Hey you guys welcome welcome back to my channel, it's bria simone here and today we're going to be doing a natural silk press on my sister's hair. But before we do that, she's going to hop in the shower real, quick, wash her hair and then afterwards will be deep conditioning so she's, deep conditioning, her hair and i see her under the dryer um. I will list the product down below because i honestly forgot. We use a different deep conditioner than we normally use, so it will definitely be in the description box. So right now, i'm about to section off her hair before i start blow drying and on that section, i'll split it up into two and i'll start to detangle. But before i do that i will apply chi heat protectant and i do it with each section. Throughout the hair - and i also apply some more heat protectant before i straighten it but um. Yes, i split into two sections detangle and i will add some more water if her hair too dry, because our hair was um dry, dried up day. How many times are going to say dry but yeah make sure you thoroughly detangle your hair before you blow dry, the setting of the blow dryer is going to be on high and at first i started off on high with the temperature. But then i ended up going back to warm because it just got way too hot, i'm using a different blow dryer and i didn't expect it to get that hot. So i switched back to warm and right now, as you can see, i'm blow drying from the bottom and going up to the roots, just like you will detangle and make sure that you get those roots. Okay, you do not want them to be damp before you straighten the hair, so foreign is 2 hi. My name is so two bye. Now we're going to begin to straighten her hair and the temperature setting is going to be on 419, the highest on this flat. Iron is 455 and i'm going to be using the chase method and only doing one pass make sure you're doing only one pass. You do not need to keep going over the hair over and over. You guys will see some flakes some white flakes in her hair. She did have damage, i'm not damaged. She did have dandruff so um, but later on it does kind of go away. But like really the day after you don't see it anymore at all, i did oil, her scalp as well, so um yeah, the flakes are gone, but i'm sorry about that. Oh so i made that face because my camera kept shutting off on my phone, because i do use my phone to record. Like me and storage, we just been button heads okay, we just cannot get along, so i kept running out of storage and it kept shutting off. So i apologize. If you wanted to see more of me, straining her hair um. I wanted to get more footage in, but i mean i don't know bye much all right.
