For products used in this hairstyle, RaDona will pull out all of her tips and tricks with Monat. Monat has a wide range of products to make sure that they cater to all of your hair needs and hair types. In this case, RaDona is going to use some “magic” products to help give our client Janice the perfect style for her hair. To start with the styling, RaDona starts with using Monat’s Root lifter. With this, it will help lift the roots up from her clients hair to help make the roots lift and appear thicker. This way it also adds some volume to her clients thinning hair. She then uses Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse this will help condition the hair while providing a touchably soft hold. This will also help give RaDona’s client volume, body, and movement. Make sure that you only use one squirt of Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse since it is super concentrated. After you blow dry the hair, you can just leave the hair like this. If you want to style it, you can use Monat’s clay to help move the hair to stand up and piece out. Then you will use Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil to help with any frizz. To finish the hair, RaDona uses Monat’s Refinish Control Hairspray. Monat’s Refinish Control Hairspray is a flexible light to medium hold hairspray taht flawlessly completes your style. This hairspray offers workable, easy to brush through support and adds volume without weighing the hair down.

Today I have Janice with me: this is Dee Ann's mom, the one that video takes anyway. This is her mom and I wanted to show her haircut. I'M gon na start back here. We'Re just gon na trim this just straight across okay, so we just have that straight across okay. She likes it not too too short up here, we're just getting into trimness, and then she has these calyx. So if you have calyx back here, you'll want to keep that a tiny bit longer. We leave that just a little bit longer, so she has enough to come over, so it doesn't just split right there, okay and then we're just gon na come straight out here. She does she likes this back a little bit stacked, but not a ton. She likes it full, but a little bit tighter through this area. So I just bring it straight out from here and then this bottom area. I come in just a little bit tighter through this. This part close to the knee okay, so we're just going to trim this again just straight out from the head, and then this see that I'm just taking that part in because she doesn't like a ton of old bear, but she doesn't like it really really stacked. Okay, so ninety degree from the head the whole weight until we get to that main area. So I would say you know from the ear start angling. You know angle that down and you can see, though, see how that kind of fuller and then right there. It goes down in see right there from the Aryan Stangl that anymore, okay, see that so it's fuller through there and then it just comes in a little tighter, their favor the bottom again. So we're going to go in okay by the ear angle that in okay, then we're going to come up here on the top. You come across the top here. Okay, now we are going to kind of know how much more you want up from your ear. You want to over here either, but oh well, no we're not over I'm it over this way. It lays fairly close to this kind of angle. Okay, perfect! Okay, so I don't want sideburns right perfect. We can do that. Okay, so I'm gon na hold this straight out, just trim that okay, so she wants this on an angle a little bit, so we're just gon na cut up this way, and then I'm gon na take it to this back and connect it. Okay, this way down to the bottom there, so you can see how it kinda comes up, and then it goes back down with your back this way now this side same thing: we're gon na hold this straight out. Okay, we're gon na come on the angle here, just gon na check this over here, okay, and so when I started here on the ear I'm gon na I'm gon na turn this like, so you guys can see okay and then I'm gon na hold this hair Out so same thing that the other side comes here and comes down that way: okay, you're going to want to check the two sides make sure they're. Even okay. Now I'm just going to hold her bangs here, I'm gon na rest. My shears here just point cut into these little trim. Those up I like to point cut into those. So it's not like super straight across okay, perfect. Now, I'm going to give her a little bit of texture. You go this way right, Genesis! Okay! So let me just show you guys: you're not going to want to go by the part. Okay come out about an inch in that hair, and this will give it volume it will help hold it. Okay, perfect demo, I'm going to use the root lifter with Janis. This is nice that will give it body and he'll hold that hold it in yeah, obviously split spray it on the root. This is also a heat protectant. Okay, then you just rub that in and then you use only that much mousse. My I used a ton. This is very concentrated, so you don't want to use as much, and this helps that before okay, now I'm going to dry it okay, you know weird: I've sprayed the root lifter you're going to want to go the opposite way that you need the volume. Okay, I'm going to drag it this way a little bit and in this way I'm gon na dry. It the opposite way that you may need to volume. Okay! So now I'm going to go back the way that we are going to spiral so and what imma show you guys that? Okay, so you can see how much body she has just from that root lifter by drawing the opposite weight. So you I wanted to show you guys that now I'm going to take the round brush, okay, so easy! Okay, I'm just gon na turn her around! So you can see. That'S such a good haircut for her okay, I'm just gon na back home! This a tiny bit she doesn't like a ton right, Janice, so just a tiny bit. Thank you! Okay! Now I'm gon na spray it! You can see this here free this hole down a loop that has a lot of power so and it's super light um, but get it hold, see it's movable, but yet so anyway, you spray one more time and then I'm going to turn her down. So you can see your funny haircut. Thank You Janice for letting us do that. You betcha, okay. I would appreciate it if you guys would like subscribe and share, and I just appreciate you guys watching, and I hope you how great hey. Thank you. You

Eileen Greenberg: Thank you for showing us how to do that cute hair style! Would love to see more styles for fine short hair, for women over 60.

Suchef: I've been watching you style for a couple years and you have helped me cut my mother in law's hair!! I AM NOT A HAIR STYLIST!! LOL But with your guidance, it worked. I cut it like your mom's and everyone loves it!! So thank you! I have a very busy life with caring for an aging parent and just life in general. I have below shoulder graying and thinning hair but not really a style. It's fine thick( but not super thick) even though it's thinning. I have a annoying wave around my face, the rest is straight and cowlicks in the crown and around the face. I was contemplating going short, just so I would look more put together but I don't need a ton of work to make it look that way. Right now, I just pull it up and go. ANY suggestions you would have for going shorter would be GREATLY appreciated or keeping it long. My hair is brunette/gray, don't want to color and maintain that. I have an oval face.

Nancy Bardon: Thank you for showing us step by step how to style these stacked pixie cuts for us over 60 gals so they are youthful and stylish and for showing us the products we need to get our style s!

stephanie syckle: Great job...as a new stylist I appreciate your video's. They help me out alot❤ thanks

Sheila Wages: I just watched your tutorial for women over 60. I love that cut on her. I also watched the cut on the lady who is growing her hair out to your style. Loved it. I have been trying to find a color for my dishwater brown with lots of grey. Not fond of going blond. I like the idea of the color rinse. I have fine thin hair with cowlicks on crown and both sides of top of my face. I am coming back from a lot of medical issues. I already use a root booster on my short hair, but nothing else. The texturizing you do on fine hair is amazing. I also like the product you replaced the mousse with. It looks like it holds great as well as adding shine. The hairspray which is movable seems good too. I pretty much have to shellac my hair to make it not fly around and show my alapecia. As well as back combing my crown area, that's a great idea. I love watching you cut hair, whatever the style. It is a beautiful thing to watch. Every once in a while I will check out another site, but I subscribe to yours. You are spot every time. Thank for adding smiles to my day. I so wish you were close to Dallas. I would trust you to do whatevet you thought was best for my hair. Have a great day.
