Hi guys today, i'm going to show you how to do this low, messy side, bun hairstyle. To start you want to take a chunk of hair from the right hand side as shown here and just clip this out of the way for later next. Take the remaining hair and secure it into a low ponytail on the far left hand side of the hairline. Next, we're going to create a simple rope braid by splitting that ponytail in half twisting both sections to the left and then wrapping the left over the right. And then we just repeat this: all the way to the end and secure it with a clear elastic band. Add some texture spray and then just use your fingers to pinch and pull of that rope braid just to give it a nice voluminous. Look next we're going to wrap that rope braid around the elastic band and then tuck the ends under and then secure this all around the outside of that bun, using as many bobby pins as needed, once everything's secured into place just pinch and pull at any sections That look a little bit flat next release that right hand section and bring it over towards the left hand, side and add a clear elastic band just past where the bun ends then use your finger to create a small hole and flip that little ponytail through so You'Re creating a small twist and then gently use your fingers to pinch and pull all around that twist to make it nice and messy we're going to slip that little elastic band underneath the bun and then just use some bobby pins to secure that to the head. If you've got any tail ends left over just wrap these around your finger, so you're creating a barrel curl and then just pin this as close to the bun as possible, then use your fingers to loosen up that left hand. Side, add some hairspray and here's. The finished look: if you liked it, please give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe for more tutorials. You

Shechols: Oh my goodness! Thank you so much. I've been panicking trying to figure out how to do like a 1920s look and the s/finger waves all around are outside of my comfort zone as far as capability. Then I found some inspiration for a messy side bun and found this tutorial and it's perfect! I plan on implementing like 2 finger waves on the side of the head with the bun and then putting a headpiece on with a birdcage veil on the other. So excited!

Brittany Schmalfeldt: Im going to try this on Wednesday. I'm going to the 2 year anniversary memorial for my best friend that passed away in 2019. I'll add a flower clip to the right of the bun as she loved flowers. Thank you.

But I have very thick hair, but it is also fine and I have never been able to get Bobby pins to stay in. they fall out in seconds. Do you have a similar style without Bobby pins please, or are there any tricks to using pins that might help please?
