Dyeing My Hair Using My Own New Hair Dye Brand?!

Hey everyone, it's sophie hannah here and welcome back to my channel. I honestly can't believe that i'm about to say this, but i'm gon na be dyeing my hair with my own branded semi-permanent hair dye. What how are we even here right now? This is something that i've been wanting to do for so long, and i've actually been working on it for the last 18 months to two years trying to get the formula just right, and it's here, i'm holding my own sophie hannah hair branded hair dye. I honestly can't believe it. I cannot quite believe it, but we are here and we have three amazing shades and i'm gon na be dyeing my hair with every single one, because why not i've dyed my hair so many times and not been able to show the bottle the product like what I'Ve been using and yeah i'm here, i'm finally dying my hair, and i can show you what i have been using all those times. I'Ve dyed my hair. It'S been sophie hannah hair dye. It'S honestly! It'S just mad! It'S just mad! If you guys missed my announcement. So much content is coming out for this brand. I'Ve launched three shades and, to start with, don't you worry guys, there's many many more colors coming soon, but to start with, i've launched these shades, so we've got bubble, gum, pink, we've got purple haze and we've got peach punch. I actually just can't believe that i've just shared like the product and the brand name, like honestly guys, i can't say how weird this feels to be filming this video right now. I really really hope you guys love this product. I hope you love seeing me dye. My hair with my own formula: ah i've worked so hard on this formula, guys it's not just a semi-permanent hair dye, i've injected ingredients into the formula so that it's kind of like a two-in-one, hair, color and mask back. When i started this brand. There was no products on the market that actually cared for your hair or benefited your hair whilst dyeing it. So i kind of had this idea and concept that i wanted my hair dye to actually benefit the hair so yeah. Not only does it color it and give you confidence, it's going to benefit your hair as well, so yeah. Let me just quickly actually: do you know what i'm going to explain it to you guys whilst i dye my hair, because that's going to be the easiest thing and then we can speed up this video because i know you guys want to see the colors and I know you guys want to see me applying it so, let's get applying before i do that, i'm going to show you my die kit. So not only have i got the three shades that i've launched with i've also launched with a die kit. So i've done this to make it super easy for you guys to apply the color at home, for you guys to diy it. So we've got a brush and we've got a bowl, and that is the die kit. So this is what you're going to get when you order it. It'S got a little handle um and the brush is amazing. So it's super super like flexible um, but it's also kind of stiff. So it's going to give you a really nice, even easy application obsessed and also how freaking cute is the color and the bristles absolutely love it so yeah you can buy this die kit together as the bowl and the brush and yeah. It'S just going to help. You guys dye your hair. It'S got rubber ring around the bottom, so it's really stable on, like the table, wherever you're going to be dying, your hair and yeah. It'S got like a little rim here, so you can like scrape off any excess dye. It'S amazing guys and even better, it's sustainable so guys this is a bio plastic alternative to all of those plastic tinting tools out on the market, so this is actually derived from natural straw and it is super super sustainable. So let's get dyeing my hair. Let'S get going guys so i'm gon na be applying every color today, so we're gon na do a kind of purple to pink to peach. Ombre i've not actually done anything like this before um, so yeah. Let'S get applying my sophie hannah hair hair dye gloves are on gon na, be starting with purple haze at the roots. Now one thing about this die that i hope you guys are going to love is the scent. It smells unreal and i wanted to do that because some other hair dyes on the market - just really don't smell that great. So this one's going to smell amazing, it's going to leave your hair smelling amazing, and also i found that using after using it, my bathroom then smells like it as well. For a few days after us, it's actually really really nice, so yeah. So, okay, we've got purple haze in the bowl. Let'S get applying guys, okay, guys i've sectioned, my hair, i'm gon na do the back first and then i will chat to you when i get towards the front, because you're not even gon na, be able to see the back to be honest um because of how I'M gon na be sitting so yeah i'll, be back in a sec. Okay, guys we are going in at the front of my hair now so exciting. So one of the key ingredients is vitamin b5 and basically that provides um. Long lasting moisture to the hair prevents damage and also adds a natural like luster and sheen to the hair. So that's one um key ingredient that i've added to just add benefits to the hair so guys, as you can see, i'm literally just adding the purple haze to kind of where my old roots were before um. If you guys missed me, getting my hair bleached recently see i'm just kind of adding it to this top section. First, the formula is super creamy, so a little goes a long way, so don't pour it all out of the bottle at first. Just do it little by little um, the bottles have a lot of dye in, so you should get one to two uses out of the bottle, depending on the length of your hair. Also, the end of the brush is really really good for sectioning. So it's super super sharp, so you can make sure you're getting every little section of your hair colored. Okay, so this side is done also, i don't know whether any of you guys have noticed, but i have not had any dye splash off my brush, and that is because i've made the viscosity of the formula like quite gel, like it's quite yeah. It'S like gel cream like so it's not going to be splashing off of your brush and going up the walls or going all over your bathroom floor. I'Ve thought about that as well guys. I'Ve literally thought about every single element of the dyes. I'Ve tried, from my years of experience of dyeing my hair to make the perfect hair dye for you guys from all of the things that i love and hate about so many other dyes out in the market. I'Ve tried to kind of merge it all into one and make the perfect product. So i really hope you guys love it um, okay, so that's that side done. I'M gon na go and do the other side now and then i'll be back, and we can chat a little bit more about what other ingredients are in the formula that are amazing for your hair, okay, guys so purple haze is on smells so good. Okay. So now i'm gon na go in with bubblegum pink, but before i do that, let's wash the bowl okay guys bubble gum pink, i'm literally obsessed with this pink shade. It is so so beaut, let's get it on so guys. Another ingredient in the hair dye is coconut oil and basically, i think a lot of you probably know about coconut oil already, but it's just got really like nourishing protective benefits for the hair. So we've popped that into the formula. Oh, my god guys. This is gon na look so so good, so i'm just applying the bubble, gum pink kind of across this section here and then i'll blend it up into the purple haze and then we'll add the peach punch on the tips. This is going to look so beaut but yeah. I love love, love this shade of pink okay. So oh i've applied the pink on this side. Whenever i do ombre, i always find it so difficult, but it's gon na look good. I know it. Okay, so just trying to kind of blend purple haze into bubblegum, pink, now, just kind of overlapping it a little bit and then just using my hands and like rubbing in between each section and it's a little bit messy. But it's fine because we kind of want it to like blend down um quite evenly anyway, and we want it to kind of merge into one another. So i feel like that looks good, okay onto the other side now and another ingredient in the formula. That'S really beneficial to your hair is rice protein, so this is going to add um moisture again, it's going to add strength and it's going to repair any surface damage that you might have on your hair. Also guys, when you are applying a dye, you really don't need that much on your brush a little goes a long way. Um, it's just the kind of viscosity of the formula being sort of gel like it really really doesn't need you don't really need to slap. It on just a little goes a long way, trust me okay, guys and then the final ingredient is hydrolyzed quinoa, which is basically a superfood derived ingredient, and it's gon na help preserve your color. So it's gon na help keep your color and hold your color in a lot longer, because that's something that i've always um hated about some dyes is that you wash your hair and, like it fades like within one wash. I'Ve literally tried and tested this, and i have got some tips on how to care for your hair in terms of like washing it and stuff, which i will do at the end of the video um but yeah. The hydrolyzed quinoa ingredient in the dye is gon na preserve your color, and it's just gon na provide color retention, so yeah an amazing ingredient to have um, so your color is going to last longer because yeah, i just hate it when you wash your hair and It fades after one wash, so that's something that i've also kind of thought about. With the semi-permanent dye right, i feel like we're nearly there with bubblegum pink now, just doing a few little touch-ups, okay, guys in with the final color peach punch, we're gon na pop. It on the tips and, oh so excited to see what it comes out like okay, so peach punch is going on. So obviously, as you can see, peach punch is very, very pastel, so you're gon na want very, very light hair to be able to apply it, and so all of these dies are for any hair type. Texture, gender, ethnicity, like it's super inclusive, i want anyone to be able to use my dies, um, obviously, with this particular range and launch and these particular shades. They are for pre-lightened, bleached or very, very light blonde hair um, but don't worry guys. I'Ve got it covered because soon i will be launching ones for more kind of browns and kind of darker brown hair, so yeah watch this space. I'Ve got more coming, but just this range to start with is for pre-lightened bleached or light blonde hair. Obviously, my hair is very light um and it's pretty bleached. So that's why i'm going to get a great pigment from this, but obviously the color and how it comes out totally depends on your base color. So how clean your base color is. How porous your hair is if you've got any like, maybe some brassy tones so yeah the color will come out depending on what your base color is um. So never panic if it's not quite come out right, because you do need a really nice clean base. Um for semi-permanent colors - but i mean most of you guys know this anyway um but yeah. Oh my god, i'm so excited to see how this comes out, because i've not actually ombrayed these three colors before i've done the bubblegum pink into peach punch before. But i've not done all three, so this is very exciting so guys the dye is on soapy hannah hair hair dye is on obsessed. It looks amazing. I cannot wait to wash it out and style my hair and show you guys the finished look, but before i do that, just want to say i'm going to leave it on for 20 minutes. Obviously, the um purple haze has been on a little bit longer, but basically minimum 20 minutes is recommended for the semi-permanent hair dye. However, you can leave it on for a bit longer if you want to make it a bit more vibrant, but yeah recommendation is a minimum of 20 minutes um. So yeah i'm going to leave it on for 20 minutes now and then i will wash it out. Big big tip here, guys wash it out with cool water like if you can do cold water, cold water, but try and wash out like really really cool cold water. You don't need any shampoo, don't like add shampoo or conditioner or anything like you. Don'T need anything because of the added benefits into the formula um, honestly guys, your hair is going to feel silky and smooth afterwards, then blow dry style and you're good to go and i'll be back soon to show you the finished look and then i will chat To you a little bit about the bottles, because i want to tell you about how sustainable they are, because it's a really really key feature. I can't tell you when i don't have coloured hair. I just don't feel myself. It gives me confidence, i feel empowered. Oh, i just just love it. What do we think? I'M literally obsessing over this gradient from the purple haze to the bubble, gum pink to the peach punch like it's blended, so beautifully. I'M honestly obsessed, it looks so good. Wow, so nice and as you can see, my hair is shiny, so so soft now i did not use any product on my hair after i rinsed off the dye, so yeah didn't use anything all i did was dice and air up to my hair and use Some straighteners on my curtain bangs, and that was it i mean i was bad. I didn't even use heat protecting spray, but it's because i wanted to show you the full effect of what this product does to your hair, um, so yeah. Next time i will be using heat protectant spray, but this time round i just wanted to show you guys, like literally i've, not put anything on my hair afterwards, and this is what it looks like. As i said, it's like a two-in-one, hair dye and mask and my hair smells unreal and it looks unreal just looks so nice. I love it guys. So before i love you and leave you guys, i actually want to talk to you about the packaging which i actually think is really really important. It'S convenient it's economical and it is eco-friendly, so i've tried to make really have tried to make this brand as sustainable as possible. It'S something i care about, and i'm really trying to make changes in my lifestyle, and i know it's something that you guys care about. As well so i've really really tried my hardest with sophie hannah hair to make it as eco-friendly as i can and that's down to the formula, the packaging, the mailing boxes, the products like everything, so, okay, so basically, first off the size of this bottle is 250 Milliliters so you're gon na get multiple uses out of this. Now i've only used the peach punch on my ends and i'm not being funny there's pretty much a full bottle left in that um, the bubblegum pink i'd say. There'S probably i can see it's kind of here, that's how much i used for the mid band and then going on to purple haze, it's about up to yeah it's about up to here. So i've probably used about a third of that you can kind of see where i've used it because the bottles aren't completely um opaque. So that's because they're easy to squeeze they're, really really easy to squeeze so you're going to get all of that product. Out of this bottle we're not going to waste any formula guys, i don't want to waste anything. I don't know how you to be cutting the bottle. Open, really really easy to get the product out of the formula out of the product and then the final thing. That'S amazing about this packaging is that the bottle is actually biodegradable. So basically, it's a little bit complex and there's more information on sophie hannah hair.com. The bottle has been developed with an oxo biodegradable technology which basically accelerates the plastic degradation without harming the environment or compromising on the functionality of the bottle, so kind of amazing that we've managed to find this sort of packaging, but yeah there's more information on my website.
