Hi, I'm Ricky Dave just a tree mother time, yeah. Okay, it's gon na create a baseline of the number two. Thank You Stephanie. What leaving yeah I've got that contracts of employment last night. I just thought coffee coaster, yeah, hey clapping of Saturday morning, so it's using a C motion when I'm flicking out on that. Okay. So second guideline number one: why scoff going to okay? Now, I'm gon na work out my point, my zero, I'm a 1! So I'm going to blend with a point, seven five and then 0.5 to get rid of that wait, their point. Seven five! You see that line disappearing even with a fire. This kid's got quite better hair darker hair would need a lot more. A lot more work on it be honest, there's a little bit of just a little bit of weight there like I can see so I'm not gon na go straight in with a zero or two I'm just gon na pick it out slightly with. Like a point. One just on that one little section with it: nothing else needs it. It were too heavy-handed if you go in with a flipper again just why don't you need to remove that little bit away? Yeah! Okay! Now I'm gon na work on the zero on the oil. The double zeros here to say so I'd remove any hair at the bottom. I just get the bottom of the plate here, just literally flicking out so that my oils don't grab the hair head. Lice is short with a foil. The kiddies had like a low kind of / medium face. There isn't much to foil. So normally I on this kind of kind of fate. I just flick out just the bottom, with the foils but say it was a higher fade. I'D have actually put a section in with with a guideline with a with a foil and then I've blended, the foil from double-0 foil 2.1 with this, but that's not necessary on this book again just flicking out with that C motion, you don't even putting the lines In you can go down and go out with the foil to try and smooth out any any marks or lines that you do put in. I was always taught to get down first and then to flick up on the way back up the down first, so that you're, smoothing the hair and then back up blend. Some irritation is is often with this often occurs. You just put a bit of alcohol at the end and it will make sure it's C order. There'S no bacteria on that food, so I can see a line here that I've put in with the with the detailer with these sorry with the foil and what I'm going to do is and remove that line with this. When you have tools, while you find - and you learn what blends what so sometimes say, I use the wild fall. I can't blend the wild foil with this super liner. It just doesn't. It just doesn't work, whereas I'd used the and this profile for this. For the wall foils for blending, the line out so different tools, work with different different combinations, work really well, and that's the way it's gone from that. So now that we're gon na blend out this we're going to take this to a little bit higher and we're going to blend their one into the two using a 1.5 grab will take some off the top Yesenia sending a light trim. But at the moment I what I wanted to kind of have here - I want to shape trying to create shape that sides as well. I don't want to just go straight up a lot of yeah yeah, oh yeah, yeah. Of course, it's only a little bit off the top. The niche trim yeah at this two-and-a-half, just letting me take my fade a little bit higher. Sometimes I decide for wanted how I want the size to go kind of at the end of the fade. So I'll put a guideline in, but I may move it up slightly as the cut goes on there 1.5 guard and then I'm going to put it into a 1.75 position. This has really really easy to fade. He'S kind of like horse hair, but other hair may need a lot more lot more work on a fade. That is so particularly here. Now I'm going to work on this this area here, so I can feel the occipital bones there. So I've took my fade just below the occipital bone, because I can see the shape of the head. Can Warren be blending out so? But I have a dark patch here which I'm going to take out with a 1.25. Now I'm not going I'm not digging in the head here, I'm literally just flicking out. It'S really easy to move up your fade as well, and you end up having to take fake, higher and higher and higher, so always just make sure that you you'll be a minimal with your strokes, not your vinegar, strong, okay! Now we're gon na work on that sideburns blend in and then we'll get to the top here so 1.5, just finding what kind of depth what kind of length data needs to be to blend it in so drop it down till one always try and blend up From the ear from the bottom of the year, so I'll put my one five in the bottom here and work up and that way you don't end up with blended sideburns at one key and then closed, then I take off the guard run that half so half Closed leaver, I'm gon na finish it a zero. So it's just a light trim on the top mate yeah yeah same kind of style yeah before the poor doing. Is it going to the left engine source going that way? Okay! So I'm going to take a section straight across there, because I'm cutting Cadiz having hair forward I'm going to cut the hair from the back to the front so in the direction of the Clipper. This style sorry trim that I'm point cutting so that you get a lot of texture into this, really like some messy style on the top. So I'll pull that forward X. Take your snippet from my last section, and that's me see where I need to cut. I normally leave the hair slightly a cut at an angle if he wants to start to go that way, I'll be cutting just a slight angle there. So the hair was higher on this in the center of the head than it is inside. That kind of helps with styling door and the front always needs to be longer yeah pull that up like a 20 degree angle. Now I'm going to comb the hair, nice and bit forward, so I can see what needs to come off. I know he hasn't got taken him off. The top. I'Ve got sides to work on now and also the fringe to the Fringe might have a little bit more, but I want to dry that first and pull that down, see what I can take off it when it's dry, but now we're working on these areas here. So I like to leave that before because I know I want to cover that section of hair there I don't want. I don't ever take that short and little expose the recession area here, so I like to hold that down and pull that back now. If you come out this cyclist, you see that disappearing anyway, that hang on the hair. You can see it straight away just from doing what I'm doing hello in a scissor over comb straight over here using a nice wide wide comb, so seven inches are using my mirror just to check. I'Ve got a nice kind of shape to the hair here and it's equal on both sides, because what I would want is it to be kind of lumpy here or lumpy up here, and I can see there it's nice on both sides. So it's even all the way around I've kept. My guidelines have helped with the creative will even fade, and my blending is working nice on top here as well, and then by pulling that section back in poking around I've kept this length here, which is what I was trying to do so that I haven't cut This short, I wanted this hair long here now. If I just pull try pulling hair back from here, I would have chopped a lot. Okay, I like to finish off any blending with just 20 % thinning scissors just because it takes out any infections. This is not essential and it can be done with just as a Motorhome. It does take a lot of time. All right, you can add a little bit of texture. You see, I think, about Harry's. There look every bloodline, okay, everything I do it's gon na reverse! Reverse checks to the hair. It'S what you feel a bit weird. I can cut all your hair off, but I'm not okay, so I'm not actually cutting the hair. I'M just cutting little bits, also outside in the texture again before styling, I'm just gon na lay it at the edges, make it nice and tight around here, just trim that neckline and then I'm going to stick a bit of a beer brand sea salt spray in It and dry it so the it's set love each edge of the eyebrow, while I'm here as well finishing touches and now we're ready to style, believe our school napalm, blow-drying hotbird, take a round brush and a film wait, yeah and then it's like to steal, steal The bat with a bit of a favor all right for you, sweep cheers uh nice to meet you beardbrand is a premium men's grooming company with products not only for your beard, but also your hair and body. James Wright: Loved this video... amazing skill... one question what was the spray u used at the end of the cut on the neck... DAISY LOU: Well explained - thank you! Great cut!

tubbyrainbow111: This chap is a serious barber, respect from Ireland bro

Journeyman: I like the textured fringe and fade combo!

Balance Male Grooming: Finally someone at beard brand that can give a half decent fade!

Harry Blendz: None of the barbers in my area understand the concept of “disconnected” or “squared sides” it’s such a let down. If only I had the confidence to cut my own hair... nope

Marten L: Really nice video - how about putting the barbers name in the description for anyone that would like to request him(or her) by name when making an appointment?
