Hi everyone and welcome to today's video in today's video i'm going to be sharing with you. What i've been using to help me get these edges to come back and also to help me to grow my hair. So if you've not seen my previous videos, where i've been sharing my journey of trying to grow my hair, then i shall leave a link up above and down below. So you can go right on ahead and catch up with those videos, but just quickly just to let you know so. I'Ve been wearing extensions forever for such a long time, um and yeah. Unfortunately, it has damaged my hair, and so when we had locked down in march of last year, decided to take all the extensions out um and just leave my hair. No extensions, no relaxer, no, nothing, nothing, just natural, which i don't think i've been natural since oh gosh, i don't know, maybe since i was about 17 18 or something so a long time ago. So this is my natural hair and um literally. This is pretty much the length of my hair. If i'm honest, it has never really been longer than this um. I did cut it a couple of days ago, so i did just have a little bit of a trim, so it's actually um got a little bit shorter um than what it was a few weeks ago, because it really really needed the trim. So i've gone a little bit shorter, but that's fine. It looks so much healthier um, but this is pretty much the length of my hair. My hair has never been longer than this. Never so, in all honesty, the products i'm going to share with you are amazing, but i'm not expecting them to get my hair any further in length than this. I'M really not i'm really not. If i can just get these edges back a bit more, then you know praise the lord i'll be happy with that. So, let's dive straight on in and let me share with you the products i'm currently using and my absolute favorite product, um, probably of 2020 to be honest, um that has been helping my hair to come back and to grow. So what i think i'm going to try and do is try and um show you the actual process of how i use these products. So i'm going to start with um what i used to wash and condition my hair with, and i'm going to start with this, which is the cantu cleansing cream shampoo. So i've been using this on my hair, i would say over the last couple of months: um and this stuff is just glorious, smells lovely, um, lathers up really really well. So i really feel like it's really cleaning my hair. It'S really getting rid of all the you know, all the products and the build up of products and everything that i put in my hair during the week and my hair is quite fine, so i don't need a great amount, so this has lasted really quite well. You can see i'm about down to here now um and this product is fabulous. It says made for curls coils and waves, and my hair springs up lovely once i've used this. If you see the actual real curls once i kind of like wash my hair um, my daughter is always like. Oh my gosh, your hair, you know the curls of the hair are really lovely, but this is so nice. It really does remove. It says he removes the heavy buildup in the hair and scalp, and it's made with pure shear butter, so yeah, i start off with and washing my hair with this, which is the cantu cleansing cream shampoo. I also just want to throw in this product for a second, because this is um, a brand called alchemy remedy, the alchemy remedy, and oh my gosh. I discovered this brand at the end of 2020. It is my hero brand of 2020 and i'll explain a little bit later. Why but um the creator of the brand she's so lovely she uh she she's always like do you want to try this and you want to try that so it's great, because i get to try out new products that she's creating she's like a scientist and she's. Just a wealth, a wealth of knowledge about um everything to do with hair skin and all that good stuff. So i'm currently using the um peppermint shampoo as well so i'll alternate between this and the cantu, because i'm just trying this out at the moment. What i love about the alchemy remedy is that the ingredients are very, very natural. It'S not full of crap. There'S no unnecessary ingredients in there that you know you really do not need it's just purely so they can sit on the shelf and for as long as possible um their products are like as natural as you can get and they're just real high quality stuff. So it's not the cheapest, but you know i share with you my hero product in a second, but the brand is amazing, so i'm also trying out their peppermint shampoo at the moment as well, moving on to conditioner and i'm currently using this one, which is the Shear moisture raw, shea butter, restorative conditioner and again, oh my goodness, this stuff is just glorious. It smells so nice. You know i'm a sucker for a product that smells good. I am you know i can't be doing it. You know products that don't smell good unless they're really really good for the hair, then i'll just you know, let's just suck it up, people suck it up for the sake of the growth of the hair, but this just smells so lovely. It'S really really. Moisturizing. We'Ve got in here sea kelp, argan oil, organic shea butter, all that good stuff um and it's from their um damaged, transitioning hair range, and i love it. It is so so nice really really good for my hair and sometimes what i'll do is i'll leave this on and do like a treatment leave it on put my steam cap on and leave this on for about 15 minutes um and use it kind of like A mask, but if i don't use this product, then another product that i've been using is this one which is completely empty? As you can see it is i've completely finished it? I don't even know if you can see on there what it is, but this is retro rich's, hair repair mask um and again this is a glorious mask. This is created by a lovely young. Lady called lacy has her own brand called retro rich and which is just phenomenal. I love supporting women that are doing amazing things and going out there and setting up their own brands and businesses and companies and all that good stuff. You go girl, you go lacey. I love it. I love it and also when the products are good too. You know you have to applaud i'm trying to applaud. You have to applaud them as well, so um yeah. This is completely finished, see how much i love it. It'S completely finished. So i'll put this on: leave it on for about 15 minutes, put my steam cap on and then i'll wash it off. Now i always let my hair dry, naturally, because it is so fine um, it really doesn't need um any heat on it doesn't take long to dry, which is really good, and i think that's one of the reasons why my hair is starting to come back because There is no heat, none nada, niente heat that touches my hair. Only once last year did he touch my hair. When i went to my hairdresser's and she just did a treatment um - and that was it, but to be honest um when my hair is straightened, it looks quite fine and flat and thin, so i actually prefer it now to just leave it leave it alone. Let'S just rock the throw, shall we, let's just go with the pro so once my hair is dry. I then go in with this um, which is the cantu shea butter leave-in conditioning repair cream. So i will go in with this, and i must admit: cantu is great for my hair really really the brand there's a lot of products that work so well on my hair, including this one and again another one that just oh, if only you can smell that Smell smell, can you smell? Can you smell that? Oh my gosh, that is just amazing, smells fantastic. So i am a huge lover of shea butter, so you can see most of the products that i use have sheer butter in them and um again. I just leave this in makes my hair feel really really soft and and really lovely. I put this leave-in conditioner in and then i'm good to go so once i've done all of that and my hair is dry then i go in with again. You can see how much i love a can too. I then go in with the cantu coconut curling cream, and my mom actually got me on this um. She was like you should try this and it is lovely, it says, defines moisturizing helps straighten strands and it really does it is. This is probably my go-to um everyday moisturizer for my hair for that moisture for that curl and it's not heavy. So if you've got fine hair like mine, you don't want like products that really like weigh the hair down this stuff. Just doesn't it smells divine and it's really lightweight, and it just gives such lovely um kind of like texture and feeling and moisture to my hair. So i will use this mainly in the daytime and when it's the night time my routine changes just a little bit so there's two products that i use in the night time. One you'll have seen me mention before the aunt jackie's, not on my watch. Absolutely adore. This stuff, this is great for um like detangling. It says softens, helps, restore moisture balance, eliminates knots and tangles. Now i don't really get knots and tangles, because the hair is fine, the hair's in good condition. I don't have a lot of it. As you can see. It'S fairly short still, so i don't really have that problem. But what i'll do in the night time is. I will um just wet my hair using my lovely little. I don't know you see that. Oh i love this. It'S like a mist. It'S like just a lovely mist, so i will use this to just wet my hair and then i will either add this to my hair and put this on the hair and then just do like twists of the hair or i will go in with um retro. Rich and so i will use retro rich's empress hair butter, so i alternate actually throughout the um week one night it's this, and this is so lovely. It'S like a thicker consistency than the aunt jackie's not on. My watch is a quite a watery consistency um, but this one is a thicker one. You'Ll have to excuse all the hairs on there, but you can see again nearly finished. You can see how much i love these products too. Nearly finished this one - and this is great - you only need a small amount on this one um and when you put it in your um fingers it it, it kind of like softens, really really softens up quickly, um and put it on the hair. And then this one you've got shear butter. You'Ve got grapeseed oil, sunflower, oil, apricot oil, castor oil, argan oil, all the oils in this one too, so yeah this is fabulous, so either this one or the um not on my watch is what i tend to use before i go to bed and then, finally, My hero, go-to product for 2020, was definitely this. One you'll have seen me talk about it on my instagram. This stuff is amazing. It is this. Is the alchemy remedy root stimulation oil um? It is just just. It has been a blessing on my hair. You know we're trying to get the edges to come back. You can see that they're trying they are really trying and like we know that edges. You know they take a little while um to come back, but it's definitely been helping to grow the rest of my hair, like i said, i've just had a trim so actually shorter than what it was before. Um and in all honesty, like i said before, my hair doesn't grow beyond this, so it's all good i if, if this is the longest, it gets it's fine, i'll live with it, but it'd be interesting to see if any of these products go any further, but I have to say this has been the absolute hero product for me. This has grown my head quicker than anything else that i've tried this year. Absolutely anything else that i've tried. It is not cheap. I'M just gon na warn you now it is not cheap, but for me for me i'm just saying in my own opinion it's been worth it. It'S definitely been worth it because just seeing the the um edges start to come back i'll leave some pictures, so you can see the difference. Um, i'm two months, i'm about two months in now of using this, and this has helped my hair quicker and faster than anything else. It really has so, if you're looking for something to help with your hair growth, um check this out, definitely, and you can feel it kind of like stimulating the hair, because what i also do alongside that is, i use the um the roller as well just to Help even more with getting the oils in to you know into the skin into the head and to stimulate it even more, so i also use um the roller as well, and they also sell the sanitizing spray for the roller. If you need that too, they also sell that. So you know this is not an ad um, but i'm just honestly sharing with you. What'S worked for me and nothing and nothing has worked better for me than this stuff this year just been amazing and it's so funny, because um keisha, the owner, she sent me over a uh, stronger version of it. Um, like i said in the beginning, i'm always helping to like test stuff out and it's brilliant. It'S like wow. You know a little bit a little bit of a guinea pig, and so i am actually trying a stronger formula of this just to see how it how it works and how it goes. But in all honesty, i'm quite happy to stick with this, because my hair growth in a space of two months has just been amazing. For me, for me, like some, people's hair will have grown even more because that's just the nature of their hair. My hair grows. So any help that i can get. Thank you jesus praise the lord gladly received so um yeah. This is definitely my hero product um of 2020.. Honestly, honestly, his stuff is amazing, so that is it for this video. As you can see, the hair is starting to come along. I think it's it's trying and you know i don't expect it to go beyond this, but let's see i will not be putting the hair extensions back in, but i think i might get a wig. I'M really um yeah, i'm really interested in getting a wig and maybe just changing up the look every now and again so yeah.
