How To Style Greasy Hair - Second Day Hairstyle For Short Hair

This video is on how to style second day, greasy hair.

Washing your hair too often isn't good for your hair as you just wash away the natural oils your head creates and then try to re-hydrate your hair with conditioner. Wearing greasy hair is the better more natural choice for your hair and will keep it much healthier, as well as save you money on shampoo! The only problem is that society is used to seeing fresh clean hair, not greasy, as are you I'm sure, so the shift can be difficult. With this short hair tutorial I'll show you a hairstyle I like to wear on days I choose not to wash my hair and go with my dirty hair instead.

This style is done on short hair but has good tips for long hair as well. If your hair is greasy, this hairstyle is for you!

Laura LP Hair

Hey everybody, my name is Wu and for tonight's video I'm going to show you how you can style it, your greasy dirty hair. So I don't know what you guys, but I hate washing my hair. I only do like once a week, maybe twice we just sort of you know it depends on the day or whatever week I'm doing out. My hair is styling all that, so I don't like watching my hair all the time because I hate having to blow-dry. I hate having to like do all this stuff all the time with it, because there's so many other things I want to be doing with my time like going to the park or hanging out with my hubby E, or you know what anything, even though I love Styling, my hair, I don't want to have to spend like a half an hour and every day I want someone, do it so. The first thing you need to figure out how to do is work with your bed head. So you wake up your hair side, things off this way, this weights off this wing you're like I'm so disgusting. I need to wash this. You need to just play around with it a little bit so what I do in the morning and I wake up and I'm looking like really wild. You just got ta. You know, rub it around and see what it's doing see. So I've woken up today with my hair like this, I never wear my bangs like this, but this is how they naturally part. What can I do about that? I don't have to rewatch them. Oh look! I just pull them off to the side like this see rough from the upper like that. This is something strange pull pieces like this move. This your hair is always gon na move. Okay, if you have to spritz a little bit of water on it, if things are really bad and just get it moving around and let it go with the flow, don't try forcing your hair in other directions. If it's not going the way it normally goes, then just try something different. You know which is work on it. You don't want to be doing your hair all the time damaging for it. Just you know, let it be so there you go wrap it around, get it kind of looking flat it flap it. You know in its place. The next thing you need to probably worry about is your hair. So some greasy, like my bangs, underneath here, see this you're looking stringy they're, looking pretty nasty, I could wash my bangs, but my pink will fade and I hate that. So what I do is I put a little bit of flour at my hair and that's fine. It'S good for you because you can eat it right, so I'm sure it's gon na be fine for your hair, so I just take a little bit and just sprinkle it in my hair. Just like this put it anywhere that it's starting to look bad. The flower. Look works really really well if you have blonde hair because it just blends right in and make sure you don't leave it on your shirt, something just blends right in. If you have dark hair, what you can do is use cocoa powder, because it's brown again, it's not sure you can mix it in with the flour to get the right shade. If you want or just put that in because if you have dark hair, that kind of sucks, if you put flour in it and then you see white and mine, look at that - I'm looking so nice and fresh now perfect. So can you see how well that works there? My bangs just look all bright and new, my pink isn't as bright and pink as if I washed it, it's a little bit muted looking, but at least it's not greasy looking - and you can just put this everywhere in your hair. Sometimes you know like I put it into my crowd and not just my bangs put it everywhere, but my bangs don't get the creases, because you know from my face lotion that I put on it picks up the crease. I'M always touching with my hands greasy hands from dirt. Touching things bubble lobola. You know the drill. So two three days ago, when I washed my hair, I just scrunched it and blow-dried it like you know just and I had it kind of curly. So I'm gon na try to keep up with that now because I put a hair product in it the other day I'm gon na try not to do too much from it and I'm just gon na work with it. You know I've already got I'm choosing to curl it again, because I've got the curls and I'm not gon na straighten it. If I've done this because it's gon na be counterintuitive to what my hair is already look, I'm gon na have more damage. I just want to do as little as possible to it so where I just have a few straight chunks, I'm just gon na add a few little flips and curls, and I wanted to go with this messy. Look that I already have so I'm just gon na go away. You know flip it here flip it. There just go with what I heard already we're looking like. If your hair is done completely straight, maybe you're gon na need to just straighten a few pieces. Do whatever, but I try much as I can - is to do as little as possible to damage my hair because I love my hair. So I want it to be nice and healthy, see, and for me, I find is a few little pieces will make such a difference. Make me look like I've done the entire thing, even though I really haven't - and you know I was thinking before I made this video was gon na put my things up, but I actually kind of like them like this, so I'm gon na leave it which it's Fun when you're working with yeah, you know hey it changes along the way with it morph into whatever it's gon na, be go with the natural rhythms of your hair. So there we go. I'M gon na put a little bit of a hairspray in it, but not much because it puts them in the other day. I don't like to do too much, but because it puts them in look how nice and big it already is. Seed really big and I find sleeping on it, just makes it bigger like my hair continuously, even though it gets crazier, it's looking better. So I'm just gon na spray a little bit that in and just go with this messy look that I've already got going on. So and there we go so there is my hairstyle for the day and you just saw how long it took just a couple of minutes. Awesome perfect! That'S all I wanted to do and my hair looks good. I didn't have to put it through too much. That'S what I like sewing: they, let me know how it goes you trying to style your hair coming up with. Yes pinning it. You know this or that, and I'm subscribed to my channel. Let me know what you think: bye guys.

Rose Niland: Hey just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your videos, I have an anxiety disorder called trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling) for the first time in about 10 years I've started to grow my hair rather than shave it and it's lots of different lengths. But watching your videos inspires me so much I think I miay be able to pull off a great look going with the alternative ways of cutting and styling. Keep up the good work Xx

Jessica Mia: I've been doing the cocoa powder dry shampoo forever. works wonders for brunettes :)

Amy Matthes: Thank you for this...I totally need to get better at NOT washing. Question: if you put product in to straighten (or protect), should you put more in on the days you do not wash? Basically, should I put product in every day?

rileyzoe1: I love you & your hair videos! Yous should do a Get to Know Me video. Tell us about you, your hubby, your hometown, your work, etc... Would love to get to know you!!!

Bradley Taylor: You have nice biceps
