So, as many of you already know, because I talk about this a lot - I am a super hairy girl. I have tried literally every single facial hair removal technique Under the Sun, but today I have partnered with joy and Glee to give you guys a one-on-one lesson on two of the best ways to remove facial, hair, waxing and creams. So, although you can use the glee wax and creams to remove facial hair, all over your face today, I'm gon na be specifically focusing on your upper lip hair, because I feel like a lot of girls or women, whatever struggle with what is the best way to Remove like upper lip hair so join glee is a women's hair removal brand with super simple and easy to use. So, as you guys can see, I do have makeup on right now, so I'm gon na go remove my makeup and then we will start with the 101 lesson. Okay, so I just removed my makeup and before I actually get into discussing waxing and creams, I wanted to zoom in on my upper lip just so that we can all feel super comfortable here to show you guys what my mustache looks like. This is my upper lip hair. As you guys can see, it does exist and it's normal and it's okay and then also, although I'm not going to be removing chin hair in this video, I do have chin hair as well. Okay, so now that we're all comfortable in our skin here first, I want to talk about waxing. So the Glee wax strips are super easy to use. They'Re, quick and you don't even have to rub them in between your hands or warm them up literally, when you take them out of the box they're ready to go. So, as I said earlier, a huge benefit to waxing is that your results are gon na last. So much longer so with the glee wax strips the results actually last up to 28 days and finally, another benefit from waxing. Is that often times when I shave my upper lip, I will get a pimple there for some reason, I think from like the germs from the razor, but with the glee wax strips, it's not going to cause any breakouts at all. It works effectively on sensitive skin and it's actually going to leave your skin super smooth after using it okay. So now I'm finally going to show you guys how to use the glee wax strips on your face. So these are what the wax strips will look like. So I'm just going to open this takeout strip and it smells like raspberries. I want to eat it. Okay anyway. Let'S my eat it. So I'm just going to pull these apart and we're gon na remove the hair on this side of my face. So you just want to make sure that you're pressing it down all the way so that the wax adheres to all of the hairs and then one two three I'm going to peel it off ready one. Two three: I'm really excited to show you basis. I'M gon na show you guys after no because really quick. I want to make sure to clean this up because that except okay, so after you've waxed it, it is gon na look red because you've literally just pulled wax from your face, but you want to use the finishing white comes in this little packet, just open it Up then, what this is gon na do is it's going to help soothe your face and also it's going to remove any of like the excess wax as left on your face, so I just used the finishing wipe and it literally removed all of the extra wax And the redness on my upper lip is already starting to go down, so I want to show you guys the satisfying part after you have waxed your upper lip. You always want to make sure to check the wax strip just to see how much hair actually came off and the proof is in the wax you guys like it's just really satisfying to look at okay, so you guys can see that see. Everything, if I like, show you what an angle it's better. I feel like. Oh and, of course, let me zoom in to show you guys what my upper lip looks like. You can clearly see a difference between the side that was waxed and the side that wasn't. Okay, now, let's discuss the pros and cons of using wax strips to remove your facial hair, so the Glee wax strips are effective on even the shortest hair. Another Pro, of course, is that the wax strips are convenient. You can do them in the comfort of your own home. You don't have to go to the salon. It'S inexpensive, so the glue wax strips are only eight. Ninety seven, which is super, affordable, white strips, are quick and they take so much longer to grow back than pretty much any other facial hair removal technique. So the glue wax strips actually take up to 28 days for regrowth, which is crazy, and I feel like it. Just factors in again to the affordability aspect, because if you're only doing this once a month, your box is going to last you so long now, one con that it is definitely not pain-free, but I have such a low pain, tolerance seriously. It'S ridiculous, like I cannot handle any pain and the wax strips I'm totally comfortable with. So for me, it's okay, but let's say that your pain, tolerance is even lower than mine. The creams which I will get into in a minute may be a better alternative for you, oh and also another Pro to the Lee wax strips is that you can use them for your facial hair. You can use them for your bikini line for your legs. Your armpits anywhere on your body, they are super versatile. Now I want to give you guys my 101 lesson on facial hair removal creams. So the Lee hair removal creams are super easy. You just put it on your upper lip or wherever you want to remove body hair, and you just wait a couple minutes, and then you use the spatula that comes in the box to remove the cream. So you can even like go in the shower and do your regular shower routine, with the cream on your upper lip and you're totally fine. Similarly, to the glue acts strips the length of hair is irrelevant, it works on both short and longer hair. Alright, so, as I showed you guys, I cleaned my face and I don't have any product on this side of my upper lip, which is where we're going to be using it. So the applicator is a really good shape because it basically just allows you to easily apply the cream on your upper lip. Now you can leave this on for two to five minutes. I'M gon na do let's do four minutes. My facial hair is a little bit thicker, so I feel like going on the longer side. It'S probably a better idea and with the Glee facial creams, they are actually designed to be suitable on sensitive skin okay, so we have 30 seconds left and I just want to point out that it is super important to make sure that you do not leave this On your face for longer than 5 minutes, don't think that if you leave it on longer, it's gon na work better that 100 % is not case. I want to get into the pros and cons of using facial, hair removal creams, so the Glee creams are completely painless. They are not gon na irritate your skin. Similarly, to the clay backs, the creams are super convenient, so you can do it in the comfort of your own home. Whenever you want it is inexpensive, so the creams are only 897 and you're gon na get so many uses out of just the one box. Also, it smells really good and you are able to use the cream all over your body. So one of the cons of facial hair removal creams is just that it does take longer to work than waxing. So if you are someone who wants something done quickly, if you don't want to even have to get chores done, while the cream is on your face, maybe waxing would be a better option for you and then another con to using the creams. Is that the wax strip results are going to last up to 28 days, whereas the cream results are going to last up to 7 days now, I'm going to fast forward to show you guys what my upper lip, regrowth, hair or lack thereof, looks like in two Days, hello guys, so it has now been two days since I used the wax in Korea on my upper lip. My upper looks still looks super smooth on both sides, which I think just sort of exemplifies how effective the glee hair removal products are at removing and facial hair, especially upper lip hair. So let me just zoom in - and I also just want to point out that clearly my upper lip is not irritated, it's not red, it doesn't look like it was red.
