A hey guys and welcome back to my channel. Today'S look is another flashback. Friday beauty, look it's focusing on the 1940s and the hairstyles, so a lot of styles in the 1940s was like the victory rolls and a lot of like kind of pin-up. Look. I really wanted to challenge myself and try something a little bit more out of my comfort zone kind of along the lines of like victory rolls and an updo, because this is something I would never really wear or even try. So I went outside the box and just did it. I had a lot of fun doing it and I would definitely wear it to like a theme party if that ever comes my way. But I hope you guys enjoy this video and if you want to see how I got this look then just keep on watching alright. So I took a shower last night and curled my hair and then slept on it and then just brushed it out this morning. This look is easier if you do curl your hair or have some type of curl in it. If your hair is straight, it just makes the look a little bit more challenging, so i really suggest curling your hair just because it makes it look a lot more manageable to do so to start off, and i have a middle part, but i want to kind Of make the first victory roll more of a side sweep, so I'm going to take kind of like a triangle section in the front of my head, so you can see that it just goes into a point. I'M going to smooth that out with my fingers. So with the front piece you can kind of choose which way you want to roll your hair. You can roll it back so that it looks like more like a sweep in the front or you can sweep it to the front. So that is completely up to you, I'm going to roll it to the front, because the two side pieces that we're going to do later, I'm rolling the opposite way. So with that being said, I'm going to take my two fingers and kind of hold it in place where I want the roll to begin and then take the hair and wrap it around my fingers once I'm happy with the placement, I'm just going to take some Bobby pins and pin it in place, so that's the front role and now, with the two side pieces to kind of just balance out the front and the top I'm going to be taking from the top of my head right to the back of my ear. This section right here and smoothing it out again pulling it upwards, and I want this section to go inwards around in a swirl so taking my two fingers again and swooping it around to create like another kind of roll now you're going to do the exact same Thing you did on this side to the other side, so from the top of my head right to the back of my ear. That'S the section we're going to be working with smoothing it out, while bringing it upwards using your fingers to create the roll and twisting it to the front of my face. Alright, so I decided to flip the front part away from my face just because I felt like it was kind of falling in front and it just wasn't really staying in place for me. If you prefer it flip frontwards then go ahead and do it both ways? Look really cute, and just for me and my hair, it wasn't working, so I had to flip it backwards. So now it's like three rolls on the top of my head. Now, with the rest of your hair, I'm going to show you three ways that you can wear it. You can wear it down and just kind of like brush it through and just leave it at that or you can put it in a ponytail which I think looks really cute with this look, so I'm just gon na show you like a low pony. I think the ponytail with this look is really cute, it's out of your face and then a lot of the focus is on the top of your head. But for the final look, you can kind of make it a little bit more formal and make the ponytail into a bun so pulling down the ponytail just a bit. I'M going to take the end of my hair and just kind of roll it, and then I'm going to pin it into place and to finish off the look. Just take your favorite, hairspray and just kind of spray it into place and smooth out any flyaways. And this is the final look, I kind of feel like bail from like a Beauty and the Beast. I don't know why it's definitely a really cute look and if you're really into that 1940s style, then this look, it's perfect for you, but I would definitely wear this if it was like a theme party or like Halloween or just something fun, and I had a Lot of fun creating this look, and I might try something else next week in the 1940s as well, because I'm really feeling like the victory rules. I hope you guys enjoyed this look and can try something new and if you do like it, give it a thumbs up and subscribe and I'll see you guys in my next video bye. You
