Is it a month long [, Camerawoman, ], Yeah., Oooh, (, cheerful music )? I have had the hairiest face since childhood. I grow facial hair like all through here., I have lovely little trinkets of hair sticking out like a little goat. Every time. Someone says anything nice to me if they ever say anything nice to me. It'S about my brows. To just let them go free is something that's just not going to work for me.. When I was younger, I noticed that people on TV didn't have as much hair on their face as I did so that's when I kind of thought that it wasn't normal. The only woman with a unibrow is Frida Kahlo and she's still called ugly., I'm hoping to Gain some confidence in myself.. I think it'll be nice to give my face a break for like a month.. You like what you see now Give this a month. ( gong banging ) ( classical music ). I didn't expect that this little chin hair is already so long.. If you can kind of see that. I'm going to be super hairy at the end of this month., I personally notice like a lot of growth., I'm getting really paranoid.. So it's been about a week since I've done this challenge and already I have like just hair everywhere and I feel like everyone's staring at my unibrow. ( ding ) (, faster classical music, ) Aah. I have so much hair. It'S driving me nuts. It'S not a lot of hair on like tape. In person. I think you can see it., It's really bothering me., There's a little bit of a unibrow growing in right, there. It's starting to merge.. This is my worst nightmare. Like. I realize that this isn't that bad, but I feel super hideous.. I need to pluck my brows. ( ding ) ( very fast, classical music ). So I just came back from my interview.. I just kept thinking like `` What, if he notices how bushy my eyebrows are, What if he just thinks, I'm a slob that I'm just lazy, and he just translates that into my work. Ethic ,'' and you know it was just it was just too much.. I mentioned it to my guy friend the other day and I was like ``: Hey, I'm doing a BuzzFeed video ,'' and he was like ``, Oh cool. What is it about ?'''' Blah blah blah facial hair.'' He's like `` Ew, that's gross, that's so gross !''. I don't think it's that gross. I think it's good to keep things kempt same as for guys. I'd rather be kissing you and not flossing my teeth with your beard.. I never want to do this again., I feel hideous. I feel like a monster right now., I'm not happy about this challenge.. I might actually get them done today because I just literally can't take it anymore. (, ding, ), (, fast, classical music ). You can't see it right. You can't see it.. I don't think you can see it., I feel it though.. I feel it.. I really want to take it. Off. ( frustrated noise, ), Oh my.. I can totally see it now.. Usually I wasn't able to see .... Oh my god. Plucked a little bit like on the sides., Still left a little bit more hair than I'm used to leaving.. I don't even care that I plucked. I'm a piece of shit, sorry., (, swelling happy, simple, music ). I thought I'd better at it and I felt like ``. This is going to be a really great moment for me to like give zero fucks ,'', but I've never given more fucks in my life.. I think I would've been fine with my facial hair. If I wasn't concerned with other people's perspective of me., I didn't even want to go outside.. My boyfriend was coming in from out of town and I just couldn't feel sexy.. I don't think it was so much a beauty standard issue as much as it was like a me issue.. The videos started getting more (, laughs, ) agitating., I'd, try to put on makeup but you'd see like whiskers. At a point. I was sitting in my car and I was ripping out my own mustache hair because it was making me paranoid.. I had an interview this month and that was, I think, the most nerve-wracking I had ever been about my appearance.. I avoided eye contact a lot during the interview and I thought that really hurt my chances. Spoiler. It didn't but no one said anything negative about them.. There are a lot of people out there who either aren't allowed or because of cultural reasons they don't get to remove facial hair. Hang in there.. We have to fight the world as it is, and the people in it. We shouldn't have to fight ourselves., No matter how minor it might be for someone else. It mattered to me.. If it matters to you, then it's important.. I think I liked the experience enough that I would probably do it again for No Shave November., It's a good excuse to not groom for a month. Stubble doesn't hurt, it just makes you grow and grow stronger.

Sally Shoaf: "I feel like everyone is staring at my unibrow" Yeah, they're trying to find it

linda chea: I came from a culture where people do not even care how hairy your face or you legs are. When I first got in the United States, I was so confused about the "hairy legs are disgusting" phrase because I've never shaved my face nor my leg before. Clearly, beauty standards are very subjective.

Icy Ticey: Girl : *Grows one tiny hair on chin* *"OMG I'M SO HIDEOUS I FEEL LIKE A MAN!!!"*

alma ariaz: I see the message they were trying to say, they just chose the most wrong, insecure people for it.

Lvline Rodriguez: who else has noticeable dark hair on their face, arms, back, legs, and stomach ? Because same lol

Jen Vincur: “I look like a monster!” She literally looks the exact same

Jasmine Sea: I have full sideburns, mustache, unibrow and peachy cheeks, If I could have the amount of facial hair these girls have i'd feel so blessed

Ziggy Craft: THEY THINK *THEY* HAVE UNIBROWS?!

Lulu May: “There’s a little bit of unibrow going in right there” *points at skin with no hair on it*

chickpea: this reminds me of the fact that women on shaving ads litteraly shave an already shaved leg

Shalini Kumari: You call it weird... I call it normal. Am I the only one who never done facial hair removal? Am not feeling weird

pandalover panda: every girl has a mustache but some arent that visable because they are blond

Ava Davenport: I don’t get why I’m so insecure about my facial hair. Everyone has it. I just wish I could grow up in a world where people didn’t judge you for facial hair. It’s crazy!!

Maddy Fayant: You guys are all beautiful, with facial hair or not. If people love you for who you are enough they can see threw that. I loved this video because you guys got to see what embracing yourself for a month felt like. I would love to see more of these videos, you go girls!

Ryleigh: So. I have been doing this challenge for almost 14 years. Lmao

Erika Bell: I never shave any of my hair, including my mustache and sideburns. I have a pretty thick mustache for a woman. It helps add to my overall androgynous appearance, which I like. Only thing that sucks though is the guys I'm most attracted to often want more feminine women.

May R: I’ll grow a whole beard in a month

Amrita: Since I last watched this video, a couple years have passed, and I've stopped removing my body hair, except for le Brows. It's a freaking struggle, still! Not that I find myself "giving in" and doing it, but like, trying on shoes, I shock myself and the shoe salesman with my leg hair (seriously hilarious!) and always debate getting rid of my mustache because lipstick looks "better" without it and "weird" with it... just, let's not pretend it's not a big deal for a lot of women, because the only reason it's even an issue is because... well, when was the last time you saw any of that hair in a "normal" way in ANY media? Ever? Hairy girls, SO! Love yourselves and cull out those who would judge! Ha!

Yaeli Hyams: I do this challenge basically everyday....

Swamp Gal: Unbelievable fates, so dramatic! Thank you for taking the burden! I feel your pain sisters! THANK YOU @BuzzFeed

Maya M: I've been growing it for a week, and I totally feel what they're going through.. YES you need to get pretty close to see it, but it's THERE

Nichole Edwards: I've only had my brows done once this year, now I feel self-conscious lol thanks guys.

; 𝕡𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕟 . 𓆉: As thick eyebrow girl, I'm also SUPER insecure about not being able to get the hairs out of my lids, yes, we're insecure about it.

Kiwi Kudos: Well, seeing how hair is natural, and shaving is just a construct of today's societal beauty standards, I think you guys are good. Hair is on our bodies for a reason. We are literally the only animals that remove it for appearance. I almost never shave, and I still get intimacy and affection from the guys/girls I persue. And Frida was BEAUTIFUL, by the way.

ZELINARMY: Go girls! We're in this together.

anjlee verma: The girl who had beautiful eyebrows, umm,no one, literally no one could tell you had so much over the top visible growth.. it was all in your head.. come on girls, don't let such small things ruin your confidence! I have similar eyebrows like you and I've gone out with them undone! 2 months, that's when they get crazy!

Eleonora Davoli: i had a lot of facial hair like in primary/middle school. I was so scared that someone would tell me something about them that I almost didn’t talk to anyone. My mom didn’t want me to wax my eyebrows and moustache until high school(3 years ago). Now I’m very proud of my eyebrows (even though I have to fix them almost every two days), but I don’t want anyone to see pictures of those years.

um no .: Question: if you repeatedly tweeze your facial hair will it at some point damage the hair follicle and cause the hair to grow out thinner and lighter or not at all. Or will it grow back thicker...? I've been wondering this for some time now

Alexis: I grow facial hair like crazy and I feel this video on a spiritual level

Emily Irizarry: I feel this so much. My face is soo hairy, unibrow, mustache and chin... I would literally die if I couldn't wax or pluck for a month

s2me89: "I'd rather be kissing you and not flossing my teeth with your beard "

ItIsMeSario: I feel this on a personal level. Coming from someone who was bullied at school for having moustache hair, I agree with everything said here.

Queen Krishna 💜👑: I appreciate the fact that y’all tried this.

Scoutk Bartholomew: I keep wanting to say that it's no big deal. Everyone grows hair. It keeps us warm in the winter. I have hair in spots I'm not proud of but the best qoute was in the last few seconds of this video. "If matters to you, then it's important!". I need to keep that in mind when speaking to the one I care about.

Nikki Cedrone: I have so much hair growing out of my "beauty marks" read face moles, that if I continuously plucked them I'd be missing chunks of my face. And I don't know if the cameras were just too blurry, but I didn't see large amounts of hair on them. In fact, all these go-without videos are very easy, from going without make-up for a day/week, to growing out pubes, to not eating at restaurants, are some things a lot of normal people do and don't freak out about. You girls need more confidence and/or less fuccs.

Asya: Thanks that made me feel 10x hairier than I already was. If I gone 4 weeks without doing anything with my facial hair I would be a yeti

Vanessa Post: i personally don't let my facial hair bother me that much, the only time i even really bother with getting rid of it or anything is when i really want to look good or when i want to feel good about how i look

XxTøxíç ÅñglëxX: I am a girl and I'm proud to say I have a Una brow because its part of my body and us people should be use to our body and our facial hairs

Megan Rose: I've been growing out my facial hair since I was born

lydiaa x: I have been doing this challenge my whole life!

Addlyka Jatek Lai: It's shocking to see their reaction on growing their facial hair, but at some point it is understandable. They must have been so used to shave the facial hair and not doing it must have caused so much insecurities to them. On the other hand, I've never shave my facial hair before (yeah, it's kinda wild) so I don't really know how they feel. But then, this wouldn't have been a big deal(like it is to me) if they were to be more confident of themselves and care less what others think cause reality is, some people could care less of such stuff. And even if they do, you know yourself best, you own yourself, and doing what you wish to do to yourself is fully your right. On a short note, this video is interesting and maybe I'll try to shave my facial hair and check this whole thing out myself. Maybe.

Miri: It's sad that nowadays women are worried about natural hair in their face (and on other places of their bodies) and feel "hideous" with them. And I don't even see what they're complaining about. This comes from me, a women that always wanted to adapt our society and believed what they said aboout what I should do and what I must do to be acceptable and beautiful. But I didn't realize that I don't have to change a thing and what matters is only my own opinion of me. I had to understand, every single thing on my body is just ME and because of that beautiful. Including body hair.

GachaVerse xD: I think they have overreacted U CANT SE THE HAIR

Poochi Gang Lads: Girls, don’t worry Guys are used to having an immense amount of body hair and if they see you with just a tad bit more hair than usual, they won’t care

Stacy Johnson: I don't do my eyebrows regularly and I do feel self conscious about it, too. My eyebrow hair grows really fast, and they get long. Not bushy, and curly, but long. Lol

Neon Yan: Guy says it's gross... Why do women have to have no facial hair(apart from eyebrows), I mean men can have beards and mustaches. But a women has the tiniest hint of one and lots of people are like 'ew! Gross!'. It's the same with shaving, why should women 'have' to shave their legs, arms and underarms to look 'pretty', and men not?! Shaving for women (from what I've read) was introduced by a company that sold shaving equipment for men and wanted to expand their business. So now most women stress out about what others will think about a small amount of bodily and facial hair! This is 2018, I know we still have a long way to go as a species but why should a women (sometimes men) be looked down on for how much bodily hair they have? I doubt anyone will have read to the bottom of my rant but I just had to say this, so thank yo to anyone who did. I don't want to offend anyone so I am so sorry to anyone I offended

Roman Miller YT: They’re beautiful with or without facial hair It’s how you are on the inside that matters anyway

Corrina's Life: Speaking as a woman with pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) I have to shave my whole face every other day other wise I have a mustache, chin hair, hair all over my face. So these girls have nothing to complain about. Pcos is harder than this 30 day challenge. If I did 30 days I'd be a werewolf haha... But seriously

Ee Vee: I so wish someone with PCOS had been included in this! Due to high levels of testosterone (amoung other things), my facial hair grows in really fast, thick, and dark now. While I don't have a full on beard like a guy does, there is long, dark hair along that whole beard area, and if I'm on top of maintaining my upper lip, that gets done every couple of days. Due to a skin condition and allergies I can't wax (even with sensitive waxes) and I can't bleach the hair. Can't afford electrolysis (not sure if my skin could take it anyway). It's the thing I dislike the most about myself when I look in the mirror. The weight gain I can handle. The excruciating and punishing menstrual cycles I can handle. This one thing is what I can't bring myself to own, and nobody around me has the same struggle. This video was a let down -like that's what they looked like after a month? Girl, I'm lucky if I get past a week with that little growth =/

ClickClacKAI: My brows get super bad in a month's time. It gets to a point where the hair gets to my eyelids and sort of starts to make its way to connect with my hairline. I also start to get a unibrow. Whenever I get my brows threaded, they always ask me how long it's been since the last time I got them threaded, and when I tell them it's only been a month they look at me like I'm lying.

Steve Colbert: I could not do this challenge. Kudos to them!

Aida Burrito: My dilemma is that after a week or so my mustache grows back and sometimes I dont have the time get it waxed/threaded. So sometimes I go weeks without it. It looks so gross and I can feel people staring at me but when I finely get it taken I feel so much better. Its tought being a hairy girl

Iridescent Seraph: I'm pretty fine with walking around with my feminine mustache, but a unibrow is just a step too far! oh and my mom is always forcing me to shave. I also don't mind leg hair, but I hide my legs anyway because I'm shy about the fact that they get so dry.

B Ting: this legit could be a parody concept for how dramatic Buzzfeed could be

Lola Rodgers: I’ve never had anything like this happen. I have full brows but not hair all over my face. I don’t shave or pluck any hairs on my face lol. I’ve went 25 years without shaving or plucking my facial hair and I don’t have a damn mustache lol. I’m happy that I don’t have to worry about that. I DO however groom my eyebrows because I want a certain shape but if I don’t shape them I don’t get a uni brow or anything? I will say I fed as if they are overreacting a bit. Other than those who seem to have a bit of a mustache etc

piou77piou: 2:39 "OMG I can totally see it." 2:40 Guy with massive beard is like "Ok ....."

Skye: I have so much more facial than they do. If I went 30 days I would have a unibrow, a dark mustache, side of my face and chin hairs lmao

Aiza Saed: omg how superficial the society has made us!! its just facial hair :o

Buttsy Bobcat: three conventionally attractive women grow out their facial hair a tiny bit groundbreaking

shoker kobutor: For everyone saying you can't even see the hair, well you gotta remember that the camera they're filming with probably hides the hairs along with other imperfections and the idea of not removing hair gives them a illusion that they're hairy ...

Crescent Blue: I barely saw any hair growth within the first 3 weeks You girls are fiiiiine

kittygirl: Ok but the girl with the darker skin has such an adorable voice

Sound of Nature: I like looking at facial hairs. I think it's a great feature to have on one's face. Or maybe it's just me.

Jada S.: I can literally grow a full beard (that connects to my sideburns) and a mustache. No unibrow, but if I don't keep my facial hair up then I look like a guy (mostly because I am black and Puerto Rican, so my hair is super thick, black, and curly making it very noticeable)

Abi Eyre: Can I just say these women are all so beautiful☺️ why would the amount of hair on their faces change that

Rockyleee: "I look like a monster!" GURL NOTHING CHANGED YOU LOOK FINE

angela: this video made me feel so self concious about my brows

ליהיא דוידסון: You look gorgeous in every way you are!!! (I didn't even saw your "hairy face" and even if I would seen it you are steel beautiful)

Jasmine K: What?? Her eyebrows looked great the whole time like really

kaylee castell: i think the valid point here is they were too afraid to grow their hair BECAUSE THEY CARED what others were going to think. *MESSAGE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GROW THERE HAIR OUT: Please do it , because people are going to judge you no . matter . what . and if you let others run your life ; guess what you just gave your power away . DO WHAT YOU WANT

Shona Rose: Oh my goodness. This is so sad, to know that woman care so much about their hair. I occasionally treat myself to shaving my "mustache" that no one can see, and I've plucked my eyebrows once. I really wish our society wasn't like this; I never realized that people care so much about it... It makes me really sad for them.

Trash Queen 666: Girls: OMG SO MUCH HAIR Me: You can barely see that!!! I’m a werewolf

maria hernadez: And here I am letting my brows and mustache grow out for a month on average just to get my money’s worth when I get it threaded

Z J: I'm abnormally hairy and it doesn't help that I have black hair and I'm pale

Hannah Elizabeth: I just started shaving and it’s amazing

Reychell Brooks: Growing up, I was so hairy all over. Then one day everything stopped. I really did nothing but now I grow hair less than the average person

Sophie Wenster: Before I started shaving my leg hair wasn’t sticking out as much until I started shaving everyday after my hair grows as long as it was before I started shaving

Wicked Mutha: How Sad! You are all so beautiful! I didn’t notice hair growth at all.

Zaskar: They’re all beautiful even with hair on they’re faces

sugarfreeskull: *has basically no hair Girl: AAAHHHH I HAVE SO MUCH HAIR IT’S DRIVING ME CRAAAZZZZZZYYYYYYYYY .......Meanwhile I’m over here looking like a Wookiee

DaveKraft400: There was a girl I went to school with and she has a full blown blonde caterpillar on her top lip and over the years of being in school I always wondered why noone had told her about it. I'm not exaggerating, imagine fluffy blonde Borat stache.

White Rice: I wish my facial hair grew this fast

Marilyn15: Instead of making fun on the women for "overreacting", we should be thinking about how even the tiniest amount of facial hair can diminish someone's confidence.

Nurul: I literally have a visible but not thick mustache and my mom said it's normal coz she had it when she's a teen and one day it'll disappear just like that.. I believe her, hopefully soon ✌️

A. B.: I’m more concerned about the awful overlining of the lips In the thumbnail....

M E: This is my 12th year doing this challenge...

Atiqah Saiyidah: This is my 21st year doing this challenge. Oh, I forgot. I never bother about my facial hair.

Ilona: Wow. I can't be bothered. If my bf ever had an issue with my facial hair, he'd be free to kiss the pillow for the rest of his life. Nah. I'm a woman. I have hair everywhere. Including the face. Deal with it.

Cherpy LaTina: I let my frida brows grow for 4months before threading. Its great

Kay Kay: “I’d rather be kissing you and not flossing my teeth with your beard” I can’t

MimiWalburga: I think most people don't realize how psychologically hard this growing out thing really is. The pressure of society for women to be good-looking and feminine is huge, and hairs on our chin contradict both of that b today's standards.

chill cloud: I never touch the hair on my face (that is basically my brows) ‘cause I don’t even have enough for my brows lolol. I would like to have more hair though, it’s gorgeous, eyebrows look amazing! Damn i almost don’t have lashes

Stephanie Groeneveld: Not one of these women had real facial hair issues. I've grown a full beard since I was a little girl.

Salma Vakil: Dude I have been growing them out for 20 years

An W: I love my unibrow and all my body hair, it is part of me :)

G Noelle: Literally noticed no difference on any of the women between day 1 and day 30.

Natasha Tortosa: I for one am extremely hairy....i leave my eyebrows grow out for MONTHS. Upperlip/chin, I usually do myself.

Victoria.: This has encouraged me to don't pluck my brows for the entire next year, wish me luck.

Sophia Z: I know a woman who's the mother of a son. Every time the son introduces his mother to a different teacher, parent, child, etc, she's always thought as the son's father. It's because she has a ton of facial hair, so much that she has a beard on her face. At first, she waxed and threaded it since many people would judge her. However, it left bumps and marks on her face, so she decided to not care about what others think and she grew it out. I'd consider these women lucky with the amount of facial hair they have.

Allie: No matter what they all still look beautiful
