okay? So here we go zero skins, okay, yeah! So if we zero we, if we, if we do a skin, fade on that or we skin that yeah and then this is here not blended at all. Okay, so this peaky blinder haircut, yeah yeah, is really left with a heavy line through here. We don't have to leave it as heavy. As that picture, we can soften it slightly yeah, maybe soften slightly, so we can soften it slightly, but still leave quite a weight line through there can we see what it looks like with the heavy and then go for soft yeah? No, we can do that because we can. I can make that line quite dominant yeah and then once uh we've got that lining. We can always take the line out: yeah, yeah, yeah that'd be cool and then really this top bit. You want to be leaving most yeah, so i was going to say like kind of leave it, maybe a bit of weight. Yeah kind of these bits always come out really sideways, yes, yeah if it could come in a bit yeah. So these bits here you get like wingy bits here, end up like a mushroom yeah. Okay. So if i cut that off through here, yeah we'll blend that in and then this i'm just gon na texturize, it you're perfect all right. So just it just feels a little bit lighter, perfect yeah, so, okay, yeah, perfect, okay, my man! So i'm going to go up past the temple, because it's a little bit higher okay, yeah yeah, that's good! I like and so you're doing your masters in photography yeah. I am yeah commercial photography, yeah, oh commercial, yeah, yeah, well, yeah commercial, photography, so kind of more, hopefully, they're gon na teach us more about the business side, which is good. I did my degree in commercial photography as well, but yeah. I think this is kind of just the next step and yeah. Hopefully it's a bit more in-depth yeah and just to kind of specialize a bit more cheers. So what do you do over there? Uh? No, i'm i'm at the moment. I'M just kind of packing and kind of learning and then when i get a bit more experience, i can work up to maybe roasting or helping customers with deliveries and machines and things like that. But at the moment it's just kind of bagging and learning yeah. I'M getting i'm getting used to the smell of the roast roasting of the coffee beans. Now yeah it smells. Everyone says it smells everyone that comes into the barber shop. All says the same thing, they all say: oh, it smells like toast and it's yeah and it doesn't smell like coffee. No, it doesn't which is weird. Isn'T it like? You think that roasting coffee beans would be a really coffee smell, but it's not at all. It'S a toasty, yeah kind of roasty smell, which is it's nice yeah. It'S a really nice smell, but what's even nice is when you're packing you're, just opening all the buckets, and then you just get like whips with some coffee, which is super nice, okay, sam. So i'm just gon na i'm just gon na knock all this weight out through this back area. That'S your crown, and you said that's your problem area yeah! That'S the bit that kind of grows out yeah. It goes outwards and yeah very quickly. It starts to look weird yeah, well a lot. What that happens for a lot of people that the crown area is generally like a problem area for most people yeah. You know when you talk to people about these back areas generally, the rule of thumb is either cut. It really really short. So it's not it's not there. So it's not a problem or you leave it longer, so it lays flatter yeah. I know, but on your hair it doesn't lay flat, does it? No, it sticks out, comes out, yeah perfectly sideways and as also the more you go in on the fade, the weirder it looks on the top because it's like a more different, it makes sense. Yeah yeah, that's what i mean i'm seeing that straight away by taking by knocking out this little bit of weight through here, yeah i'm seeing that that shape just goes outwards, so we're going to have to just get rid of that weight through there we'll scissor over Clipper that we'll clip of that we'll probably scissor over comb it and then go through with the clippers as well yeah. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to push this center bit into the center and we're going to push these side bits down. So just i can just define where i'm cutting. Otherwise what happens? Is you end up drawing all this top section into the rest of the hair cut and i don't we know we're trying to retain as much of the length so we're just gon na separate that out all right sam so once i've knocked it out with it? Clipper overcome i can come back in and lay the clipper flat to the head and just go up nice and square that takes that that bulk out that weight out yeah this that it just gives me room to see what i'm doing yeah. So if i, if i just went straight up with the clipper, i'm not really easy to go up and then go in yeah, which you don't want. No, so what i'm doing here is i'm going straight flat to the head with the comb. Yeah gives me a nice straight edge, and then i can come in with the with the clipper and then just finish it off. Sam put your glasses on. I want you to give me a little bit of feedback about what we're talking about here with the uh yeah. I like that kind of yeah i like how heavy it is now yeah yeah. I wouldn't want to go any softer. Okay, that's fine! That'S great! I'M! Just gon na just soften this bottom area, like we discussed just because as it grows out, it just looks a little bit a bit nicer, a little bit nicer as it grows out just gives you. You know another five or six days, maybe on the haircut. I know it doesn't sound very much, but what if it's known with lockdown with lockdown, it does make a difference as long as possible. Yeah. I don't like this. My hair's. I always find it so like flat so kind of straight yep, and it just it's. That'S why i shaved my head last year: it's like a had it on a one all over yeah, i'm just sick of it, just being so flat, yeah and yeah. This actually will help, like you know like what we're doing like right now is having having this area here. Support this bit will help you stand up anyway. You'Ll get natural volume from it anyway and then, if you just use something like you know, sea salt spray yeah, just to give it a little bit of something i tend to use powder, but i always worry. It dries my hair out too much yeah and also it lays on your scalp, and what happens is with these powders. Is that they're great? They do a really good yeah. They do a really good job, but you must wash them out like you need to make sure you wash your hair more frequently if you're using them yeah, because the the powder lays on the scalp and what it does is it blocks the pores. And then you end up getting spots on your head, so the seashore spray is probably better so sea salt spray sticks to the hair, not the scalp, okay, so trying not to soften this line too much, because sam really likes this line. But i'm going in with a pair of texturizing scissors and just giving it a little bit of a softer edge just through the blend through the main hair cut and the side. So you can see that as we push that forward, it just blends a little bit. Tighter okay, so we're not going to cut any length off yeah, but what i'm going to do is i'm going to cut quite deeply into the hair, just every sort of other centimeter and what it will do is it will just help you to give you that Little bit of volume that you're looking for okay, rather than using, like texturizing scissors, all the way through the hair cut, because that can make it feel a little bit wispy on the end. So this is quite sort of blunt here. I'M just going to come in through here and i'm just taking out little sections. Okay, not that you can see what i'm doing, because you're glasses on anything right is that why you're looking over in the top corner over there i'll take your word for it. Look, i said: is there a burrito there and then this is quite a bit longer than the rest of your haircut. So whenever you had your hair cut last, they obviously left that quite long through the front yeah well last time there i asked them not to take anything off the top, really like a tiny bit, okay way too much right. Okay, so they just didn't listen to what you're saying yeah this front is quite disconnected from the rest of it yeah. Okay, so you got like really long. Then you got really short bit here. So that's what they did. What they did was they cut into this and then thought? Oh, he said no, don't get so we'll leave that bit long, so he doesn't know yeah, but you did obviously because then you went home and watched it yeah. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to pull this forward and i'm going to just take a little bit off the ends here. But what i'll do is i'm keeping it i'm keeping all the length here yeah? This is the longest point and i'm just cutting through the haircut rather than picking it directly up and then cutting cutting it and cutting it at an angle as well. So it lays longer, but it's not blended in it's not connected. So i'm going to use a little bit of um sea salt spray that we discussed this. You know about you having about you having um a little bit of texture through the top, you don't need very much. It smells beautiful. It does smell amazing. How does that say that? What what is what is it, what um? So it's, the it's, the it's bigger, there's, no there's no fragrance! What'S the fragrance, the four vices is the actual fragrance and what they do is they have so they have a different series of them, so they have like the gold one. They have a silver one yeah and they they have different fragrances depending on what you're into so you can have like. So if you had a big beard, you'd have a temple, smoke, beard, oil and then you'd have the sea salt spray that goes with it. It matches yeah and it all matches, so you would not carry you're not wearing four or five different fragrances, yeah yeah, because when you think about actually most people have at least three or four fragrances on their body at once. So you've got the smell of your laundry yeah yeah and then you've got smell of your shower gel yeah, and then you smell the smell from your deodorant, yeah, potentially, and then you've got whatever hair products and then whatever ear products, beer products or oils or aftershave. So you can have four or five fragrances on one person yeah at one go. So what see, what i'm doing so i'll take another nozzle off the hair dryer yeah, because the nozzle will help it to lay flatter yeah. So we don't want that. We don't want that and what i'm doing is i'm sort of massaging the root whilst i'm drying it. So when you've got a product in your hair that helps to thicken it up and give you texture, don't just give it a blast and leave it. Actually, you sort of work, your fingers into the root and the more movement you give the root area yeah the more volume you're going to create when you're drying it yeah, there's nothing quite like a fresh haircut. Oh it makes you feel safe makes you feel good. Doesn'T it yeah yeah i've been walking home so confident, i'm so good, using the corner of my detailer just to soften up that little blend there there we go sam yeah looks like we're nearly there, okay um. I want to put if it's okay with you just a bit of finishing product into the hair, yeah um, i like the facial hair. So i'm going to leave that as it is. If that's okay, yes, it looks good um, let's use a little tiny bit of the old money. So this is a styling balm. So i'm only going to use a really small amount, because i only needed a small amount of cake, but it's quite thick yeah um and when you work it into your hands, it sort of softens up yeah softens up and i'm going to put it in through The front first, i'm going to put it in through the main body of your hair yeah. Is that so you don't end up with loads in the front. It looks that's what everyone does yeah yeah. Everyone does this, they put their, but they put it in their hands. They do that yeah and then all their products here and they've got nothing in the back to get people with fluffy hair at the back yeah. All the products at the front and then they wonder why it was really greasy yeah, so work through the heavy bit first yeah. Oh, that smells amazing as well. Okay, my man! I want you to stick on your glasses. The final respect equals yeah, that's sweet, perfect and then let me just show you the back yeah. That'S really nice, nice nice amount of heavy heaviness yeah nice even line through there yeah it's enough heaviness to sort of show off that. That'S the look! You were going for yeah without it looking crazy heavy, you know without being yeah yeah, exactly whoever knew sweat could smell so good. I did because i've been using beard brand's new deodorant grab it at beardbrand.com,

M A N A S: People who don't understand this haircut haven't watched Peaky Blinders. Don't blame the guy if he has thin hair, you don't understand the compulsion to have Thomas Shelby's haircut.

The Random Stuff Channel: People seem to think that they will get the face of the actor too... If the simply get their haricut

Calvin Butts Bespoke: Client: here is a picture of what I want Barber: here is what I am going to do instead

L Clark: We bald dudes can rock the Heisenberg with no problem and it's completely free

Daniel: He should've embraced the Harry Potter look.

Ken Masters: This guy wanted a short 2 block but instead got a fade :/ I can feel his pain in the end.. You can tell he doesn't like it.

Sid Gaskin: he showed you what he wanted, he told you what he wanted, and you still didn’t give him what he wanted...

Matthew Adams: Love the video thank you Mahesh! (He really should be the patron saint of YouTube barbers!) All of us who do men’s hair know how tricky it can be to walk the line between a “wrong” haircut and a Peaky cut you can actually wear in everyday public

cassio alberto dias da costa: Mahesh seu cortes são muito bons, parabéns...!!! Diadema - São Paulo - Brasil.

Mr. Bates: I don’t think the barber did that on purpose, I just think the client didn’t have enough hair in order to achieve the desired style. This was probably the best he could do with the length he was given

M X: I love this rough but complex cut - great work Mahesh

Skylar Jon: I'm so glad it's not just me who noticed that about styling powder! I love what it does to my hair, but my scalp gets all sorts of messed up if I don't was it out right away. I'll definitely try a sea salt spray now

Rafi: So good to see you’re back Mahesh! You’re the best. So much competence and a master gesture!

Le Ténia: Still looks like Harry Potter as soon as he puts the glasses back on

Amal S. Kuriakose: This guy Mahesh knows what he is doing and is in fact so good at it! Great work! :)

Jon McClane: One thing I’ve learned in watching Beard Brand all these years is that the English fucking love Peaky Blinders.

Dann Evans: When the barbers talking to the audience and he's just like yeah, yeah, yeah

thrivenotsink: Mahesh is the man. Such a great attitude when cutting and styling; bloke has a real passion for it

Steve Henkel: These two really knew how to communicate to each other. The client really knew what he wanted and how to express it in barber terms. I thought that was awesome. I don't know if I'd ever be able to be that precise. What I also thought was interesting was that Mahesh gave the best promotion of ending "Scent Confusion" that I've ever heard but then proceeded to put Old Money Styling Balm on top of 4 Vices Sea Salt Spray. Can someone help me out here? Am I missing something?

ya Boy Jonez: "Last time I had my haircut I asked them not to take anything off the top really.. and they took way too much." "Right ok so they just didn't listen to what your saying." "Pretty much yea."

punkinmyvitamins1: With the amount of hair this guy had all the barber had to do was clip up and only blend the back a little. I stopped going to barbers 12 years ago. I cut it myself. Especially with this kind of cut. It’s so easy. The worst feeling is walking out of a barber unhappy and still having to pay them, and tipping on top of that. Then having to see yourself with something you didn’t want until it grows out enough to do it all over again. Every time I asked a barber or hair stylist to leave the top alone, they cut it, and way to short at that. Once I started cutting it myself I learned what works with my head shape. I get there’s some kind of blending technique they learned at barbershop school but the problem is the barber can’t read your mind and you know exactly what you want it to look like; which is probably messy as fuck, but they’re just doing what they learned to do in their training and end up doing too much of it. Word of advice: do less. Unless they ask to cut more. At that point it’s their fault for asking.

Jeffrey Rosenfeld: I wish I could talk to the barber like that....

Melvin NL: FACTS. the feeling after a fresh cut is awesome

Nicholas Garcia: Was just looking into getting this haircut last night. Must be the zeitgeist.

Hans Blond: i started to experiment with my own hair cuts a lot thanks man! :-) (cutting my own hair since 2020!)

Lir Meaney: Ah yes . Explain the excellent BeardBrand product line to us Europeans who can't buy it

Ryan Boshell: I can’t thank barbers enough. This guy’s hair is never, ever going to do the Cillian Murphy thing. His skull is a different shape, his hair is thin, fair and receding. What a barber.

Richard Pearson: Really like this cut looks great.

DisagioDaCompetizione: Without eyeglasses he looks so much like Aaron Paul imo. Great work as usual Mahesh!

Esteban A: His hair isn't that thick but he's still rocking it

Jonah Wolfinger: If i were to get my hair cut short the Thomas Shelby is what I’d get probably.

Producer Frost: Nobody will ever break the sacred rule of telling the barber he did a bad job …

Jasaba senara: Why can't all barbers talk you through the cut? Respect to this barber.

twmusicoustic: Working at a barber shop, definitely number 1 reference these days. Peaky Blinders. However it can go wrong so fast, be careful what you wish for.

Greg Turbeville: Great cut. Looks good on him

Le Cobra: This video perfectly illustrate why I cut my hair myself.

roussakis crystal: so good to see mahesh the coolest and the best professional barber ever

Beard under a Barbell.: Nice to have you back, Mahesh!

Mark Jehu: Great to see Mahesh back!

bekal K: I really don't understand why Mahesh is point cutting so deep into the hair... With this haircut you want the hair on top to be heavy, so no point cutting on this kind of thin hair! See from yourself, compare the before and the after, he definitely lost volume which is so important for this haircut

Pumpkin Face: I'll never understand why barbers never give you the cut you ask for even with pictures as a template. I don't care if you're trying to play it safe, I don't care if my head shape is different. I'm paying you as a customer for something specific so do it! If it comes out looking messed up then I'll take full responsibility for my decision to get that cut in the first place!

max ringold: Mahesh must be tired by now of people coming in and saying 'make me look like a peaky blinder' lmao

Rich 87: Love it

NLSkooch: Mahesh explained why you should wear one scent on your body, and then used different scents of spray and balm.

Student of Nature: I just loved the conversation they were having while haircut

1Jack Valley: Mahesh you are the master as always✂

Karewa Tuwhangai: Just give the man what he wanted!!! Instead of putting a hipster twist to it ffs ‍♂️

Rus: Mahesh is the best barber I've seen imo

ZeTerr0r: One thing I absolutely hate is when you show the hairdressers a harsh style And then they dull it down because they personally don’t think it’s appropriate or that that they don’t like it “Let’s do a modern twist “ “It’s still the look you were going for , just not as harsh “ How about you fuck off , do what I want for MY hair . You get paid to give the customer what they want not to treat me as a bloody experiment or one of your playthings Had to vent this , the line at the end about it “being not as harsh but still what you were going for “ Pissed me off a bit Good video tho !

brandon causey: Time and time again I see all of these hair channels giving haircuts to people who don't have the hair to pull off these hair styles lol

alma thees: Nice style!

S Sing: If a barber would fade my hair like that i would be mad

Joey Greco: Showed him a picture with a haircut and he actually got it. These barbers are rare and they are fckin diamonds I’m sick of 20 minute 30$ unskilled haircuts ... where can I find a decent barber in fckin Ohio???! I miss Europe Well done sir

Christopher Guerra: Bunch of haters in the comments... Dude looks fresh before and after

Jon Ramsbottom: I want my hair cut at THIS barber!! Sign me up!

Koray Kilic: Another masterpiece from mahesh!

F CHINO-jr.: Great cut, looks good on him

Pako Maciel: He wanted the haircut he had at 4:18

J MAC: I wish this guy could cut my hair.

Хищник Н.: Отличная работа

William Boxwell: I like the cut!!

Eddy D: The haircut is pretty good considering the guy has completely different texture hair

Christine: He should’ve went shorter in the front and got rid of all the wispy little hairs still looks great though

Schlumm: The glasses hit it, Harry!

BEX BARBEARIA EXECUTIVA: Top demais

Rodrigo Paixão: Normally this type haircut stay a very heavy line rather than fade!! Very good job my friend!!

Dorothée U: The master at work again. ❤️

Will Dev: Well let’s hope he doesn’t like the spray too much seen as he can’t buy the thing

Wxlfie94: I wish I could find a barbers who actually cares this much about their customer and not treat you like another number

Alexcia xA: The haircut actually suits him ngl

Rob: Always appreciate the videos Beard brand. -Rob from Michigan

han jammer: The haircut was ready at 4:20

Jordan Dickson: Fantastic video mate!

Adan Khan: Does anyone have a eBay link or Amazon link for the hair wax/ gel ?

Kaddy Lakk: Wow! Great cut Very handsome.

Luke Richards: Yes Mahesh !! Smashing it

Thom Bykov: Tommy Shelby and this guy have two completely different sets of hair

Frank Gamez: So glad he pushed back on that barbers ideas. The client is fucking telling him what he wants!!

Leandro Fataccioli: Where can i get a barber like him, i’m from new jersey

ykdickybill: Dudes seems to know what he’s doing.........

Jeez Louise Papa Cheese: Jeez I haven’t watched any of these since mahesh left lol. I was shook when I saw him in the thumbnail.

ああ: いつかこの髪型流行りそう

Genaro Diaz: Thomas Shelby cut is much higher and with less clip over comb, and tbh it’s a little more on the south side cut too it goes upward from the front to the back

Yodin Yogi: I think the dude looked amazing after the haircut. Plus I don't think he is receding. It seems like a high hairline and thin hair.

Adam Dem: Bro looked like he was about to kill himself! Next time just do the haircut he asks for and don’t do your own idea to his hair

Indiana Jones: From computer geek to accountant

Chris Wheeler: Mahesh really makes Beardbrand Beardbrand.

Aaron Kelly: I'm getting Thomas Shelby haircut, life is now complete

ATM: He asked for certain cut he showed you the cut then you put words into his mouth an gave him a totally different cut typical barber

Liam Smith: You need a certain kind of hair and head to pull this one off fellas.

Mike C: Damn, you think they got a hair system in this style? I’ll ask LeBron.

Eoin Denniston: You just basically wanted to skin fade him typical barber

Colin-kun :3: Looking good

vzgsxr: Nice haircut, nothing like the picture he showed you though.

Rick kuklinski: With every hair cut like this you gotta talk like this " Fookin Ell mum I look like Harry Potter"

Harshal Chavan: Now tommy is going to change his hair style

Notorious BKB warrior: Peaky blinder haircut is a undercut not a solid line of hair

Ritesh: people are harsh about his hair cut, when they themselves have bad hair and are too afraid to try anything new

Edgar Morales: Un billete de Perú

Jordan Hanly: Should have steered him away from this cut, his hair isn't thick enough
