Thanks for being Part Of The FSE FAMILY!

Welcome to the video guys so today, what we're gon na be working on is our model Amanda's hair and if you check out the before and really keep that in your mind until the end today we're into a transformation we're gon na lighten her. So I'm gon na do a base lightening and she's really sitting at about a level seven. So I chose joy Co. Blonde life gives you nine plus levels of lift. We don't need that because she's already at a level seven, so I'm using 20 volume keep things. Gentle, obviously, if you looked at her ends previously they're in pretty bad shape, so I don't want to get too much of that. Lightner touching the ends during this technique, but I do want to develop an even canvas throughout her head, so I'm gon na start working on the base, painting that Lightner right on the scalp, it's a on and off the scalp Lightner. I also mix it to be a little bit wetter of a consistency first off, because, if Lightner dries up, it doesn't give you as much lift second, because we're going right on the scalp and we're lifting her. I want to make sure that that saturates, all of the hair, so that we get that consistent, lift in the consistent base. So I just worked my way through her entire head, really painting on the root area right down to almost the mid shaft, because she has a ton of growth. So I know we've all been in this situation as hairdressers, where you know you have a client that doesn't come back in that often so Amanda is definitely that person in this case. So this is the first time I've done her hair, but now we'll try to keep her on a more consistent basis, which in turn will keep her hair healthier. I'M always telling my guests, you know you got ta, make sure you stay consistent, stay on that four-week! Regimen, because if you don't you, let it go too long, you got to do way more processing every three months than you would, if you just do every month and you're, just touching up a tiny little bit of root, so you're keeping the hair, nice and healthy. So another thing, you'll, probably notice, is that I started in the front of her head first in the top of her head. That'S what everybody sees so I want to make sure I get that nice and light and consistent first and get that going and then I started working my way into the back now with Amanda's hair. It'S pretty typical, but she didn't have any highlights underneath so that could have been a budget thing or whatever, but she never really got that highlighted. So I wanted to go through and enlighten that as well. That'S all virgin hair, so it lifts pretty fast. The other thing I noticed, as I started to really work into her hair, was that it was very inconsistent with where the Lightning's was so the previous lightening was so I had to pull the lightener a little further through than I wanted to, but um I did That towards the end, so that I wouldn't have to worry about any damaging. I definitely think that this goes to show for the joy Co. Lightner, though you saw a man to Sara at the very beginning and the way that it looks in the after is just unbelievable, so we processed the lightener for 30 minutes and then you could see how beautiful and bright and consistent it got. I didn't want to put olaplex in it, even though I would in the salon, probably because I wanted to showcase what the lightener could do so now. We'Re gon na have some fun. This is the new joy colu machine, dimensional, deposit, hair color. So I love this. It'S a level 8 silver blue. So I'm really excited to put this in her hair cuz. She wanted that gray kind of feeling to her hair. So I wanted to do a deeper level, eight base to kind of give a shadow root, and then I'm gon na go in with the 9nv with a little bit of 10 in like a dash of ten in in there. Both of these formulas are with five volume and I'm doing it on completely dry hair. So those are key things to know as we go into this. So what all I'm gon na do really with this technique is paint the root area with the 8 SB, which is the silver blue and then I'm gon na go color melt the 9nv with a splash of 10 in I'm gon na pull that through mid-shaft and Ends so right now this is the 8 SB I'm gon na paint that through I still love, I can't even believe with the 20 volume how bright she got. I'M really excited to color her hair again in the future, because she lifted so easily. That was one process through that. So one of the interesting things is joy. Co. You know they sent me these products to try out and to put on a video so and then I get to create content based on the products and then share it with you. Guys for free right so, but one of the interesting things is it kind of worked out for Amanda because we use the blonde life Lightner which lifted her up. But then this DD or the new lumishine series dimensional deposit, it's all about repairing the hair. So it adds shine to the hair, it helps rebuild, reduce breakage it nourishes and protects and seals in moisture. So there's so many different benefits to the lumishine DD series that it's it's a great thing that we're using this on Amanda right now and I think, when I look at the end result and what happened with her hair. That'S exactly what happened it. We overlaid it with this product and it made the hair feel really great. So I'm going through one thing definitely notice is that I take that deeper base. The level 8 SB and I'll put that through from pretty much the occipital bone down, because I wanted to put some depth in her hair and naturally, when you think about sunlight, hitting the hair and all of that when we we look at this from a natural Standpoint, the deeper tone would be underneath, so I wanted to make sure I'm you know not that I'm making this look natural because we're making it gray, but the fact is, I want it to have a natural flow to it in the end result. So now I'm pulling the the NV through. So one thing that I'll do is I I work the NV all the way from mid-shaft to ends and then I'll take a little bit of the 8 s B and I'll paint it again over the root and just kind of rub the two colors together and That helps me mix them and kind of melt. Everything or you can call it a color melt together to get a nice blend in the end result. So last little bit here this is the 9nv but then, like I said, I'm gon na go through and I'm gon na pull that level. 8 SB through the bottom, all this little bottom section and I'm definitely more or gay, with my color placement than I am with my hair, cutting hair cutting I'm definitely more precise. With color I like to just kind of paint it as it lives very organically. So we'll work that through twist it up and paint it up. So that's the last bit of this. So what we're gon na do is process that for the next 30 minutes and then get to show you guys the end result so we're gon na use the joy Co power whip. This is a whipped foam. It'S got a really strong hold, so I like it for not only adding tradition and shine, but a nice hold as I'm doing my iron work and anything like that. So I go through with my paddle brush and then get it smoothed out. You can see the end result beautiful beautiful blonde. I love the 8's, be kind of dark and shade at the root and then how crisp and clean that 10n, with the are the 9nv with the 10n, looks through the ends. So I hope you guys like this. Let me know if you have any questions hit me up on social media. Now, we're gon na add a little texture have a little fun with it. This is the joy koh beach shake. They also sent me this product. This has actually become one of the favorites in our salon for creating texture. It'S a really cool texture spray, so you can see that haircut come to life and I do have the haircut filmed as well, so that will be coming out on a later video. So be on the lookout for that. Thank you guys so much for watching hope. You enjoyed the video thanks.

You did a fantastic job with the application and also in your explanation as to what you were doing with each step! I'm also a stylist and I've always had a love for doing color. Tisa6: love this... cannot believe how healthy her hair looked after.... I'm a brunette with dk br color and #'s attempts to take me there has left my very long hair a mess! It's always in a bun and now contemplating cutting it off. I'm 55 with the grays really coming in so that was my thought process of going with the beautify grays but thinking a buzz cut and start from scratch if I want it

christine maddy: Nice! Of course, without doing the all makeup hair, her hair looks dry and terrible, but now fantastic! Thanks to ur amazing work! Thanks for sharing.. It’s beautiful

Tessa Lacey: well done! Great choice of shades for her skin tone! Cool colors just seem to look nicer on us ladies with so much pink/red undertones in our skin.

Kristen Miller: I love Joico! That color combo is perfection! So smoky!

Eden S: This is amazing!! Wow thank you thank you for uploading this video

Julie Froese: Hi! Love the cut colour and these products! These products look great! I was just looking for the best new products to try for my professional services. I do add Olaplex to my lightener and I totally understand why you didn’t in this video, I really think I would love to try this lightener. Also the toners sound great! I love the idea of reconditioning the hair while repigmenting it! ☺️ I also love how you ‘melt’ the colours together! Beautiful! Question: which colour(s) in the line would you use on pre lightened hair; to do a still cool and bright level 10/9, but more beige or sandy blonde, with a level 7/6 ashey but not grey, smudge root? Thanks in advance! ☺️ And... Thanks for a great video!

Amanda Hudson: Her hair is only severely damaged at the ends. Too many scraggly layers. He did a fantastic job on smoothing out that mess. The color is amazing. Excellent job! I'd hire this guy in a heartbeat!

Janet8925: Really pretty! I just didn't like the top middle of her head. It was a little to dark in that area for me. But No Doubt its Amazing color. Kind of like what I did to Mine. Love the s ilver with a little lavender! I will follow this color. Add it to my list! Thanks

Joan Gentile: Absolutely beautiful!!

Jenna Fox: wow absolutely gorgeous thank you so much for this video

Jetta R.: I love your voice ! You have such a great talent! I wish I was one of your videos model and client ! Her hair looks amazing! She doesn’t look happy even though you did a miracle with her ... now looks nice, stylish and healthy.

Melussa Myldoon: Absolutely beautiful! We all work differently

Ursula rodrigue: Ficou lindo

Jess Pony: Good job as always !

Teresa Baxter: Loved the transformation.

Regirl75: I just started using that lightener! LOVE IT and so do my clients!

Diane Hardesty: I Absolutely Love this!!!♥️♥️

Claudette Bentley: I would love to see a video on how you would touch up this look when the client comes back in a month or three months. I do my own bleach and color at home. I bleach to the same lightness and add a shadow root. I only use semi-permanent colors so it all washes out by the time I will bleach again. I am too scared to use permanent b/c I have no idea how to lighten the shadow root that grows out and to match the lightness level of the mid to ends that are light. :-( Seems like a lot of work I could screw up on.

Caroline🦄: Absolutely stunning! Exactly what I want.

Hal: I love it! Thanks for posting.

Marisa Brocco: Wow!!! Looks great

CallMeCourt: This looks awesome!!

Twisted Artdesigns: Wow! Gorgeous color! Wish you could do my hair!

Sarah Dennerley: I did this last night and it looks beautiful. The colour on the roots is lush. The blonde on the ends is a little dull for me though. Next time is there a way I can keep white bright blonde on ends instead of a grey? How would I blend it also! Thank you

M Bell: SUPER JOB...im so glad I've watched this....im going to look at it again....im trying to step in to more coloring,, i always enjoy your cutting video, but man off the charts.... thanks

Judilyn Fitz: Wow!! You made her damage hair looks healthy, amazing

Joanne Baik: Gorgeous colors!!!

Jayvee24ph vlogs: Wow looks awesome. How i wish i could use wonderful products like this one.

Patricia García Hernández: Felicidades te quedó hermoso

Illness: I'm currently in school for cosmetology and one of the things they teach us is that if someone comes in with more than like 1/2" of regrowth you have to apply it away from the scalp first and then go back and apply it there. I've seen a few videos now where you just go in and paint it all at the same time, and get even lift. I want to know what makes that technique work for you? I even showed one of your videos to my teacher and she was like, how, is it the bleach?

Ralynn T. Rowe: Love the color!

Cessi12: I love this color

Jessica R: Great color! Question, how do you know what shade of blonde would look best on various skin tones?

Stacy: Looks awesome !!

Lynnie501: Beautiful!

Isabella C: WoW, her hair color looks awesome!

Wendy Myers: Yes looks spectacular!

Hairloss Solutions: Amazing job!!!

Enoeth Ylnodna: Beautiful! Thank u for sharing!

LETICIA MORENO: OMG you are so good. I wish you can do my hair ❤️❤️❤️

GamblinTD: I heard the stylist say it would be better to come back every 4 weeks to help keep the hair healthy. Unfortunately, that is costly. My stylist would still charge the same price as partial highlight, which is at least $100. That’s way too much money every 4 weeks. I do love that color though!

Jan Freeman: Gorgeous!!

Debi Freeman: I love the color!!

O L: That is so pretty!!!!

Jayde lee: Use a sticky pad on your trolly to keep your colour bowl stable x

Molly Malchert: Could you please be specific about what you used and how much? I love this color. Thank you.

Seda Çakır: So perfect hair...

Car La: I love it now I need all those products in Germany

Sharalee Insley: Love it!!!

Rita Showalter: That color is out of this world!

Shari Magby: That is amazing!

Shirley Robles: For the root touch up, does she need to bleach the re growth and add the shadow colors to the root area again?

Sweet S: That’s GORGEOUS!

fly fishing: She was a real trooper You yanked her hair constantly..Color beautiful

shockawha9: Love silver hair!

Miriam dos Santos: Very beautiful !!!

Martha: WOW so beautiful!!

Kim Lam: Looks great!

Lynnie Neal: She's definitely beautiful! You did great!

Sarah Brigida: Idk why this doesn’t have more likes. Great color

summer43211: I LOVE LOVE LOVE that color!

Anna Wolden: That was a “quick’ view of the back...looked uneven in the color. Would like a chance to really look at the work in the “round” to better understand your placement and process of the color and how the end result looked in its entirety. Thank you for the tutorial and I am intrigued with the color line.

Jane Smith: Love the end result!

Jayde lee: Love the colour !!! Fab x

Kathryn Garo: It seems to me the hair is so delicate after processing with lightener, rubbing it up and down probably damages it

Wayne Armour: Love your work ☺️

KuraQueen: Gorgeous!!!!

Paola Diaz: Wow fantastic work!!

JUANPABLOMELODY: Just amazing

marie1896: What happens to the dark roots when you bleach again?

ST MARK: Are we not going to talk about how COOL that haircut is and the FINISHED look? Where is the HAIRCUT video for this??
