Captainsting: I can grow a huge beard. Here's a test i did myself. When i had a huge biker's beard, very few women preferred that one. Then I tried the 10 - 20 stubble. Most women preferred that and i started getting attention everywhere like in restaurants, public transport, malls and all. They went absolutely crazy about it. Then i got clean shaved. No to a very less no. of women preferred that one. NOTE - i workout and have a good built that's why i still got attention from women when I was clean shaved if it's really the attention of women we are talking about here.) Josh: So I'm 26 and can't really grow a beard because the sides of my face just do not grow enough hair to form a beard, but I can do a full goatee with a mustache, as shown on The Rock in this video. I know a lot of women prefer a beard to a goatee, but I have also found that some women don't really have a preference between a beard or a goatee, and I also believe the majority of women, at least in the US, generally prefer a man with facial hair to a man who is clean shaven. So my whole life I never had any facial hair at all until the last few months but since I can't grow a beard I just went with the goatee and honestly, people who knew me before I had any facial hair and then saw me with the goatee when the mask mandate in my state ended, were like "wow, you look so much older and more mature now." It's almost always been a positive response. I have definitely had multiple women tell me how much they like my facial hair. I have also noticed many of them will say "I really like your beard." Even though it's a goatee. So, as stupid as it sounds, I think some women don't really give a flying crap if it's a goatee or a beard, they just wanna see some facial hair. I even had one woman I went on a date with and toward the end she just kept wanting to touch my goatee, constantly running her fingers through it and I was conflicted because I liked the attention and it made me feel handsome but also it was annoying and I literally never gave her permission to just fucking put her hands all over my face so that was kind of annoying. But my point is, a FULL goatee, as in, including the mustache, in MY opinion is still overall a good look on most guys, it still adds definition to the face and it doesn't elongate your face the way just a chin puff does. You can still have it be very neat and maintained with well-defined lines which screams "I can take care of myself" but at the same time, its still rugged and also says "I'm a little different than other guys, I don't just rock a standard beard." Most of the women who have told me they don't like my goatee are women who don't prefer facial hair on a man at all. Beards are cool, goatees can be cool too, my point is, if you can't grow a beard but you can grow a goatee, especially a full goatee, including the mustache, give it a try, it's not necessarily second rate and if you can rock it, I say give it a shot, I had to get used to it but I think even when I can grow a beard when I get older I'll just stick with my goatee. To anyone who took the time to read all this, these are just my thoughts and experiences based on wearing what is, according to this video, one of the most hated mens facial hairstyles of all time.
