Hey guys, it's Jen, I welcome back to my channel today. I'M gon na be showing you guys how to lighten or remove color from your hair. So if you guys are interested just stay tuned and if you're not already subscribed to my channel, be sure to do that right now. So first of all, you're gon na need some bleach. I'M using Claro bw2 bleach and I'm gon na be using 30 volume developer. As far as making the bleach, I don't measure out how much I'm gon na use. I just you know I it and see how much I think I'm gon na need by the length of my hair, so, depending on how long your hair is you're gon na need to use more or less than I am. If you do want a video with exact measurements, I have a full hair bleaching tutorial where I did use exact measurements, but other than that. As long as your consistency is creamy and big, it really doesn't matter so now. I'M gon na use this shampoo to make. What'S called a bleach bath, which is where you mix equal parts, shampoo and bleach to basically help remove the color from your hair, because a hair colorist once told me that sometimes, if you put bleach in your hair, it can work the color more into your hair. But so by doing this, it just helps. Take the color out, I didn't add equal parts, because I just don't like bleach in my hair and it's like super watery, so I just added shampoo to it like just to add it. But if you want to do a bleach bath, you would add equal parts, I'm also using the comb end of this brush that I'm using to comb through the hair and make sure that the bleach gets all the way to my roots. You want to be careful when you're doing this, because, if you're too rough on your hair with bleach in your hair, it can make your hair fall out or mess up your curl pattern. So if you do this, just be careful okay! So now, as you see, the blue in my hair is way lighter. It'S like a frosty icy, blue color. If I wasn't trying to do the next color that I ended up doing, I would leave it like this, but if you just want to lighten the color of your hair, you would watch the bleeds out the bleach out right now. It'S been in my hair about ten minutes. It'S only been in my hair, the whole time I've been applying the bleach. So when you're lightening the color, you leave it in for less time. Then then you would, if you're taking the color completely out so, like I said, if I wanted it light blue, I would take it out right now. Now, I'm just gon na cover my hair with a plastic cap and let this sit in my hair. For about thirty minutes, so this is what it looks like after letting it sit for about a half an hour and then once I wash it out, it's like this yellowish dark blond, color. Normally, if I'm gon na be blonde, I would bleach it again because I don't like it this yellow. But since I was dyeing my hair, another color, it didn't really matter so yeah. This is all that you have to do. I ended up dying, my hair, a minty green color after this, so if you guys want a tutorial for that I'll have the included in this video. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you have any questions, just comment them below and I'll see you guys in my next video bye,

Journals Of Dami: I really want to go a dye journey and try new colours but how long should I wait inbetween bleaching? I'm a baldie so I know I can cut it off but I don't want to accidently over-bleach and hurt myself any advice? :)

toi jones: Happy New Year! I ALWAYS have problems with brassiness. No matter the tone I use and the length of time I leave it in. I get so frustrated. The steps that I do are... I mix the bleach and developer, apply it to my hair and cover my hair and leave it for 40 minutes including the time it takes to apply it ( my hair is faded). Rinse, wash and apply toner. Leave in for 10 minutes and wash.
