Hey Vogue., It's Emily Ratajkowski., I'm here in Paris.. I have a party tonight and I don't know what to do with my hair.. So I called David Lucas. He's one of the best hairstylists in Paris and I think he's going to try to help me out.. That'S him now. -Bonsoir, David. -Bonsoir. Nice to meet you Emily.. Thank you so much for coming.. I have this party tonight and I want to have French girl hair., I'm a California girl. I want to be cool but pretty. When I usually style my hair. I just like let it air dry and then that's kind of it. -Do. You know coiffé/décoiffé -Yes., I love like undone.. Well, that's like what I want to look like every day., The California girl is undone, but not in a French way. It'S very different.. It'S just more beachy, less city, less chic, more boho., French girls are just so cool and so effortless and American girls have to try a little bit harder.. I don't know if this is a stereotype, but it's how I feel.. I think my favorite thing about Paris is the light.. It'S so beautiful. It'S such a cliché, but it's so special.. I love Paris and the girls in Paris, the romantic…, The women are so chic in Paris, so perfect, so effortlessly cool. David. I need to know something really really important because it's crucial for me to survive in France.. How do you say ``, I'm hungry'', -J'ai, très, faim., -J'ai, très faim, My favorite things to do in Paris include eating sitting out in a café, and then I like walking around the city seeing friends.. I like to pretend, like I'm French, when I'm here, but I feel, like the French know when someone is French or not. And they're like ,'' she's, not totally French.''. I love Jane, Birkin, very obvious, but talk about good hair. You know. Very good hair. Brigitte Bardot. Amazing hair., I feel glamorous and French. Cool.. I love.. Thank you so much.. You need to come and see my full look. -Okay. -The outfit and the dress. Okay. So now I have the French hair, but I need the makeup.. I called my friend Tom Pecheux to come and do my makeup., I'm so excited. He's the best of the best.. That'S him., -Tom -Emily., So Tom. I want a French look tonight.. I want to look as French as possible.. What do I do for makeup? Usually Parisian women don't wear much on their skin and that's what I'm doing now. Very simple, using very little product.. I think French girls are smart with how they do makeup, because it's always… They're very good with their skin.. They make everything blend rather than rebuilding on foundation and powders, so it looks more natural.. They know that a concealer, a mascara and a lipstick will do the job.. For me, the best lips are the ones that you do with the tip of your finger.. I love it., It's beautiful., I love them. The eyes are so pretty. Parfait.. Thank you so much.. I will see you tonight. I hope. Yeah.. I see you later., Let's go., Okay, guys. So now it's time to choose my look for the Kérastase boat party. We'Ve got a bunch of different options.. We'Ve got some new Celine, some Saint Laurent.. This is my dress from Jacquemus., I'm so happy.. I was just at his 10-year anniversary. Show and Jacquemus is an amazing French designer.. Okay guys, this is my look for tonight.. What do you think, Alright, I'm ready for the party.? I will see you guys tonight.. Thank you for watching

HereForAnswers: She looks EXACTLY the same after.

Thevioletdreams: I called a hairstylist to style my already perfectly tousled hair. I called a makeup artist to pretend to apply makeup on my already perfectly made up face. How dumb do you really think we are Vogue?

Schumadien: People saying that she doesn't look French because of the dress or makeup. Okay, I'm French. But... What are French people supposed to look like? We are not all like Jeanne Damas or that kind of stereotype. We. Are. All. Different. Please stop with the stereotypes.

Vic: When she started talking about wanting to be cool girl, I thought she was going to recite the gone girl monologue lol

J L: She’s really conceited I feel like. I know I don’t know her but that’s just the vibe she’s giving me

Chelsea Hunter: It's sad that confidence is seen as being egotistical. She will forever be my woman crush.

Mariam Kirvalidze: “Feminist icon” Emily Ratajkowski stereotypes women according to nationalities for 3 min straight

Laura Johnstone: Being French myself, French women including myself love the more natural look, with a bit of mystery and sexy involved. I don’t that Emily deserves this kind of hate, she is naturally beautiful and yes this video is a bit cliché but aren’t they all?

Carmen Liana: This is exactly how I do my hair and makeup everyday

Fufu issue: She’s so gorgeous, she needs nothing

Oksana Glosman: Would've loved to see an actual before & after. She has her hair & makeup done from the beginning. Plus, her outfit wasn't french-girl chic whatsoever. Can we do a do-over?

girlboss incel: how can one talk 3 minutes and not say anything at all

GigiH: Her hair was perfectly French chic before the hair stylist even touched it.

Kendra Coleman: I think your look is absolutely beautiful!!!

livernguts: That was a really good comedy bit Vogue Paris I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

kathy kalifornia: She's dull but she has that look that gets her attention. She is like Kendall Jenner.

SandButterfly: The dress is so nice, and Emily looks beauuuutiful. Only the hair looks same before and after haha. Hello from Paris !

stfn88: No change whatsoever, she looks exactly the same. Kinda disappointing Vogue

Lola Who: Oh God, girl open the book! American stereotypes about Paris. And basically you can look French or European i. general if you exclude vulgarity and work a bit on ur intellectual side. Whatever... would be sometimes cool that Vogue includes real female artist or scientists for example... that would be inspiring and refreshing... otherwise you just repeat urself with this boring ppl with no content... and u r huge platform who could truly inspire young female to live their potential...

John Ayala: She exudes friendly warmth vibes. Love ❤️ Miss Em

Alessandra: how to be french - style your natural hair - say “J’ai trop faim!” - wear a scarf as a dress *every Parisian girl will be shook*

Lulu Higueras: I don’t understand why so many people hate her. I agree, she looks the same after all of that, but, isn’t that the point? To look as natural as possible? Also, she doesn’t need much makeup to be honest. I don’t know for me she looked GREAT and that Jacquemus dress fitted her perfectly.

Lolita Ekman: Everyone all the time mentioning Jaine Birkin as a french icon when in fact, she was never truly french, she was British!

Myriem Jaziri: She s so classy!!!

Montse Pugh: I feel like a french woman wouldn't wear that dress? they're more mysterious and elegant. Either pick a plunging neckline or a mini dress

Bailey Sadler: When she said she needed todo her make up I thought she was already wearing make up because of how beautiful she is. God damn lol

meryem ouertani: j'ai beaucoup rie... un très bon sketch...

Idzell Blanc: So almost everyone now want to be a French girl Au revoir

Gem Apale- Jeppesen: I feel like she is a victim of having two open-minded and successful parents who have too much expectations of their only child. I don't know her personally but everytime she's out she looks like she is trying so hard to impress that it takes the magic away. For what?

Rebecca Milosavljević: her hair looks pretty much flawless at the beginning of the clip...hmm

Ania O: I am sure they styled her hair first and then made it look tousled and ‘unmanageable’

Maria G: Lol she started the video with cool French girl hair...it was already perfect ‍♀️

marlowe decena: Finally!!!!!!!!!❤️

Suzie: She's adorable:)

Miriam Maxime: first thought when the video began “your hair is already ready if u want the messy “french” look” haha

Aracy Ile: -"I want to look (stereotipically) french" Picks the most californian dress

rich ernest: Fleur de lis stunner and down to earth blend in.

Ren: When someone practices too long how to perform, suddenly the formality becomes CRINGE AF. No offense to Em, she could literally wear garbage bag and look nice.

Watersofjune: I wish my friends showed up as fast as these two guys were at the door...si seulement

Marta Firląg: This dress is definitely not in french style ..

Elvira Hellinger: Your hair looks like before it does not look different..

Tom Lemke: I'm in love with that girl oh my God she is absolutely beautiful she is a god-sent

Greg Thiess: Beautiful... love the dress, Beautiful

Isa Rocha: First of Brigitte Bardot is an icon related to French Riviera not the city of Paris.

Kristen: It’s sad that this woman fights and cares deeply for the very women who are bashing her. Do your research on her before you pass judgement. A pretty face does not take away from her integrity and heart.

domino vita: she looks perfect. Dont understand those haters.

tube watch: LOVE YOU EMILY YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING GOD BLESS YOU SWEET LOVE!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Sabrina Angelina: She still looks the same though? Not to mention I feel like that's way too much make up for what most Europeans wear but okay

Tshering palmu Kachopa: I think your gonna burn down the whole damn party

Stefanie Holmes: She looks L.A., not French.

S love myself: beautiful

babs: she's only famous cus she's pretty...? like an instagram model, but in somewhat of a greater scale idk

Danielle Korneliussen: The hair dresser after he leaves the room: Mom Dieu! Ces filles Américaines sont si ennuyeuse‼️

Yuliyah Mills: She pretty, every women are look good with any styles.

Sabrina Pittini: I Live in Paris since I was born and I never see this cliché with French women I see this cliché in Italia

Julia schwartzmann: What Parisians are teaching guys: natural is beautiful... she is already beautiful there is no need for a disguise

tony ragbir: Absolutely the same look before and after..

愛.: She looks like Kendall Jenner but more natural

daphne Fay Turla: So many insecure on the comment section lol. Emrata is ❤

Stephanie Urrutia: Absolutely love her, but yeah she could of been more drastic cause this was not French

jeroen roland: i'm ready for the party, all what you Now need is fresh cocktail Grand Mimosa, a part st. germain elder flower, orange juice, grand marnier and top it with champange

Amethyst Azul: Its soooooo funny how she mentions her stylists names and they just appear 3 seconds l8tr

A G: The question is..did she learn how to PAY RENT like French girl??!

Melis Metin: Ok... calm down... we all know that you’re a cali girl

H E: She tries so hard to look interesting and intellectual but in fact she is just boring...

Petits Bijoux: The first frame of this video is how French girls do their hair. This could have been a 7 secs video lol.

ni na: *calls a famous hairdresser* looks exactly the same after

Morgan Bankole-Wright: So he curled her hair then frizzed it up. I could have done that.

Julia Galloway: She obviously didn’t like it. Her nonverbal language was so obvious.

My Linh: Ça se voit le coiffeur il est français il a un accent très très français

The LA Gentleman: The best hairstylist in Paris right? Hahahaha

Yourhaiku: For the love of god it’s not BRIDGET Bardot, it’s Brigitte

Keith Livingston: You look exactly the same after he did your hair Lmaoo

Devilious: ''French style is efforless ....''' *he uses curl machine*

sandra brocard: ✨

Alicia Xu: If I saw her on the street like that, I would've thought that she had a busy morning and just brushed her hair. Soz bout it.

Faye: She still looks very american but still beautiful

Camilletlse: Et oui c’est cliché , Emily n’a pas vu notre tronche de tous les jours

Christine Ong: That was disappointing. I thought there’d be more to her as she never ceases to announce that there is.

A. TD: You wanna look French? Odd... The French wanna look American though

Goth Goddess: I’m cringing so hard! This is so ridiculous.

Liz Moreno: Why did you even bothered? I love Emily, but this is a joke. She looks exactly the same afterwards lol

S Jennings: Did I miss something.. she looks the same

Suzie: Funmy how the less attravtive people get so much love and vice versa. Insecure.

Angela Kilroe: Sack the hairdresser your hair looks exactly the same as it did before he arrived.

Zhanar Bayazitova: So many insta girls from Russia copy her look ..brunette shoulder long hair, fillers in lips and brown eyes

Marwa Fahiz: 2:30 doesn’t her hair look unstyled here? Maybe she had her makeup artist come on earlier

Rae: Jane Birkin is English. Like yeah she did French cinema but she is not French!!

Michelle Thwala: is this.. the origin story of Emily in Paris

Julianna: Ahahah they did nothing to change her.....

TheUberDoll: You look like an American girl hitting the club in that dress. Too short, too tight and too revealing. Nothing French there. You could have went for a blush color wrap dress with long sleeves and with some ruffles, knee length. That to me screams French, not this awful revealing one. Bummer...

Pauline S: the way she’s pouting her lips all the time. Girl that’s not effortless at all

just an orange: a lot of the comments talk about how she looks exactly the same but what is that dress

woowoolip: i dont learn anything but shes pretty

Rita Gaston: She wants the French attitude but she cannot achieve it bc she’s too into ‘ sexy’ and playing a role.

Laye chka: Feeling French? What should that even mean?

Carolyn Brown: ...I was expecting Him to gather it all up in a French chignon...all away from her face...instead he starts with the heated curlers which any 1st yr novice could do...

Molar Bear: LOL she looks exactly the same i cant even

Moomin Renjun: I’m French and we not wear that, too much stereotypes

Dana Hash Hash: What's the point in having experts if Emily will do the talking....No take-aways, bland content
