It'S time for that good ol word come on somebody, death and life are in the power of the tongue. Those who love it, who eats its fruits proverbs 18:21. D+, hey guys! Welcome back to my channel in today's video. We are talking about hair. I'M gon na give you guys some tips to help my hair grow. Hopefully it's helpful to anyone that is on this journey. With that being said, let's just get into the studio so 2017. I decided to reach out my hair off again on reason why I did this was because I enjoyed my natural hair journey the first time, but I was doing things that was actually hurting my hair. Instead of helping my hair grow, I did what many of us do on YouTube and we searched. You know how to grow our hair and there were some videos that did help my hair grow. Although there were tips, I did help my hair grow. There are also some tips that I tried out on my hair that actually affected my hair growth. So in this video we're gon na talk about my top news in my top don'ts that has helped my hair grow. So grab you a piece of pen and paper. A piece of pen grab you a piece of paper and a pen and we'll just get into it. The number one thing I've learned about my hair and I hope everyone do the same is I have learned to listen to my hair, so I know we're very curious and eager when it comes to growing our hair out. We look for information that will actually help you to target that length that you're looking for, but one thing I've learned about this whole entire hair journey was listening to your hair is very very important by the way in this video we are doing a protein treatment. What I'm doing right now, I'm just detangling my hair, I like to do it in section, because it makes my detangling process a lot easier, paying attention to what your hair liking, what it doesn't like, what actually help you and benefit your hair growth. I'Ve learned this. The hard way I used to get on YouTube all the time and I'll look for you, know, tips and tricks and I'll try these tips out. But when I try them out, my hair actually rejected certain products that I used on my hair and I'll keep going, because you know certain person said a whole, their hair out and I'll try to do the same thing just so. I can get to the length that I'm looking for, but I've learned that if you force something that your hair doesn't like into your hair, the more it rejects it, the more you are killing it. So that's number one tips that I actually highly recommend you guys to doing. That is to pay attention and to listen to your hair and see what it doesn't like and what it does like. So next, what I did right here was: I applied my avocado protein treatment. I actually have a video on how I make this entire process, so I'll leave the link down below. If you are curious, I do this in section because it makes it easier, and I also take my time on massaging the product into my hair. I do this once a month. My mom needs to do this regiment on my hair, when I was younger and I never knew the benefits until now and I have to say it's amazing, my next tip will be do not neglect your og product when I say og product, I'm talking about product That your mama and them and your auntie and I'm your grandmama and them you see, use on your hair. A lot of us tend to neglect those products. Because of you know, research studies says this and that and that, but there are some products that we used to use. Our are still really good for our hair. I have a product that I still use and that's the African best growth oil, and I also have like this other product that I use is like a the grease, the old grease. If you guys know, I will put all the grease that I usually use on here that I still use some of these products are still good for your hair, believe it or not, um, we feel, as if you know just crystal world is you know, improving and The natural hair community is saying: don't use this, don't use that that we have to completely stop using our old youth product. I'Ve learned that my African vessel greased Bowl, grease product greases conditioner scalp conditioner, has actually helped my hair grow ten times more then most of these high ends natural hair products, and one thing I am going to say about these og product is you just have to Learn how to use them? I'M not saying use it like we used to use where you put so much grease on your hair and that every time you touch it, your hands are moisturize. I'M saying use it in a Sparta way. I use my og grease in a way to seal my ends and also condition my scalp and it's actually benefited my entire leaving condition process. So that's one thing I would highly recommend you guys to do is look for your old G product, especially when it comes to grease, find a grease that works for you and use it as part of your leaving condition, or you can use it as a nighttime. Routine, where you just use it to grease your scalp and to steal your in so my next process into my protein treatment. Is I like to steal everything with a towel and my scarf because I have low porosity hair, so I leave the process well, I'll. Leave the protein treatment in for a good powers on some 30 minutes. It depends on my liking, but yeah I will go in with my main choice, shampoo and then I go with my biotin slash, collagen conditioner. I absolutely love this conditioner. I bought it on Marshalls and it's absolutely the best. I'M just gon na go and wash it off and try to do this whole Instagram ease trick by hands. So now that we're back I'm going to spray my hair with Oliveira, I like to use it as a leave-in conditioner, and I mix oils and all that good stuff in it, but on to tip number three, and that is to leave your hair alone. I'M not going to come on here and list all these lights tip top tips to grow your hair off, but really my top 3 that actually helped my hair is leaving my hair alone. I like to decondition. I will protein treatment, my hair and I'll - add all the stuff that I need my hair to take in and then I leave my hair alone, whether is protective styling, whether it's a bun. I just leave my hair long. I don't touch my hair. Often I only touch it weekly when it's neat, some people like to you know play with their hair. Now I like to remind myself that I'm not white okay, because white hair and black people hair is different. There are so many people that can wash their hair every day. They can change their hairstyle every day and their hair looks perfectly fun every single time. But for me I like to think to myself and say: you're, not white. You cannot wash your hair every day. You cannot touch your hair every day too much touching too changing everyday too much. Applying this every day is going to kill your hair and my language, we like to say, be seen by Simba he's like a BNT, so don't touch your hair every day, touching it every day, changing hairstyles. It will actually affect your hair growth. Then you thinking he look cute sis, so that is one tip that I like to do to retain my length and to make sure that my hair is healthy. Yes, I do touch my hair, but I don't do it every day. So what I've applied on my hair right now is my du growth. I actually been using it since I was a good third grader and it does grow my hair and that's one product that I'm not letting go, no matter what people say. This product is here to stay so yeah next tip, which is my last tip, and that is understanding the importance of having a routine and a regiment. I highly recommend you guys to have a routine in a regiment to where you actually pick a day, and that day you either do a hair mask a deep conditioner or you wash your hair. So for me, I like to deep condition, meaning I do my hair mask every Monday and then I do my protein treatment as far as like my wash day with shampoo and all that stuff at the end of every month. So I basically trained my hair. Yes, you can train your hair, I trained my hair and to know what to come. Every Monday on Wednesday is like a moisturizing day and then, by the end of the month, I have my protein treatment and shampoo days. So, on Mondays, what I like to do is I co wash my hair and then my hair masque. I do a hair mask and then I'm going with my Neve and conditioner. If I'm doing a wig that week I break my hair up and then on Wednesday. I I think I greased my scalp on Wednesdays. If I have a way going or if I'm doing like a ponytail I'll put my ponytail up after our deep conditioned and my and I will my scalp and then by like on a Friday when I'm tired with the ponytail, I take my ponytail down and I Moisturize my hair and I put the bun back on as a style if that makes sense so having my routine on when I deep condition when I moisturize during the me midweek, and when I wash my hair protein treatment, my hair has actually helped my hair grow. I usually think this was like a you playing around with me like that. Doesn'T really matter type of thing, but it actually does matter. And if you want your hair to grow, you have to stick to a regimen and you have to make it a routine and when you do certain things so yeah those are my tips. What I did was basically after I wash my hair, was I oiled my scalp with all my mixed in oil or half my grapeseed oil, my main kinds of oil and my olive oil mixed in one bottle, and then I went in. I decided to use my leaving conditioner, which was my canteen leaving conditioner. I mixed it with my du growth also moisturizer, and I also had my Oliveira as my leave-in conditioner. If he saw in the first with that bottle that looked like water, that was aloe vera, and then I went in with my curls curling cream product I've had this product for years and when I first bought it, I was kind of like ill. This product does not work for my hair, and today was a day years later than my hair decided to take in the product and actually work, my hair. It has its mind of its own. I promise you guys. It really does, and one more thing that I've noticed about my hair is my hair grows in layers, which is really weird. I wanted to cut it, but I realize that's just how my hair is, even if I do cut it, we're still gon na get the layer growth so hey as long as it's healthy. That'S all that matters to me. You know, but the number one thing I want to say is what works for my hair, my my work for you. Everything is all about experiment and learning, paying attention to what your hair likes or doesn't like. If you wash something off of my video, you try. It out and you feel, like your hair - loves they keep doing it, keep doing it if you are something for somebody's video and you go bald since stop using it. I didn't imply anything on that edge control brush we're just we're just doing nothing for nothing but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I hope he took some type of tips and put it into consideration if it works, for you says to keep going. If it doesn't it's okay, the so not your hair journey is a process. Thank you guys. So much for watching subscribe leave a comment down below. If this was helpful for you - and I will see you guys in my next video bye
