Hello, how are you hair bestie? I'M super excited to launch strip tea, so it's a new product that removes direct dyes and, as you can see here, my client cheryl. She has the super power direct eye. It'S been two weeks the color's been in it for a while. She just wants to kind of remove the ends to change the color, to make it brighter we're wanting to put in pink possession, because it has a lot of lilac purpley tones here on the ends, which is fine. Most of the time, i suggest waiting for the color to kind of fade off to pastel before trying to attempt to remove it. So this is a you know: big uh. You know situation that we're tackling here so because the color is still fresh. So i want to show you what's going to do, i'm just going to raise her right on up here and we're going to make a huge attempt here to remove this color now this will vary depending on the client. I always suggest waiting till the color fully pastelized, so let's go ahead and apply the striptease. So the striptease is a powder that you mix one two: three ratio with the dedicate the guy tank dedicated developer 10 20 30 volume, six volume, even depending on the hairs porosity. You can also add the guy 10 collagen powder. In so with her formula. I did striptease with 20 volume developer and i also added a full scoop of the guy tang, my daddy, my hero, collagen powder x. So let's go ahead and apply it on and you can see it has a great consistency because it spreads very, very well. My goal is just to remove as much of it as possible on the ends. I want to leave her base up here on the top, where you see a lot of her purple, because if i could just remove the ends, i could replace it with more pink possession, so she gets the brighter more of the watermelon type of pink look versus This lilacy tone: now you will discover when it's pastelized. It comes right out of the hair, really really quick, but you can process it up from anywhere to 20 to 30 minutes and just like so keep in mind. The collagen powder really saves the integrity of the hair too. If you use it so you can see. This is all i do. The consistency really helps saturate all the way through i'm just going to apply only on her ends and because i only want the tips to be lighter, i'm just going to massage it. Just like this, the warmth of your hand will help remove it. Now, primarily, i love applying it on damp hair. So you could do this at the shampoo bowl too, because on damp hair it creates a buffer. So if you're dealing with very compromised hair, damp hair is definitely ideal. So take a look here. You can see the color kind of coming out if you look very very closely a lot of that. Purple tone is starting to gray out it's going away. Now. Every shade is different. When working with pinker shades, they come out with working purpley shades. Sometimes, if the color is very, very pigmented like hers, it's going to take a few minutes, so be patient with it. I'M just going to move on to the next section over here and then we're going to let her sit open air and you can also incubate. If you need to and now we'll let it process for anywhere from 20-30 minutes and we'll be back i'll check back again in 10 minutes and see, i got good news for you, so it's only been 20 minutes in and take a look it lifted. All of that color out now it went through an interesting little face. It went through like a green color phase and then like after 10 minutes. What i did was like, let it continue processing and then i used the heat lamps on her, because her hair was still strong i'll. Let her sit under the heat lamps for about another five minutes and boom. It came right out now. Not every hair will be like this, because some is more resistant and it might not come out all the way you have to work with it, because purple colors tends to want to go green due to the blue mixing with the gold underlying pigment. That'S in the hair, so that's why it's best to wait until it's fully faded as much as possible, which is remnants of it left behind. But this is amazing. I'Ve never used a direct dye, color remover. That is as potent that's done. What this has done - and i can't wait for you guys to try striptease i'm going to shampoo her rinser out and we're going to go, come back and blow dry. Her and i'll show you what it looks like and i'm super excited to put the next color on you are gon na. Be so excited. Trust me, the striptease is amazing, as you can see here, i blow dry her hair. This gives me a fresh start of it striptease. Is it even a tease? Really i mean like it completely stripped. It'S like she's naked right now, there's nothing! Everything is all open. So now this gives me gives us a chance to do so. Many things. So if i want to put coral or maybe do a different color melt, i can so i could have moved this all the way up. If i wanted to so there's so many options i could do with this. I want to show you guys like before, after pretty amazing, so i'm going to give her some pink tips, i'm going to put pink possession with crimson spell on the bottom. I already mixed it up, but i just want to show you what you can do with the striptease so now this is a clean canvas for us to do anything. I hope you love it thumbs up subscribe. H Imada: Love this product! I used the Striptease with his collagen powder and an olaplex 1 with foils to remove permanent blue dye. It did really well removing the dye as well as kept the integrity of the hair structure. Does not bleach the natural color of the hair(I have dark brown Asian hair) so please be aware of that. It’s just for removing dye.

Nephthys: You saved my hair just through your videos. I am not a colourist or stylist at all but thought I would be from the time I was 8. Oh well. So I do mine at home with salon products. My hair is thick black and coarse. I got it to a level 9-10 with absolutely no damage because I did it over a few weeks. I decided to go to the salon to tone and have the colour out on because it was a friend. She damaged my hair on purpose and I ended up needing a shaved pixie from having it a little shorter than the lady in this video. What a nightmare. Thankfully in less than a year, it was at my shoulders and now past them. My hair has never grown so fast. Anyway, I wanted to say thank you. I wish I could skip the cutting and all that and just be a colourist.

I had this really cute purple hair only on my roots like a Billie Eilish kinda thing going on and I wanted the rest of my hair at the ends to be the same purple... her first attempt she tried to put highlighter on the ends of my hair cause she didn’t want to bleach my hair even though the ends do my hair where virgin and my hair isn’t the right color for that as is. the top has been bleached numerous of times in the past that’s why I wanted to change my ends purple is cause if I continue bleaching the top part of my hair I can literally break or lose hair. So when she put the highlight in my hair it literally made my hair just slightly lighter than it’s natural color. She proceeded to put the purple all over and has me leave it in over night. The next morning comes and the top of my hair looks fine but the bottom is like this pink ish color. (Which is not what I asked for) I tell her that I want to have it the same as the top. She says ok. I go in again and she try’s and tells me that we should deposit the whole hair and make it to one color. I tell her no and she should just put a darker purple on top of the bottom so it can even put cause the first round didn’t do so well and didn’t stay in. but she proceeded to do what she wanted. It ended up being this disgusting teal brown color, and she didnt even say sorry all she said was she was gonna just dye my hair black no trying to fix it no trying to get it how I wanted no just black. I should have learned my lesson in the past cause she never let me get bangs cause she told me that my forehead was to big for bangs. Thank god I’m doing hair school cause she’s never gonna touch my hair ever again after what she did to my purple hair.

LulyTubee: Hhhhmm..I have questions. Dose this removes direct dye from salt and pepper hair WITH OUT lightening the natural hair? Meaning, i did not pre lighten my hair before the direct dye..I fully transition my hair to its natural state, salt & pepper (about 30% white the rest is black) but I got bored ♀️ so I dyed it (semi permanent) a deep dark blue. Tbh it was cute .Due to my grey and black hair the blue had dimension / high lights. However now it has faded into a green. Not cute, not on me. So my goal it to go back (as close as I can ) to my natural hair. Can I achieve this with Stiptease? I'm no professional here but I have tried fading it out with Dawn dish soap, Head&Shoulder, vitamin C (not all at the same time) so I think I have strip the color out as much as I could with these methods . I have not tried a bleach bath or anything with bleach because I'm afraid it would lighten my black hair and turn it into a brown, not what I'm looking for. Dose any one know?
