Welcome back to another edition of the babalons hair styling tutorials, here today we have Ollie. He is going to be our model with a undercut this time. What we're going to be doing, though, is introducing imparting into the left hand, side fading it down to a half on the bottom edge, and then, when we style it will be bringing it back. But reducing this way on this side, which gets very heavy and tends to drop down quite a bit, so what we do is we get slightly the cut and Carolyn you, okay, so now that we're cutting Ollie's now what we've done is: we've cut the slides just Taking it down to a half on the bottom edges and we're going to be blending it up now this bit of hair up here, it jumps out quite a bit. So when we're cutting it, we're going to leave a little bit alone from this edge here and blend it in to the sides. So when it's styled, you can put it down, then bring it across from where tapering the edges. So it looks more natural okay. Now that we've cut the hand we're going to be starting it now defining the party before you start. So what we're doing is we're combing it into place. It'S very important that when you dry it you're drying the parts in straightaway right, so we're going down with the hairdryer in this direction and then to reduce the weight and get more height on it. We'Re going to drive this side over in this direction, okay towards the planting, so we get some height going through there and then once it's dry, we can put product in it and bring it backwards when you're drying your hair, it's quite important, so it gets no, Which brush to use now I like to use the bed brush to create volume through the house. You can see. There'S got holes in the back that allows the air to go through the brush to dry the rest of the hair as you're pulling it up, and that will create more volume through there. I'M going to be using that through the top, and what we have here is the classic Denman brush is anti-static and keeps the hair smoother and closer to the scalp. So I'm going to be using that down the parting, keeping that quite flat and then through the back in the crown just to get that shape in the round. Look now that you've dried your hair using our products, we're going for quite a matte, looked thing, and so we're using a cream just to give it a quite soft hold but dry, putting into the middle of your palm and really working it around your hands. All of your hands, it's quite important, to get an even spread throughout the hand. The more you work, this products, the thicker and lighter it becomes, and then you go through with your fingers fast using them as a kind and then when it runs out when your fingers work it back around and just really go to town on they're all grabbing. It using your palms as long as it's through the hair. Even then, you can put into shape like them. Now you have it. This is a slide pot. An undercut. Thank you for watching

WalkThroughsInMinute: Awesome Hairstyle! Nice Job! I'm using Bed Head Matte Separation Wax on my Thick Asian Straight Hair. I don't know if it's the blow drying or the product, but my hair won't stay back and kinda "dismantles" because my hair goes up in a poofy, not staying sleek. My hair is 5 inches. Any idea of what to do? Thanks
