Hey everyone its wrist and today, I'm gon na show you how I did my wedding vine, I'm starting off with dirty hair. No, this is not freshly washed or conditioned, but I am gon na start by spraying. Some water in my hair - and this is a water bottle that I bought from Sally's Beauty Supply Store. It is so great, I love it so much so I'm just getting my hair just a little bit wet, not too too saturated after my hair is pretty damp. I'M gon na use one of my favorite leave-in conditioners. This is the main choice: proceed with caution: four-way conditioner, next, to help me with the detangle process a little bit more. I'M gon na use this silicone brush that I got again from Sally Beauty. Now I'm gon na begin to blow-dry my hair and I'm using this Revlon blow-dryer that I got from Amazon and I'm using my silicone brush just to help me distribute the heat a little bit quicker versus you know just blow-drying, my hair by itself. Now I'm gon na use another cream product, and this is just to make sure that my hair is nice and moisturized before I go in and put the gel on top - and this is the Maui moisture, coconut oil, curl milk, alright. So now we're getting into the fun part you guys. This is seriously my favorite Jill of all time. I don't know what the heck Kourtney did when she created this gel, but this main choice, killer, curls and buddha. Bounce dualistic gel, oh my gosh. It is so good, so it has two gels in this jar. One side is for your curls and then the other side is to hold your edges down this edge. Gel is so good, and I'm gon na put this around the perimeter of my hair. Since you guys know my hair is short, I'm really making sure that I get a lot of it most of it in the back, so the hair can stay up once I brush it up. If that makes any sense once I feel like, I have a pretty good amount of gel on my is I'm gon na go in with my you know this basic rat tail comb. Y'All know we gets black girls and you know rat tail comb mm-hmm, I'm gon na go in and kind of comb that gel through the hair just so that it's evenly distributed. Then I'm gon na take my boar bristle brush. You guys know that you can get this when you look a beauty supply store, but I stole this one from my husband and I'm gon na make sure that I brush the gel thoroughly through so that I smooth my curls up. So they don't revert and you know just spiral outside of the bun if that makes any sense, and then I'm gon na smooth it and smooth it and smooth it more until I feel like it's good enough to put up in the rubber band now, on my Actual wedding day, I used a smaller basic black rubber band, but I had to randomly find this one in my kitchen, because God knows where my tub of black rubber bands went on my actual wedding day, just because it was just so crazy, but really any rubber Band will do now, I'm just gon na decorate. My edges, you guys know I love to do my little sideburn, swoops and swirls, and this part is really just personal preference. However, you want to do your edges. Do your edges the way you want to do one? This is just the way that I personally like to do them, so I'm gon na show you guys a process all right, so I'd go off to say that this is probably the most important step in this hairstyle. If you have short curly hair like I do you want to get a really good scarf, that's big enough to cover your whole head. I got this one from my beauty supply store, so I'm just gon na start from the back and then work my way to the front and then tie the scarf. Now you want to tie it tight, but not too tight to the point where you get a headache, because I've done that before and it's not fun to wear for two hours. So you want to make sure that you keep this on for an hour minimum. I usually wear my for about two to three hours, just because my hair is so short in the back and the longer you wear it, the better. Your edges are going to stay and then I'm going to be using this free, trous braiding hair that I got again from a beauty supply store, but you can also get it off of Amazon if you don't feel like doing outside of the house now, I use To 28 inches because the longer it is the more hair you have to work with, and the thicker the bun. So just remember that, and then I also use two packs of this after the hair is secured on my bun. I'M gon na take some more gel and I'm gon na smooth that on each section, because this hair is kind of difficult to work with. If you don't have something to hold it in place, because it is braiding here, so I'm gon na take that first section of hair and begin to wrap that around the base of the bun. But I'm twisting it as I go so as I'm wrapping it. I'M twisting it and then I'm literally just wrapping it around the base of my hair and that's gon na serve as the foundation of the blend. Once I get to the end of that section of hair, I'm going to take an open hair pin and I'm just gon na tuck that right underneath the hair that I just twisted and I'm gon na secure that with the hair pin. So this is really kind of just eyeballing it. If you feel more secure using more hair pins then go ahead and use more hair pins. But since I kind of know how to do this already, I just only need one or two, then I'm gon na take that second section of hair and I'm kind of gon na do the same thing except for this time. Instead of keeping it super low, I'm gon na kind of stack it and twist it around the first section of hair that we twist it around the bun. Then I'm going to take my next packet here and do the exact same thing, except for this time. I'M gon na, let you guys watch me stack it on top of the first pack of hair that we twist it around that button. So you just want to make sure that all of the rubber bands and all of my natural hair is covered with the twisted section of hair. So I'm going to, let you guys watch me do this once you feel like your bun is really really secure and as I look lopsided, it's not gon na be perfect, but it should look really good and secure. Then you can start decorating your bun with the pewter hairpin. I got these flour pearl hair pins from my local beauty supply store, and these are the ones that I actually wore on my wedding day. So I'm just gon na use these to fill in the perimeter of the base of the bun and then once I'm finished with that, I'm gon na use the basic pearl hair, pins, they're, not flowers or anything they just have pearls on the tips. This is the veil that I wore on my wedding day and I absolutely love it so much all I have to do is slide it in the front part of my burn and that's it.
