How to set up and use your Dyson Corrale™ hair straightener.
Start by sliding the lock button up to open your Dyson Corrale™ straightener, then insert the Flight-ready tag.
Before first use charge to 100%, by using the dock with the cable attached or connecting the cable.
Once fully charged, press the power button to turn on. When prompted, press the (+) button to select the required temperature.
To maximise your run-time follow these steps:
Always start from 100% charge
Place in the charging dock between sections
Or extend the styling session by connecting the cable to use in hybrid mode
Once finished press and hold the power button to switch off. The power button will pulse while the plates cool.
Close and lock, then place in the charging dock for your next styling session.

Louisa Arthur: I just took mine out of the box and saw a button hanging off it. I thought it was a tag abs pulled it off. I now realise it was the flight button that I was meant to press in. Have I broken them already or will they work without it?

Sue Mccauley: I cannot believe that Dyson has created a product that is so poor. Why on earth would you add the stupid Flight-ready tag? I cannot get this to fit into the place its supposed to go and would happily have carried it in my stow-away luggage. It seems ridiculous to have this clumsy connection, that makes it unusable. I live in Riyadh and don't know where I go to get this sorted...for over £400, the quality should be way better.
Reckless: The problem is my airplane tag thing had a bent leg and would NOT press in! In my attempt to straight out the one leg the entire tag came out. Now I'm trying to get the stupid black cord back in the hole and it won't! I can now press in the airplane plug but the black wire hangs out. I obviously cannot freaking straighten my hair with that sticking out. So can I cut it off? Isn't it just there to keep the tag from falling out and losing it? It isn't necessary for its function right? The black thingy? Cuz I cannot get it back in the hole.
