Some cute hairstyles black women can do with a flat iron include curling the hair all over or straightening the hair with a flip at the ends. Use a small flat iron to curl hair with instructions from a hairstylist in this free video on hair care.
Hi, this is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood Florida in this clip, I'm going to show you cute hairstyles for black women. Now, if you notice, I started to do a few curls here and flat irons and just not used to meet the hair straight. You can curl the whole head like this and you'll have a cute, wavy, curly hairstyle, and I'm going to show you how to flip the hair. If you had to to change it up a little bit so here's one of the styles, I started to go ahead and do the the curls earlier on and I'm going to proceed to show you how to curl the hair. First, I'm going to spray the hair with hairspray: okay, get it ready to curl the hair. I'M gon na go ahead and comb my down a little bit, so it doesn't get sticky on the curler and I'm gon na take a smaller curling iron because her hair is shorter. If it here was longer, then you want to take the bigger curling flat iron. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and proceed to twist the hair around in a curl like this and use a small curling on the flap once that around on the edges like this okay, you notice how I told the hair round around and I'm gon na, let It go and, as you see you get a nice formed hair, a curl and you can do the whole head like this, and then your hair will become curly. Okay. So again, I'm gon na go ahead and twirl it around toilet, twirl. It twirl it and I'm gon na, let go of it and you have like curly hair all over the second style. I'M going to show you is, as you see, I flip the hair instead of curling it you can flip your hair, like this all open it. Just be flipped hairstyle a little bit different than just straightening, it take the bigger flat iron and you go ahead and you push it up and flip it like that. Okay, you get a nice flip of the hair, just take it again and proceed to flip it, and you get your hair flip, like this, make sure you put a little bit of hairspray in the hair, so I can stay. candyrosepetals: She's referring to the curling-iron end piece of the flat iron. Many have interchangeable end-pieces/attachments (rounded shape for a curled look, square shape for a stick-straight look, etc.) to allow the tool to create more than just super straight hair.

candyrosepetals: I know it's 3 yrs ago, but try Kenra's Taffy product. Just ask for "a jar of Kenra's Taffy" at ULTA or somewhere else with Kenra products. Online, too. I LOVE it. My hair won't curl well (hardly any!) without it. Now, I can do more styles that look great!
FindingSelf: you shouldnt but hairspray before you striaghten it . and you should use a heat protector
LunaOverEden: what type of bee wax? Where can I find it? I am mixed and I have long hair in layers and when I use my clipless curling iron, the curl never stays. I barely get a curl or even a wave. Please help.
Mini Islands: it was washed conditioned and blow dried so it would be nice and bouncey but yea she coulda sprayed it when she was done cus it does look dry.

S. B.: @KaylasDanceStudios1 No, she isn't racist. Different races have different type of hair and need different treatment and approaches. I'm white but on the darker, Mediterranean side, and my hair isn't as smooth and soft as that of my Scandinavian friend. To achieve the same hairstyle, we use different techniques!
