I'D like to show you a quick, easy way to do a half up, half down hairstyle that will work for you in both a casual or formal occasion. First, we're going to start by brushing all of the hair back off the face once you've brushed all the hair back off the face and behind the shoulders you're going to want to section the hair, I'm using a tail comb to show you where to make the Parting, take a section of hair just above the top of the ear and go up to the crown of the head like this here. You'Ve sectioned the hair, give the front section and the back section, which is going to remain down hold that with one hand and do the same on the other side above the ear to the crown of the head top of the head, connect it to the section On the other side, cone the one bottom section down and holding it with one hand at the top comb, the hair smoothly to the top of the crown of the head again, this works best with hair, which is not too fresh. The trick to doing the half up half down hairstyle, is to have a little product or have the hair be a day or two old with some product so that the strands of the hair don't slip from your fingers. You just have more control over the hair when you do it this way, once you have all the hair together at the top of the crown, and it's smooth on each side simply take an elastic band which is covered to protect the hair and attach it to The top this will create a ponytail at the top which you can fan out. If it's a more formal occasion, you can even put in a little back combing, underneath to give more volume for a more formal or high fashion, look to make sure it holds pull the ponytail up on the top and add a little hairspray. Then you can bring some hair forward on each side and to create a little softness. If your hair is layered around the front, you can pull out small pieces around the ear around the temple or on the top. Now you may want to add a little bit of hairspray just to keep it all together and only a few minutes you've achieved a quick, easy, fashionable hairstyle that you won't have to worry and works for either a formal or a casual occasion.
