Manic Panic Vampire Red Hair Dye | Answering Questions On My Color!

Hey guys! It was time to refresh my hair color and this time I went for Manic Panic Vampire Red instead of my usual mixture from Adore. Stay tuned until the end for my opinion on the manic panic dye, which is vegan and cruelty free by the way!

ALSO, be sure to leave me a comment asking ANY QUESTIONS you have about my hair color or hair color journey! I plan to film a color themed Q+A video soon! Thanks for watching and as always, please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more videos!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel. I know I've been gone longer than I plan to, but that's because I recently went on a trip to Toronto, Canada. It was super dope. I was a bunch of friends, but I'm back now and that means back to business. So before I jump into this video, which obviously is going to be a haircolor retouch using Manic Panic dye, I wanted to give you guys the opportunity to ask me any questions that you want to know about my red, hair, color. So drop me a comment and ask me whatever you want to know. I plan on filming a Q & A specifically about my red hair, so you can ask me anything one of my future color plans. How has being red changed my hair routine, whatever you want to know, I'm down to answer so, like I said, drop me a comment down below ask away and I'll be sure to film that and hand that up for you guys soon. So without further ado, let's jump into today's video again it's going to be a demo and a review on medic panics, vampire red hair dye. As those of you may know, I already have a haircolor retouch video up on my channel and I will link that up in the cards, but I decided to use something else and film it for you guys. So please stay tuned. It give me a big thumbs up. It helps me out a ton and subscribe to my channel for more natural hair and beauty videos. You already know. I appreciate each and every one of you so much for your support, thanks for watching and until next time. Bye guys, okay, I'm not sure. Hopefully you guys can see that my hair is a little bit washed out. It'S looking a little bit passed down as opposed to the bright or deep red that I usually go for so I'm gon na fix it. So if you guys want to know exactly my process from top to bottom in detail, watch my first hair color video, but I'm just putting it some coconut oil around my hairline and ears to prevent staining it's so consistency wise. It is like a cream paste type of texture via door, which is what I usually use is like, basically liquid, it's very runny and this as you can see, ain't going anywhere. So first thing I noticed I'm just gon na slap it on there keep in mind. I only have this one jar, so I'm gon na start off with a little and then work my way up. I don't want to run out in the middle of my head. You know: okay, my hands are sliding pretty easily over my hair. So I like that. That'S the same as with the adorn. They both seem to give me a little bit of slip. As you can see, I can kind of run my fingers through my ends here, so that's always a plus. So this is what we're looking like right now. Well, like I said before, I only have this one 4 fluid ounce, a jar of this product, so I'm gon na just twist this up and move on to the next and then, if I have extra, I will go back and touch up the sections. While I do this on here, I'm just going to go over some questions that I got on my last colored video just to clear things up. Yes, my hair was blonde. Previously, I did not use bleach. I did a series of several at home box dye color jobs. If you want to know the exact process that I went through to achieve my blonde hair, you can find all the information that you could ever need in my hair color story, video. I will link that up in the card, so check that out. It will tell you everything that you need to know about my color journey and how I got my hair prep for going red. Another question I get is: do Elvis hair color show up if you did not like it or bleach your hair, and the answer is no. This is semi-permanent dye, which means that it is not going to chemically lift your hair color. So if you are working with a dark brown or a black hair color, it's not going to show up the most that you're going to get is a tip. Maybe when you go out and the Sun might kind of feel a little bit of substance, but you will not have red hair if you're starting from you know just naturally dark brown or black hair, it's not going to work. You will need to either bleach your hair at home or go to a professional or use box ties to lighten your hair either to a lighter brown color or a blonde. That is what I did. I will say that if you are going to do any at-home color processes know that there is a higher risk of you know. Damaging is your hair. Color damage is real people, so if you are at all nervous or just not confident in your abilities to do it at home, just save yourself the headache and go to a professional or maybe have a friend help you out yeah. Those are just that's just to answer a couple questions that I got so no semi-permanent excuse my phone, so I mean permanent dye will not lighten your dark hair. You will need to have pre lighten hair in order for this Manic, Panic or the adorn semi-permanent dyes. To show up on your hair, you just want to be mindful that sometimes you can miss areas if your sections are too thick, so you want to split them in half and then get all in between there hey guys. So I am done applying my color and I ended up finishing the whole bottle or the whole jar which was not surprising to me. Ideally, I would have had a second one, but it was fine. You already know I'm going to let this sit for thirty minutes to an hour and then just rinse it out in the shower, probably go wash my hair and cracked it for whatever sound I'm going to do next, which I don't know at the moment. It is late and I'm just trying to get this color washed, so I can get to bed but stay tuned for my final results. So these are my results using the Manic, Panic, vampire, red, hair dye. I love it. It'S more cherry red than I expected it to be. I thought hearing the name, vampire additives going to be kind of deep and dark, maybe more maroon, but it's definitely super bright. I don't know if the camera is really picking it up true to color, but it is red. Let me tell you, but I love it. What do I think about the actual product? I think it was great. There was slip. It feels moisturizing. My hair feels soft. The color payoff is excellent. What else it definitely have too much of a smell. So that's not a problem for me, but one thing that I might say that I don't like is that it's a screw top instead of a squeeze bottle, because you guys know I usually use a door and that comes in a squeeze bottle, which I find is Just a little bit more convenient in terms of being clean and tidy during your hair dyeing process, but you can't win everything right. So that's about the only thing that I didn't like about it. I will have to see how the color lasts and see how it bleeds, as I wash my hair, so I'll, probably post an update. Sometimes I need a few weeks on my Instagram. If you're not following me, go ahead and do that at Kenzi underscore Kenz one. I always link it down in the description box to you guys by the way. So, if you have questions about where you can connect with me, always click that description box, but that's about it for this video guys, I hope you enjoyed. Please give me a big thumbs up. It helps me out so much and until next time, bye

Linda Liriel: I use manic panic vampire red without bleach on my VERY dark brown hair: it gives very strong highlights and my tips, which are more porous due to damage, are a rich red hue. It's definitely worth using it if you want some colour without bleach.

Shae: If you guys want a red that will show up on dark hair try the Loreal Highlights in RED. It lightens and is made FOR dark hair. It's amazing and can be used on your whole head

Samantha Rivas: I appreciate you doing videos like this. I’m a curly head and it’s hard to find videos of people dying their curly hair bright colors so reviews are kinda hard to find. Thank you so much, very helpful and you and your hair are beautiful! ❤️

Divamichelle McIntosh: When you dye your hair use a conditioner after you wash it out even if the directions don’t say to use one. That way your color won’t bleed. I learned that from my sister. her youngest daughter learned that in beauty school.

ethereal intoxicated canary: That shade is gorgeous! It complements you so well. I feel it looks like a ruby was crushed on your head. What I would give for this hair color.

Felicia Maassen: I used to use manic panic vampire red and absolutely loved it. I've gone from purple to red, to black, to blonde, and now a medium brown. I want to transition back to red, but bleach is not an option and manic panic seems to be as best as it gets for darker hair. what tips would you give to maintain the colour and also resisting leakage everywhere. My towels and sheets would get so stained it was terrible! Thank you xx

Amelia M.: It looks so good on you!!! Personally, I’m the opposite and I love that it’s a tub/screw top versus squeeze bottle because sometimes I end up mixing conditioner in and need a place to store it after. But you also get your money’s worth completely with this type of packaging.

Alexis Roach: I love you! You’re so informative and seem so relaxed and sweet! Thank you for this ☺️

CountessChuchoteur: That color looks gorgeous on you

Bronwen Davies: Omg!! I just bought this, and I checked out the other videos onto dark hair which I sadly have aswell and I'm surprised that this one turned out way wat better than I thought, I'm so happy and very excited, I love your hair!!

Fairys Honey: ur a life saver i’m a curly girl that just started dying her hair bright colors so this is very much appreciated lol

Naturally Dope: I dyed my hair this color two weeks ago and I love it looks like I might have to retouch it but the color is holding pretty tight because my hair was already a blonde color as my profile picture you see

Bavila: This color looks amazing on you!

CoyoteCrossing: How long did this last on your hair? Beautiful!

Jenni Tulls: I've used Manic Panic Rockabilly Blue - gorgeous color - but it bled so bad. EVERYWHERE I went/touched turned blue - no exaggeration. I no longer use Manic Panic, I use Directions. I plan to dye my hair pink for Spring/Summer. Good luck to those who want to dye their hair.

KALEIDO jess: This colour suits you so well ✨

PrettyUgLySupErNoVaRuDeGuRL: I add conditioner it helps make it not so pasty & ur jar will last longer;) , love ur style .

Nyleve Campbell: I've used Infria red from manic panic and 4ir from ion color brilliance. With a 30 volume developer. It worked out how i wanted it to. Coz of the red I was going for. Infria red is more of the bright maroon. Although im not a licenced costmotoligist I can say I've watched my hair dresser and YouTube videos to know exactly what to and not to do.

india indo: my hair is super thick and i use one jar and i will actually have left overs. the slip is really good and so is the coverage ! ur hair is beautiful bae i use electric lizard

K.J.: Love the color!!! I've seen other girls on YouTube keep Manic Panic in for 5-8 hours. Have you ever left it in longer than a hour? & did it come out more vibrant or the same? Thanks!

sara gillihan: You and your hair are beautiful! I am going to dye my hair purple with manic panic!

netta26301: As a long time Manic Panic Vampire Red user with Multi Racial Hair. To make the hair color last longer and not run or bleed as much, after you finish putting the color on your hair and then time it..then take off the plastic cap and blow dry the color to infuse it into the hair strands.

Oli Oxen Free: Nice! I really liked this color when I did my hair with it before. I think I'm going to go back to it after I fade my blue out.

Ignis Coepi: Omfg its so beautiful on you and compliments your skin tone PEEFECTLY

Lee Gary: That colour looks gorgeous on you.

Emma Martin: Your hair looks so beautiful and that lipstick especially looks good with it.

A Perez: So detailed n clear thank you ❤️

Zoey Richards: I have black hair and when I used this it definitely worked, it wasn’t super bright but I did get a nice burgundy color

Jen Haze: i love this! I have the same color in, but i've been mixing it with hot hot pink by manic panic to lighten it a bit. I prefer your color payoff tho! *Also, what lipstick color is that?* Looks magical!

Ms. Doris Wallace: Hi Kenzie, the color looks beautiful on you.

Andreea Ramona: I bleached my hair and after i used this colour..fades in pink and i love it❤️i have a nice pink hair after i was red

heather lynn: Just so you know they do have manic panic squeeze bottle. I have a squeeze bottle of purple dye. Maybe look at other stores? Otherwise great video ❤️✨

Yzella: What I used on dark hair was HiColor Loreal for dark hair and 30 volume, did not need to bleach and it took right away, I used to retouch with manic panic... best products ever

Life With Smurf: What do you prefer more to get your vibrant red ? Manic Panic or Adore ? ❤️

Red Fox: Peace Love and Light, This is the color im trying to achieve. Thank you so much for sharing. I just used HiColor L'Oreal for the second time and it still didn't come out the way i wanted which is the color of your hair. It's beautiful. How long should i wait to try again?

Tyequiece Beautytutorials: Hi girl"!! love your hair love I'm color sick over here so I think I'm going back to blue lol!!!

Raul Sanchez: Looks good. My friend mixes it with conditioner then applies.

Nature Cookie: I love the shade! You look beautiful.

kittenhoodie: New subbie. You are absolutely gorgeous. Love the hair color!

Naturally Tish: It actually showed up on my dark hair without lightening it, surprisingly. And I didn’t have to go into the sun in order to see it.

Taylor Allen: I love this hair color but with my hair type/color I have to bleach my hair.. and last time I did that my hair was damaged so bad it turned out PINK

CJSpeaks: I usually do semi permanent colors because i actually like the tint of color i get in the sun or under any light lol. I've always used the jazzing by clairol and really like it. Its a demi permanent which is said to last longer than semi and it actually gives my hair a nice reddish brown tint overall not just in the sun. I have been curious to try manic panic though and after seeing your video i might have to. Nice results. Btw i never tried adore color either. Maybe ill give that a go too.

Alana Hamilton: how long does semi permanent dye last before a touch up? and is it okay to lighten and dye in the same day? or wait a while and then color red?

Jamie Santa Cruz: Girl you are stunning & that color is fierce on you!!

Mariela Medina: Before I had my hair red, I had my hair blonde and brown, but now since my hair is red but faded, but when I did my hair red I mixed the hair red dye with the developer .now since it faded the manic panic cream will make it more red

Patty Giron: looking amazing!

Mya Comfort: This is not ameant to be negative Just to add to a comment you made, you can use the manic panic dye without bleaching or lightening your hair. My hair is dark brown almost black and normally will not hold color without lightening (Especially blue) but I have no problem with manic panic at all. I mix pillar box red with vampire red it looks awesome. It might not work for everyone, but this is the best way for me to dye my hair without bleaching.

Silent Girl: My hair is natural brown it's dark but I never bleach it when I use manic and it shows up really well ._.

Juni Garcia: thank you very helpful should of seen ur video from the beginning love how ur hair came out

Akela C: how often do you dye your hair and do you feel your hair getting dryer with each use of dye/rinse ?

JennasHoover: Do you have a problem with the dye running after usage? I've used this dye three times now and I really like it, but I find that the color doesn't last long and runs no matter the temp of the water (I use super cold). Do you have any useful tips?

Crentha Brannon: I just bought this color trying this weekend

V H: I absolutely adore this color on you! Also did you wash your hair before applying the color? & did you have hair products in your hair whilst applying the color? I also have curly hair & my ends are bleached. & I have no idea how to dye my ends (,:
